    "Yes, that would be great." Crescendo shot a pitying glance at the skinny woman. Obviously she hadn't been fed enough as a child.

    Crescendo walked cautiously down the stairs and saw a warm light coming through the cracks between two large swinging kitchen doors. The sound of laughter, pots, and pans echoed through the main hall, and Crescendo's stomach rumbled. She looked down at it and gave in. "Oh, all right." She pushed through the swinging doors.

    "We all know you're the Amal who's been attacking this settlement after dark, and if you're not, you're affiliated with Concerto. Where is he?" hissed Chorale, trying to keep her voice down.

    I joined the Shard because I had read Brandon's books and Mist told me about this amazing website where I could talk about them. I was intimidated by all of the incredibly intelligent discussions, so I left until Mist persuaded me to come back. I LOVE this website and I don't know what my life would be like without it. I have had so many good times here and I can't wait to have many more! I've enjoyed everything!!!!! Most of all, though, the people. I love you guys!

    Chorale walked closer to the bubble. "Who are you and where's my brother?"

    Surely Concerto's Amals wouldn't be this obvious, thought Chorale. But it was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. Her eyes glowed and she created a bubble of white light around the Amal, trying not to draw too much attention to herself, but it didn't work. Her energy bubble's light drew eyes like moths to flame. I should have known that wouldn't work, she thought, mentally smacking herself.

    It hurt me too. Now, please place the apostrophe correctly. Sorry, I tend to get a little frosty when I'm talking about grammar, spelling, and the like.

    Crescendo woke to find Diminuendo hovering over her. She sat up, bemused. "What do you want this time?" "Crescendo, you need to say the Second Ideal." "Um... I don't know the Second Ideal." "Well, figure it out. You need to say the Second Ideal." Crescendo stood up. "I'll try my best, okay?" Diminuendo, not satisfied, drifted after her as she exited the room and went to go do something else.
