Lopen was able to take in Stormlight and use the Surges before we found out he had a spren. The spren acts very childish just like Syl did when she and Kal were first interacting, indicating the spren is probably very recent and its full essence is not entirely in the Cognitive Realm. It is reasonable to believe that Lopen got his spren after already being able to use the Surges. And when Kaladin is gone, Lopen is unable to use the Surges as he had been able to do before.

The Coppermind as it currently stands states (under "Surgebinder"): And there is this WOB I think is somewhat relevant.

Proof: It is why he appears everywhere plot-relevant. He has a supernatural writer's sense to appear wherever the story will happen. Theory: The Ghostbloods are supernaturally reanimated corpses.

Yes, he has stated that Nalthians are more highly cosmere-aware than other cultures: And in Warbreaker, Dedelin refers to T'Telir as a "dragon's nest." And Brandon has also said that that is not a translation quirk, so dragons are a concept that they seem to understand, at least in mythology.

We do know that there is a lot of connection between Roshar and Nalthis, and we also do know that Nalthians do know what dragons are. Not sure about the lions. I suppose the dragon in the corner is the only in-world depiction of cosmere dragons (correct me if I'm wrong). So if anyone's into cosmere dragons then there you go.

I have recently come across this particular WOB: This, I find kind of interesting, especially "no matter how small that investiture." I can see how if someone were to somehow hold Stormlight for a very long time, they might change to be more driven, to act more, as Stormlight does. Or maybe having a crazy ton of Breaths like Susebron would make one more... willing to endow? Is there a word for that? Maybe that's kind of why he's so nice. And now a word on innate investiture. We know that nearly all humans in the cosmere have what is called innate Investiture. Now I'm pretty sure that the process for changing one's personality is very slow, and the amount of innate investiture so small, that I doubt it is really going to make much of a difference when comparing a normal human from Roshar to one from Scadrial, or Nalthis, etc. But as a race, maybe they lean ever so slightly towards the intent of the investiture they are invested with? Scadrians are more ruinous or preservation, Nalthians are more, endowment-y. I guess what I'm kind of wondering is what you guys think of that. Has anyone seen what might be differences in the nature of humanity between different Shardworlds? What do you think? The last thing I'd also like to bring up is Hoid. Because we know Hoid is acquiring bits of Investiture, with breaths and Surgebinding and his being Mistborn now. Sometimes I feel like he's a little bit of a different person across books and before I just guessed it was him playing different roles. Though, maybe this explains part of it. Anyways. Thoughts?

Just finished Elantris recently, I don't care much if Raoden was still mostly the same, I like him a lot the way he is. Next I have to say is of course Hrathen though I did find his evilness and ignorance mildly annoying. Stuff like calling Raoden "obviously an imposter, etc." But I like him. And then I don't like Sarene much.

Hey all. When I am bored I sometimes get around to programming things. I'm not cool like that, and I don't know any of those languages. But I DO use Scratch. For those, who don't know, Scratch makes coding really basic with "blocks" of coding. Anyways, hopefully one day I'll get around to the real thing. You are flying M-Bot who is for some reason letting you access only his destructors and nothing else, and you are a pilot who urgently wants to destroy all the asteroids in some asteroid belt until your shield goes down. Nice thoughts. I just finished Starsight, by the way. I think the working faster near the portal wasn't anything new, at least not yet. He was trapped in that drone thing, which probably didn't allow his cytonic thinking which made him AI. So he was mostly restored to normal, I think, in the nowhere. But that is very interesting to think how he would grow there... maybe he'll finally be able to rewrite his Click. Clickclickclickclick.

Well at least it did for me. I'm pretty sure it's the humans of the First Desolation, after they beat the Voidbringers the first time. Their homes become our dens. Their lands are now our farms. I should've seen it. But there are way more hints toward it in the second book epigraphs, inside the old Parshendi songs found at https://coppermind.net/wiki/Words_of_Radiance/Epigraphs under Listener Songs They're always just subtle hints but I feel like I should be getting them. A good example comes from WoR chapter 30 (consider it is from a Parshendi viewpoint):

I sure hope it's a TV show. If they do movies, I won't accept it unless they split each book into three movies each. Then we could have a 30 movie series. So, basically, I want a TV show. I think if they do a movie, the first thing they could cut out would be the interludes. What else would they do with them? Have them be end-credit scenes, maybe, or compile them all together and make move 31: The Forgotten Interludes. We need to get Axies and Rysn on screen guys. And for what I would want in it... um, I can't really think of anything except a Brandon Sanderson cameo! He could cameo in every movie or episode and canonize himself as a worldhopper. Plus, think of the memes! With an actual movie adaptation, the fanbase would likely increase (gaining a number of fans who will probably never end up reading the books ) and therefore the memes.
