So I went to the website, scrolled down, only saw the newsletter sign up. I clicked on the “three line symbol” in the topish right and still found nothing. Am I doing something wrong?
-
I think you can get it at Brandon Sanderson.com but I’m not sure. Edit: found it. I looked up way of kings prime in the website.
-
The newsletter or the signup? I think I’m right that it’s sent to you only once in a while, but I might be wrong. I have no experience with this.
-
So I can’t find the prose link. I’ve signed up, though. Edit: I’m stupey. The email said Brandon sends 4 times a year.

“I, though just a koloss, will pledge allegiance to this cause. I am the 17th of my brood, but I believe that is an important number round these parts. I might also be a paladin sherrif, but I am also an avid and awkward reader. I will serve this here cause well, I thunk. books before friends 17th shard before the real world release dates before birthday parties.”

Thanks! That really clears things up!

Doesn’t it take at least some concentration to maintain control of koloss? I might be wrong on this, but I think you have to use some mental force and attention. In the third book, there was talk about feeling the koloss Consciousness within their own and their restlessness, if I remember correctly.

Change in Surgebinding with Death of Honor
Koloss17 replied to GudThymes's topic in Cosmere Discussion
My bad, the thread began with “I was readin RoW..” and had a quote, so I made sure not to read it. I now read it and it’s not really a spoiler.- 16 replies

The secret it the almighty power of ordering it from-I believe- board game geek. and I totally recommend it! It’s fun and it has a great layout and compactness to the storage. Everything is very straightforward.

I like the reckoner books a lot! What would be the most ironic power combo that an epic could have and why?
-
Welcome! What are the top three characters are you most likely to punch in the face?
-
What character that you have read so far do you think you would be most likely to hug?

So I was wondering what makes a quality post, as well as what kills a post. Some things to keep in mind whenever I or anyone else posts something, really, cuz I’m a self-conscious person and need this type of stuff.

I’m creating an MTG set based on the first mistborn book. I’m having a bit of trouble creating cards, like defaulting to having a converted mana cost of 4 and having power and toughness 2/2. Another problem I’m having is finding art I can use for my cards. I’m not publishing or submitting any of my cards anywhere, this is just for personal use. I can easily get characters online, but it’s much harder for cards that are event based, like sagas or instants/sorceries. If someone could point me in a direction of easy art that would be nice. also getting a bit more on the creative side, I am willing to hear card ideas. Currently Allomancer and feruchemist abilities are activated ability based. I’m also thinking of going very heavy rebel tribal. I already got all the Allomancers and important characters. My rebels are red and white. I’m planning on having noble side tribal; having a good amount of nobles, but just not as many noble buff cards.

Koloss are people too foundation
Koloss17 replied to ShardShaper's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Koloss May have gotten a case of Stockholm syndrome. HAlp. Next I might just fall in love with a person that imprisoned my father and has locked me in their castle and has a talking candle which is unquestionably hot. -
Hey I’ve been having trouble with the straight part lately. Is that okay?

Soothing and rioting is mind control!!!!!! No fair!!!! I did not consent to mind control! I’m suing you for unconsented mind control! -
Well I actually take back what I said. We’re dealing with the surge of gravitation, so I’m guessing it is a small gravitation bubble, if that makes sense. So it would gravity a group of things. For example, it could lash a table with some plates on it and they would all be gravitated, if the person so chooses.

Hey! That was mean! You’re not invited to my birthday party! -
So I’m rewatching Jodie whitticker’s seasons and all the hate it’s getting seems to be a tad faulty. It’s kinda like bill. The episodes were almost never bad and a lot of the time they were actually quite good. They served their purpose and did everything a doctor who episode and season Should do. The only issue is that they brought nothing new to the table. I felt that there wasn’t much special about bill, and I’m feeling there isn’t much that sets jodie’s Doctor from the others-nothing new brought to the table. there was the point that it is more like classic who, not new who, which I think has some merit, though. So I’d say Jodie is doing great with what she got. She probably applied to be the next doctor, just like anyone else and got it. There’s nothing wrong with a female doctor. I don’t think the doctor should be specifically male. That is a stupid line of thinking (my bad for being a bit rude, am I rude now?). I know that the new seasons are a bit more in your face about the political messages, and honestly I don’t watch movies and series for that, but it’s a fair way to play things. I think it’s fine as long as it doesn’t mess up the story or episode. That did happen in orphan 55, but otherwise it’s fine. I’d say that the doctor isn’t necessarily a “male character.” I’m all for a gender swap, and it worked so well with missy. You can have your own opinion, but the doctor functions just fine with a female body and mind. She is still my doctor, just, in my opinion, not the best one. I personally love em all, preferring 10th,11th, and 12th the most. 9th got his fun change out of fatalism and PTSD, though.

Hmmmmmm. I think you would lash one particle, not all of em. So the reverse lashing most likely Amplifies the gravitational pull of an object, and there isn’t anything like reverse gravity so far.

Ooh! I like the idea of lengthening pulse sensing range more! Then you got a super sentinel for a city! You wanna find someone like miles gold twinborn? Well I scanned the city for 30 minutes and found two feruchimical(that can’t be the right word) signals in the city. that’s most likely what would happen, since bronze savants have an extended range. Although, a duralumin-enhanced bronze flare on brass gave specificity to the brass, so that’s another option.

So it’s really annoying that we don’t know what F-nicrosil Does. I would love for this to be doable, but storing investiture could be anything. Most likely it is innate investiture, investiture Keyed to your spiritual identity. This would work for breaths, the metallic arts, surgebinding, or anything you are born with. This is probably how unsealed metalminds work, but we’re not sure. I do like the idea of seeking being a sense, though. Does that mean that a A-bronze and F-tin twinborn would be able to easily pierce copperclouds?

So my brother is reading the third book of the mistborn series and made a comment about the mental concentration of controlling the Koloss. He also said that it could be easier with mental speed. That probably helps us to know how the Lord Ruler kept the Koloss at bay. He controlled them with zinc or brass, and then used mental speed, possibly compounding, to help with keep them under his control. that also opens up the power of a zinc compounder a bit more. They could basically be the beast tamer class of the mistborn world. This could possibly work better for a zinc-electrum twinborn, but I dunno which one would work better.
