  1. Yeah, I think I would. I guess I'm technically currently writing a second villain on TLT, (first one was in the Insanity Clinic) so I'm not totally averse to the idea.
  2. Klave raised an eyebrow. "Fine. Die on your own, if you wish to." The fire went out, and he folded his arms to watch.
  3. The only time I've ever written a villain, it started okay and then kinda got less so at the end. It was fun while it lasted.
  4. I think something that's being overlooked is the ubiquity of aluminum on earth. It's pretty easy to start plating tanks in aluminum to protect them from Shardblades, and if Scadrial can figure out aluminum bullets, so can we. (Although it'll probably take a while to get production up and running).
  5. I'm not very good at this kind of thing, but it is possible to host a MC server for free using Oracle Cloud. Here's a link to a tutorial to set one up.
  6. Clinic: Lobby Nameless woke up, and immediately walked over to Bookwyrm. “Hey. You downloaded that Archive, right? Can I get a copy?” @The Bookwyrm
  7. Unfortunately, a strange creature began attacking their supply lines, causing chaos and leaving no survivors.
  8. In reality, this was all part of their water laundering scheme.
  9. "I have a few other tricks, but mostly just fire. I hunted all sorts of creatures. Some were just magically enhanced normal animals, such as bears, wolves, or whatnot. Others were unrecognizable. Things cloaked in fog." Klave shrugged. "Some of them may have been intelligent. I never really cared to find out if they could communicate."
  10. Klave's definition of fun didn't include fighting a giant goop monster, but it did require him to not let others get eaten by a giant goop monster, so he launched some fire at said monster to see what would happen.
  11. "You will be able to. You guys are some of the greatest heroes I've ever known. You'll stop Kaos, and you'll stop whoever that other guy is."
  12. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive "I'm sure You, Bookwyrm, Calano, and the others will figure things out. You're all good at that."
  13. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive "So, there's more than one evil entity with practically unlimited powers out there?" Nameless laughed wryly. "Figures. The multiverse never could give us a break."
  14. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive "Alright. Just so you know, I think I understand a little of what you're going through. Feeling like you're going to be a danger to everyone you know, it's hard. I know how hard it is."
  15. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Nameless blinked. "You've... Oh. Are you going mad? Turning evil?"
  16. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive "Your work? What've you been working towards?"
  17. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive "Thanks." Nameless rubbed his temples, thinking back through the conversation. "You said you stopped a chicken knife somehow? Any other odd powers showing up like that?"
  18. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Nameless' eyes narrowed at the mention of the chickens. "Have they been doing anything lately? The chickens, I mean." He hesitated, glancing around to make no one was in earshot. "Speaking of chickens, that reminds me. Could you do something for me? There's this Aes Sedai, a red by the name of Rue. Could you... not mention those times I used Callandor? Or any of the times I went crazy and tried to kill people. See, I'd really like her to trust me, and I think mentioning that stuff would probably not help with that."
  19. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive "Okay. I'll ask him later." Nameless looked closely at Thaidakar, noticing a strange look about his friend. "How've you been lately? I haven't seen you since you sent me off to meet your friend, right after the wedding."
  20. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Nameless released the source, wiping his brow free of sweat. "So, this Archive. Do you know how to find stuff in it?"
  21. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Nameless halted his attack, breathing heavily as he prepared a few more weaves in case the automaton got back up. "Thaidakar. Good to see you again. I'm glad you're alright."
  22. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive The fireballs slammed into the automaton as Nameless continued channeling, sending weaves of earth that caused the floor beneath the automaton to explode violently as he continued a relentless barrage of fire.
  23. Unfortunately, all his water was quickly stolen by thieves.
  24. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive A gateway split the air in front of Bookwyrm and Nameless charged through, flinging weaves of fire at the automaton. @The Bookwyrm@Thaidakar the Ghostblood
  25. "My scent? That's a bit of a long story, but I can give you the gist of it." Klave took off his right glove, revealing a hand covered in red shimmering dragon scales. "In my youth, I was a Hunstman. We were a unit in the king's army whose sole job was to deal with monsters." He stared at his hand, continuing. "It was terrible. We were barely-trained recruits, and they threw us at creatures with powers beyond our understanding, perfect predators empowered by magic. Casualties were... catastrophic. I fought things too horrifying to comprehend, watched comrades die in the most awful ways imaginable." His eyes were distant, filled with pain. "I used to envy them. Their deaths were terrible, but at least they knew how it would end. At least it did end for them." He shook himself, eyes snapping back to the present. "Anyways, I was lucky. I survived for three years, got to retire. Tradition was, a Hunstman who survived their enlistment got a dragon scale embedded in their hand. That was this one." He tapped a red scale embedded in the center of the back of his hand, noticeably larger than the others. "The kingdom has quite a store of them left from the extermination, and Huntsmen surviving is rare enough that the tradition will probably continue for centuries before they start running low." Klave held out his hand palm up, small red flames bursting from his upraised fingers. "I didn't have any powers at first. Something like that would have been noticed, and used, if it was as easy as embedding a dragon scale in someone. A few years after I finished my service, I had an encounter with a dragon, and it... activated the scale somehow. It started spreading, creating magic, changing me. At first it almost killed me, then it almost drove me insane, but eventually I managed to master the power it gave me, with a little help." Klave let the flames die and lowered his hand, looking up at Lightning. "That answer your question?"
