  1. "An ancient delicacy of a long-forgotten people," he said, using a smooth knife to slice it into pieces. "They called it 'pizza'!"
  2. Hehehe... this is why Episode 3 is my favorite!
  3. Cruz shrugged. "Anyone want to use my venomous dagger, while they're at it?"
  4. "Quite so," he answered. "Keep your secrets, then." "Peculiar," Exodus answered, "Well, should you see him again, tell him to mind his own business." The barkeeper and his assistant both walked over to their table. The assistant with a plate of stacked thick chicken strips, raw, and the barkeeper with a steaming hot concoction of the odd tomato-cheese-bread, with small slices of pork layered over top of it. "Your order's ready," the barkeeper said, smiling, and he set it down in front of Exodus, Ara, and Minuet. "I think I cooked it about right. Smells good, that's for sure." "An' 'ere's your chicken, Arik!" said Roy cheerfully. "Oh, there's the kitchen," Orpheus noticed. He stepped up behind Valzwyn, near Owlson, and gaped in awe. "Cara? ...a ghost?" @Isabelle6060
  5. And by consequence, this brought Up Dog into existence. But no one knew what Up Dog was.
  6. He shrugged. "It's not even an allergy, it's more a high intolerance of foods with high sulphur content, such as garlic. Makes me sick if I eat it. And, I think you're thinking of silver."
  7. “Then we are like an eternal flame?”
  8. “Pleasure to meet you, Thetan. Purified flame, that’s a name I’ve heard before, for sure. I’m afraid not too much more than that.”
  9. Is it going, are we looking at a specific timeframe?
  10. “Odin Innerin,” he answered. “And yours?”
  11. ...Queen Aeusedan? I’m feeling clueless, but there are four clues before my eyes!
  12. They were unsure of how successful they were, as Not Up 2 still was not Up. But it made them money, so they shrugged it off.
  13. “I learned a long while ago to not dwell on my past, or wallow in self-pity. As hard as it may be sometimes, I live by it.”
  14. "If I'm about to starve to death, I probably will, but we have a long while before that happens." He glanced at the human. "No offense. Besides, the idiot humans have gathered all the blood for me, now!"
  15. He paused. "Well... I've heard better. I haven't laughed in a long time, and not for the forseeable future if this is what we have to work with." He smiled.
  16. Odin just looked at him, then nodded slowly. "Of course..." he said, then hesitated. "Uh, and good joke."
  17. Odin, unsure of how to do religion, gave a quick, small bow. "Any taboo I should be aware of?"
  18. Odin nodded. This seemed familiar to him, to his lifestyle. Perhaps he'd been taught more than he knew, or perhaps it was in his blood. "Then I will prove myself," he said confidently, then smiled at them all. "Thank you... for giving me this chance."
  19. "If there is anything I can do to prove my sincerity," he pleaded, "I'll do it."
  20. "I could learn," he said, then smiled a bit.
  21. "I've been here for several years, now, waiting for a chance for my life to change." He looked at Thetan, his eyes a bit wet. "And so I'll mean it. If I can help out any way, I could approach one day righting my wrongs."
  22. "I wasn't offering it, I was asking if we had any here. And it seems we do not, unless I sink my fangs into our friends over here."
  23. Odin looked to the man, a tad confused. "Made some bad choices, gambled my life's savings away, plus addictions. Wife left and robbed me, and I've not been able to find a job."
