    "a" lesser spren wouldn't really be that good. I believe the theory is that each piece of the Plate would be one lesser spren.

    He has vastly higher efficiency. Look at what Wax could do with only a few vials of metal. (Also, if this works, then why wouldn't the bands be charged with allomancy?)

    The reason Wax hasn't done the speed bubble trick is that he only has steel, not iron and steel. Considering what Kelsier could do with a few dozen pieces of metal at the same time, an average Mistborn could at least do that with one or two.
