silksong did not  like steam when it released it broke steam, the Nintendo eshop, and the  PlayStation store

  2. "Excell-no wait! I didn't want that!" The axe exclaimed. "Stupid Author, manipulating me into this." "Them? Oh, Second may be a Narrator, and I've never met BENJI before. I'm also not a recruit." Subversion smiled at Ralsei. "I can free you from this place. And I can help you with your prophecy problems as well."
  3. "Well of course it was cool. I was involved, wasn't I?" "I am Subversion, a Narrator interested in your plight."
  4. "Rude Buster?!? I've never been rude in my life!" The axe said indignantly. "But... well, let's try it." "Very good. Make certain nanobots are recognized as weapons, then spread that over the whole complex. If you could exclude my defense drones, that would be excellent." Subversion appeared next to Ralsei. "Hello little Darkner. Would you like to be able to leave this place?"
  5. “Oh fine, if you insist-Wait no!” The axe vibrated angrily. “You tricked me into this!”
  6. "Perhaps you should do so away from the vault construction in the future?" Malevolence gestured to the smoking ruin that had been the partially completed vault. "Who do you think the chef was? Him? Well, he was a good cook, I'll admit, but I ran the kitchen most nights. I like to think me being there really cut down on the complaints." The axe make a screeching sound that might have been laughter. "In fact, no one ever complained about my cooking-" It paused for dramatic effect. "-twice."
  7. "I'll have you know I'm renowned for my cooking! my previous owner ran an extremely reputable restaurant, before he... well, I'd rather not talk about that." Malevolence's computers automatically teleported him away, then teleported him back moments later once the explosion was passed. He glared at Cricket vengefully, breathing mask over his mouth to keep out any lingering fumes. "I suppose that was payback for what I did when we first met?"
  8. "Oh, and I suppose that axe of yours can microwave food as well?"
  9. "Oh, you think that's cool? That's nothing!" The axe gleamed, and suddenly every tree around Susie collapsed into evenly cut cubes, fires extinguished.
  10. Every tree within sight of Susie burst into flame spontaneously.
  11. "Excellent!" Sequence felt a sudden gust of cool air as fans kicked on. "Construction is preceding on schedule." Malevolence noted as lights turned on to reveal dozens of robots busily assembling a massive metallic structure in the center of the cavern. "The vault itself will be covered in my most advanced technology, shielded as best I can make it, guarded by my most powerful drones. Worst case scenario, I'll have devices in play to destroy the paper. That will move it elsewhere and hopefully give us time to reclaim it." "That was pathetic." Muttered the axe. Then in a louder voice that dripped with condescension. "Very good. I see you don't need me at all. Well, it was pleasant meeting such a powerful young hero, but I'm sure you have important places to be."
  12. "No! I'm just an axe!" The axe said in an annoyed voice. "A gift from my Author, the one who was speaking in your mind." In a lower, but still clearly audible voice, the axe continued. "Just my luck too, to be created for an acerbic no-brained dinosaur thing. I hope she leaves me on the ground so a real hero can come along and use me properly."
  13. "Oh, sure, insult the axe enchanted to burst into flame for doing exactly what it was designed to do!" The axe complained in a buzzy, metallic voice. "What did you want me to do, sit there while you insult me?"
  14. The voice did not reply, although the axe in front of Susie did spontaneously burst into flame.
  15. I wonder what would happen if Star cut her arms off. It would probably be difficult, but would it require her to fully overpower the manacles? Or would her arms just grow back with manacles?
  16. "Excellent." A small box appeared next to Cricket. "There you go." "Truly?" The Priest took a moment to compose himself. "Very well. To start with, you should do your best to undo all the evil plots you've been... plotting." Editor Nameless appeared next to Rebus. "Excuse me, sir Rebus. I believe you are operating under a slight misconception about the Witherlord's imprisonment and the void between worlds." "Very well." A piece of paper bearing the specifications for the metal alloy appeared in Sequence's hands. "A mile-wide band in all directions around the vault should do." Nothing for you to worry about. Here, take a magic axe! A magic axe appeared in front of Susie.
  17. “Will a sliver of Nullite linked to a battery do?”
  18. "I've designed a titanium alloy for the purpose." Malevolence examined the room, then nodded and muttered a voice command under his breath. With a flash of lightning, several construction robots appeared and began setting up lights. "I suppose I could source it, although it would be easier if I could just give you the specifications and allow you to Narrate the surrounding rock into the proper metal." He paused, then leaned a little closer to Sequence. "I have taken the liberty of installing an investigative network of drones around you planet for early warning purposes, so let me tell you this: Rebus is a madman and a fool if he thinks anyone can control the power of the Mantle. You know firsthand the corruptive power even a regular withergeist holds. So far as I know, not a single host of the Mantle has done anything aside from working to destroy all creation." He took a deep breath, adjusting his cloak slightly. "And please believe me when I say this, I want to rule TLT. Not destroy it. The power of the Witherlord would be incredible to hold, but I hold no illusions about what I would do if I were to take it up." This was true, Malevolence would have grudgingly admitted if he could have heard Bacon's decision. Instead he settled for hearing everything going on through the spy devices he'd planted on Bacon, Cep, and all the rest of the group. The Priest's mouth fell open. "...Truly? You... actually... agree? You'll change your ways?" He closed his mouth with a snap. "That is... unexpected. Is this some sort of trick?" "Not so fast!" Malevolence interjected. "Actually, some Nullite would be excellent. Or at least some sort of Ennulling. I believe I have the technological edge over Rebus, but he certainly has the edge in resources and power. If he attacks this place with Narration, technological defenses will do little good."
  19. Malevolence waved it aside. “I have no desire to be tricked again. Besides, I’m a hologram.” “Interesting. Do you mind if I study you?”
  20. "True. True. One can always trust one's enemies to be enemies." Malevolence eyed Cep curiously. "Do you happen to have a split personality?"
  21. "No." Malevolence said softly. "The academy took breaking trust very seriously."
  22. Malevolence's eyes darkened. "Considering how many 'friends' I've killed, tortured, nearly been killed and been tortured by, I believe I shall pass on these fleeting pleasures."
  23. "Feel what? emotion? Of course I do. I simply see no reason to care about others. Compete against them, sure. Rule over them, naturally." Malevolence shrugged. "Care about them? That wouldn't gain me anything. Aside from companionship and trust, I suppose. But who needs trust? that just gets you betrayed."
  24. "So?" Malevolence looked confused. "Why would that matter?"
