Nameles rushed through the streets of Thread, heading for the central tower. Archivist had mostly recovered, and Nameless had left him in the care of the best doctors in the universe. Nameless burst through the main doors of the tower, leaping over the stunned guards. He dashed for the reactor room, blasting through the barred door. "A SHIELD! PUT UP A SHIELD NOW!" He looked at the stunned operator in front of him who managed to stammer out "A-a shield? bu-tha-I-authorization, I-I couldn't do-" Before Nameless shoved him aside, accessing the control panel. With a few deft swipes, he powered on the global shield. He turned to towards the operator "Get me your superiors. Now. The shield should buy us some time, but we need to have a plan for when it fails." The operator scoffed, moving back to the control panel. "Nothing could get through this shield. It's powered by Narritivium. It would take more force than a supern-" The room shook. A few seconds later, a massive BOOM resounded. Outside in the street, windows shattered, car alarms went off. The operator paled, staring at the screen. He looked at Nameless, then pulled out his phone. "I'll get you my superiors."

No, I don't think he'll need a Shardblade. When he confronted the army, he was more confronting Odium. Dalinar's Surges are not meant for combat. That doesn't mean he'll be bad at combat, or that he won't fight at all, (he's the Blackthorn, after all.) but I think that he's going to be a leader as opposed to a fighter.

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)

And a puppy. It was an awesome shapeshifting were-puppyjackalope. Nameless ascended the stairs into the Temple of Blades. He walked into the door, shivering from the cold. A glowing cloud made up of a million tiny spheres of light floated up to him. "What are you here for?" It floated closer, reaching a tendril out and touching Nameless head. "Ah... I see, revenge. You were wronged by your fellow narrators, I believe? Sometimes it is hard to tell, especially with all the protections around your mind." Nameless looked up at the cloud. "I wasn't just wronged. They sent me to an insane asylum. I was seeking help! I knew that I had a problem, and I was dealing with it, but they ignored my protests. They betrayed me. Now I'm done playing their games. I'm going to make them regret what they've done, even if it kills me." The cloud swirled for a moment, growing brighter, then returned to normal. "Very well. If you wish a weapon, you will receive one. Follow me please" Nameless followed the cloud through the temple, passing many legendary weapons on the way. Eventually they came to a locked door, sealed with chains made of Aluminum, and guarded by three Shardbearers and a Mistborn. The cloud flew up to them, and the guards stepped aside, barely glancing at the strange new visitor. The doors unsealed, revealing a long corridor, covered from floor to ceiling in complex murals. At the end there was an altar, and on that altar lay a sword. The cloud spoke: "This is the most powerful weapon in our collection. The sword above all swords, The Sword. It is the archetype of which all others are pale comparisons. A more powerful blade than this cannot be made. It grows in power each time a new sword is created. It is a blade great enough to burn kingdoms, to destroy planets, to cut universes." The cloud stopped, looking at Nameless. Nameless stared at the sword for a long time, then finally spoke: "It may just be enough." (This got weird quickly)- 111835 replies

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
NameIess replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Nameless' body lay in a paupers grave, it's soul already in the Beyond. Meanwhile, the real Nameless could not believe that the other narrators had not seen his secret, but he didn't waste any time. He began training for battle. He honed his senses. He trained until he could match Kaladin in a spear fight. He strengthened his Narratorblade and acquired Narrationplate. He was almost ready to wreak his revenge. Meanwhile, a puppy was having a party.- 111835 replies

Truthless saw that the world around him was constantly changing. The pancake was changing to hardtack, @Feruchemical Bowser was constantly shrinking and growing. Even more worryingly, Truthless felt a constant strain on his narrative powers, as if something was attempting to normalize him, to suck out his originality and randomness. Though Archivist's memories returned, he was still missing something. The difference was subtle, about as pronounced as that between a person with breath and a drab. He would be a shade slower to get a joke, food tasted just a little bland to him, but it was there.

But Nameless was dead, so he didn't care. Especially because it was just a clone that had died.- 111835 replies

Jell looked around at the new world she had forged. It was beautiful. The randomness was gone, the colors were perfectly coordinated, the people were all normal, no aliens were invading, and best of all, the anti-violence shield was fully formed around the whole thing. Similar to the one that had surrounded her as a child in all ways but two: size and strength. Even Nightblood would be unable to destroy this shield. But it wasn't enough. There were other planets, and foremost among them was Thread, home of the Ghanderflaffle association. Jell took off into the sky. Nameless watched Jell fly off, then put down the illusion. He dashed over and grabbed @The_Archivist, then teleported to Thread.

One day, Nameless fell over dead from a heart attack. There was nothing the doctors could do. Meanwhile, the real Nameless had finished his farm for now, and was plotting his revenge in all who had wronged him. Nobody showed up for Nameless' funeral.- 111835 replies

Jell ignored this last desperate attempt at combating her, even if the remark did sting a little. Jell apologized to the Godmodding police, but pointed out that she hadn't Godmodded Archivist. Then she continued to wipe disorder and randomness from existence. Luckily for @Feruchemical Bowser and @McWafy, she didn't notice them bickering.

An interesting stratagem. 25

Who was the vessel of Frustration before you?

Except that no food existed except for hardtack. Bowser couldn't even remember any food except for hardtack.

"Creativity and randomness? They are next on my list. in fact, I think I'll start with you" Jell grabbed Archivist and sucked out everything creative, random, or different inside of them. Then Bowser remembered that they were just a normal turtle, and that pancakes and ice cream didn't exist, so they were actually eating hardtack and ice cream. Then they forgot that pancakes and ice cream ever existed.

Jells eyes flashed red. "So. Confectioneries will always triumph? then confectioneries shall be destroyed." All across the universe, all food ceased to exist, save for hardtack. Archivist lost all memory of baking. Jell turned towards Truthless. Truthless stopped dancing. He wondered why he had been moving his feet in such a strange pattern. Ignoring the tiny voice in his head that screamed that something was wrong, he walked slowly away.
