  1. So gemmel is an experienced mistborn, but slightly deranged. lift is an edgedancer, making her frictionless, but she is just a child with not much knowledge of her powers, not to mention that she has a shardfork that doesn’t want to kill people or harm them, for that matter. with a fork off, I would think it would be without magic, but i’d reckon that gemmel would cheat a bit, wyndle or lift would notice, and start doing a bit of cheatery as well. The probably wouldn’t go all out, but it would still be intense. Most likely it wouldn’t be to the death either. Gemmel wouldn’t restrain himself even though it is a child he’s facing. in the end, I would think Lift+Wyndle would win, and gemmel would probably accuse Lift of cheating, to which Lift would say he started it. Most likely gemmel would also want to trade for the shardfork as well.
  2. It is definitely important to not silence those who have separate opinions that you do. That fringes on authoritarian tendancies for any group. I also find it important to try to make sure that things are kind and do not hurt others. What people say are their own to say, but what they do can affect everyone else. So far, Rowling has only said stuff, and it’s fair to distance or stay with the person for who they are.
  3. I’m a ravenclaw with the patronus of a red squirrel. Harry Potter is fun, and it’s even more fun to sort out all the plot holes! (Not meant to be rude, but there’s a lot of em And it is genuinely entertaining to sort them). @AonEne, it is a shame that JKR is a person that breaks canon to try and be inclusive, is lowkey a misandrist, and is a filthy transphobe (specifically MtF trans, not MtF, for some reason). But she did make some great work. I’d love to separate the two, but it gets problematic. She tries to break some canon for the sake of inclusivity, such as saying she didn’t specifically make hermione white, which definitely blurs the lines. And it’s hard to love the work if the author hates you, in the case of trans people. it’s a big debate that is a tough one, but do what you want, no one’s judgin ya.
  4. All shards have their own god metal for allomancy, Feruchemy, and hemalurgy.
  5. It can be! I would love to hear some pianage!
  6. Fellow gays and trans peeps, my brother and frankly, me as well, honestly don’t I feel quite grasp some parts of trans and non-binary orientations. we were wondering, in a perfect world where there is no gender roles within society, would there be transgender or non-binary people exist? I’m actually experimenting with being agender Myself. The thing is, I see it as a way to escape social expectations, all external. So I wouldn’t know if it’s more than that. sorry if this is really weirdly worded.
  7. Are we all winners but it’s just held for a very short amount of time?
  8. Well I’m into girls, that I’m sure of. What would be a term for that outside of the binary?
  9. So I think I coulda have actually joined the gay disasters perhaps. Experimenting with pronouns. I’m not quite a disaster yet...I think. They/them/your pancakefullness are the pronouns I’m experimenting with. also would I then not count as hetero cuz I’m not technically fitting into the binary?
  10. I’m really getting into music theory currently and the piano is really helpful for that. I’ve been playing since kindergarten but at a very slow rate since I often fail to practice. I also play oboe and sing. Maybe there should be an oboe clan. Oboists are very proud of it, or at least I am .
  11. I’m a truthwatcher, double checked. The almighty nerds of the knights radiant!!
  12. I’m experimenting with being non-binary honestly came to the decision yesterday! I’m very happy this exists! Any tips for existing as an NB?
  13. I am human! I support cause! *grunt*
  14. I believe it actually does a physical and cognitive kill, if I am correct. It needs to be a tad more invested for a spiritual kill The sword nimi is much more invested and kills in all three realms. Hence, I think, it completely destroys the body.
  15. Ooh that’s smart. Would that work? We don’t know too much about cognitive shadows.
  16. I read it through and thought it was Kelsier that was the sovereign all along (for the southern scaldrians, at least). I assume he got some help and probably used stuff like medallions to fill the metalminds.
  17. Let’s just settle for too many to count. Honestly, this is really exiting that there is a lot of possibilities, but my brain would implode with the possibilities.
  18. Oooooooooh! I never considered a rogue splinter that has allied with another shard! Wow! That opens a lot of possibilities.
  19. I took the quiz with some others. I got truthwatcher, which honestly really fits. My brother got one that fit perfectly. The others didn’t fit into the orders they were assigned at all, honestly. So I dunno how that does. Neither of them are invested(Heh) in the books, which could automatically shut them out of an order. You insult the sorting hat, and he makes a whole new house just for you, I guess.
  20. I didn’t notice that! It would definitely distract us sharders with that type of mystery. Heck, it’s doing just that!

    What is wax?

His steel bubble is apparently not because of savantism. If that’s not it, then what is it?
  22. Wax could create a steel bubble, but the coppermind has conflicted information on why. The page on resonance says that it is not because of savantism, but the steel page says that it is. It seems to be that one isn’t updated to new knowledge that Brandon dispensed. side note: if it isn’t savantism, then what is it?
  23. Basically Kelsier doesn’t trust harmony enough to have more than one spike in him at all times, and that spike would be the one tethering him to the physical realm.
  24. You should probably spoiler tag these.
  25. So I bet there is another thread talking about this, but I just couldn’t find it anywhere. so the set had these weird Kandra, if I recall correctly. It seemed kind of obvious that they weren’t really Kandra and most likely agents from another shard. They had red eyes, I believe, which points toward odium. But red is also just corrupted investiture, right? So just one of the bad shards. Which leaves as far as we know odium and autonomy, because ruin is obviously a no go. There have been many theories on what is attacking scaldrial in mistborn era 2 but I think it’s up in the air, right? There’s red mist in the cosmere cognitive realm map during stormlight archive 1-5 time, which many have assisiated with odium. But Taldain and scaldrial have a lot of worldhoppers going back and forth, which is why Trell is in both white sand and mistborn era 2, meaning autonomy is also a fair bet. did I hit what we currently are in a consensus of or am a missing or misunderstanding some parts? It is really hard to find any info regarding the strange Kandra, which is kind of irritating. I couldn’t find anything on the coppermind. given what we know, what are these strange Kandra? And who do they work for? also I hope I didn’t put any spoilers for other books. I’m fairly sure I did not, though.
