I’d love to see an awakened silly judge wig that the British have, and it’s just sitting on the judge’s head and smacks the hammer thing down while the judge isn’t looking.

I thought about it as like the lop’s dagger from wakfu ; rubilax. I watched that first, the read the books, and he just reminded me so much of rubilax. Kinda demonish, like that typical demon voice in sketches and stuff, but overall friendly demeanor; for a murder sword.

I believe it’s pronounced aytee indtead of ahtee, like the shard, of that makes sense. But yeah, just coincidence.

So I’m going to be leading a game of mistborn adventure game with my family. Is there any tips for doing things? I think I have the basics of storytelling done, such as having good, 3d characters and not forcing people along a path, but I have never been a DM. I’m fairly bad a voice acting, but I think that’s fine for a family setting. one of the players are thinking of being secretly a Kandra. I’m going to give them the stats of someone with no powers because that is what the group sees them as, but secretly they have average powers in addition to average and strong stats. I think that will work. I also am a “member” of the crew with a character that doesn’t fight, but gives recourses and has contacts. Is that a good idea? I can use him as a tool to assist the plot, but I dunno. I’m thinking maybe giving him items might be a bad idea, given that it gives advantages to the group? But I do have someone built to mess with the plot, so maybe that evens it out? Should there be an in-game reason for him to mess with things? Maybe he’s a member of a third party trying to lead the group off course? I honestly don’t know. also this might not be the right forum to ask this. If it isn’t, could the mods move it to the right one?

I personally thought that in the fourth book, Kaladin was the only character I was actually interested in reading. In the second book, I quite liked how there were deep, terrible secrets that Shallan has. That was fun to watch. Her thoughts of class makes sense for the character, I’m just a bit less into it. I personally think shallan’s lines are hilarious. “I am offend. Boots.” Poor Kaladin got humiliated by a hot eater queen that wasn’t even a horneater queen. There was also the whole conversation with Adolin “ah! out!” ”you invited me in!” ”I thought you were someone else! Your knock sounded feminine! Did you knock with one or two hands!” I knocked with one hand! I was holding food! Who knocks with two hands?” that was fantastic. I also like the dynamic she has with Jasnah. Her radiantness all of a sudden not mattering is great. I also liked her trauma in OB. That whole book was just everyone being traumatized for 1400 pages. I understand that some of the stuff would fall flat for some, though.

We have no canonical idea how nicrosilminds work, so maybe??? What is most likely is that nicrosil stores the ability to use a shard-based ability, sock as allomancy or Feruchemy.

Well I’m fairly sure we know that the spikes are being used to staple him to the physical realm and to the body he is inhabiting. The scars are part of his cognitive identity (like some other scar bearing friend in the cosmete). That means that most likely they will appear on any body he is stapled to, which I believe we think is currently a mistwraith.

Breeze kinda has the stereotypical flamboyant gay vibes going on. Not necessarily with clubs, but it’s a possibility. I don’t think either are really gay, but breeze could be flirtatious with some men. I could see some of his interactions with kell falling into that category.

Good point. I don’t know if we know if there are more or less shardplates than shardblades. The shattered plains are a bad data sample because all the good shards are there.

I’d bet he’s trying to annoy us. Themst the shole point of the books. He could also have just found a smart way to not let the curators get the books through some trickery. Maybe we’ll see in the 6th book that’s coming out in November Wooooooooo!

I love reading everything finished that Brandon has made, published or unpublished, but I’ve also been avoiding them. I just feel like I should wait til it comes out. I do think this forum is dead because of a new book coming out and it seems a good handful of sharders have gotten hold of the full thing. All I’m seeing is talk about stormlight five speculations, honestly. But there will be an explosion once stormlight 4 is released and we can talk about it.

Y’know, I love getting into arguments, But I think the shard mods don’t. There was a thread where the mods had to break up some arguements that were dragging on too long and got a tad off topic. Is there a place in the shard where you can argue with people? Cuz that would be nice.

I’m an oboe, so there isn’t much competition for chairs. I feel like oboes are the outliers of band. We rarely get new people and we are special advanced instruments with tough double reeds that only bassoons can relate to. We also get mostly rests in pieces. It’s like we are hated by all composers everywhere. And when we do get to play, we just play the flute part but without the high notes. It’s frustrating, really. the only good stuff is that all the oboists I have met are insanely proud of their instrument, myself included. I wonder if there are any members of the oboe cult on the shard.
