Also the fact the Reshi king can make flames as well as that Death Rattle

There are probably none (technically there's Kel's seon but they don't really count) but they would be trapped, there are basically no differences between a CS and a spren
-
That part is not unique to Roshar, sprens and CSs are also trapped in the Scadrial system

[Theory] Taln Wasn't the Herald Who Broke; It Was Chanarach
mathiau replied to teknopathetic's topic in Cosmere Discussion
That Shallan killing her mother started the Desolation. Ulim was already here for months and the Listeners had already assassinated Galivar when it happened so the Desolation would have started no matter what -
Wasn't Kal confirmed to be the character the most closely aligned with Honour in SA? Also I'm pretty sure we don't know what exactly Valour is about.

Well, the reduced gravity just means you have to multiply everything by 1.4 so it doesn't change the orders of magnitude

Oh, do you have a link to this cut chapter? Do we know if it's an Elsecaller only thing (their Resonance maybe?) or if Lightweavers can do it too?

[Theory] Taln Wasn't the Herald Who Broke; It Was Chanarach
mathiau replied to teknopathetic's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This has just been proven wrong. Maybe Shallan's mother was Chana and child-Shallan thought she had called the new Desolation but she actually did not, the War of Reckoning and the Everstorm would still have happened without her. -
Ok, there is no limit to the strength of gravity someone can withstand while in free fall, which is the state flying Windrunners are. Yes if you're on the ground you're blood will pool in your feet and have trouble irrigating your head but if you're in free fall your body won't see any difference with zero gravity. You're assuming Elscallers can Soulcast things in Physical Realm from the Cognitive Realm which is not sure. Suicide nuclear bombing are definitely possible though

Anything a crossbow can. Including long distance A lashing is roughly 6,84m.s^-2, Roshar's gravity is 70% that of Earth, so you're looking at 73meter with 10 lashings Maybe they could use gravitation fabrials as an alternative to conjoined fabrials that require less manpower but more Stormlight? They could also use them as propulsers for long-distance bombs Also, the Windrunner are able to manipulate pressure maybe there's a blowgun-like weapon to create? We know gold healing will heal around the aluminium instead of ejecting the bullet Absolutely not. There is no limit to the strength of gravity someone can withstand, what makes pilots pass out is the fact that their blood is not accelerated at the same rate as their neurons but with gravity everything is accelerated at the same rate

What did Ishar do to the original Oathpact?
mathiau replied to mdross81's topic in Cosmere Discussion
The Stormfather implies stealing Sprens was not possible when Honour was alive, granted a Nahel bound is probably different than the Oathpact bound so it's possible that was possible but it's unlikely Why would either event directly wound Honour? And the Recreance happened because Honour was already dying and too mad to calm the Radiants down -
Parallels in Knight Radiants Oaths/Ideals
mathiau replied to NickHunter's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Current day Skybreakers are not like they should be, the two orders were probably originaly even more similar From the offical quizz, Dustbringers are "I will seek self-mastery", not do what they must Elscallers are "I will reach my potential" not anything about truth Willshapers are a group of very different people and not all are about freeing other people The first is "I will seek justice" not "I will follow the Law" Dustbringers are basicaly the "great power implies great responsibilties" order so in don't think their oaths are these That would make a lot of sences, nicely done The first two make a lot of sense and I want to agree with the last but the Epigraph of Oathbringer's chapter 58 is this If they had an oath of non-sacrifice they would probably already know spending one's entire life seeking to sacrifece themself is wrong Boundsmiths Oaths are very wide in what they can be (and apparently diffear significantly depending of which Godspren your bounded to), these would most likely work as Boundsmiths Oaths but they are probably many other way to do it -

It seems like that is what happen whenever a Shard loses his Vessel without finding a new one

"I don't. I'm trying -and lamentably failing- to understand her" Of course the fact she was fully storing her Connection with her didn't help. And was also preventing her from seeing Marie as a serious threat and to act in consequences. GOD BEYOND SHE WAS DUMB. Adilie stopped storing her Connection with Marie, she expected to be overcome by terror but while she was indeed afraid again she was actually mostly feeling stupid

I don't know what it tells that the most upvoted comment in this thread is a one liner without picture but I don't think it's a bad thing
-
Adilie frowned and tilted her head "Are you trying to convince me to kill you or am I missing something?" Maybe she just didn't understand the full extant of what she was saying. If having power was reason enough to use it everyone would kill each other because they had the power of doing so. But then again she was a follower of Ruin

It's RoW General we are indeed supposed to keep spoiler marked

That is exactly what I was saying actually Roshar can easily have been corrupted by Odium

If Cultivation wasn't involved in creating cultivationspren there's a problem^^ Cultivation is very good at making people belive she doesn't care. Though she does seem to protect Listener more directly than humans Or he knew she would never stop helping from the shadows and didn't need anyone asking her. Also it allowed Cultivation to fake that she wasn't acting at all which is very usefull when you work the way Cultivation does Probably the latter, I doubt he splintered Dom, Dev and Amb by using the hole-in-the-soul thing That's not a crackpot at all, literally half of the Shard believes it The world can be corrupted without Cultivation being currupted
