Insanity Clinic For The Moderately Brandofandonitis Afflicted
NameIess replied to Going_North_cal's topic in Roleplaying
Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless laughed, and a burst of mirth came through the bond, followed by stress, a touch of anger, and all the rest of his emotions as he stopped masking the bond. "If you think people can't come back from the dead, you're in for a shock when I tell you about my past." @Aes Sedai -
612b. In the case that you do live past the end of your series, it may be better to die before the second series begins.

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless looks at Calano. "Well of course he's right there. He came back to life. And Wizard as well, although he did it differently." He shrugged, face calm. -

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless jumped, then shot Rue a glare and spoke normally. "Of course not. We fought the chickens a while ago. They tried to take over the clinic twice. The first time, they killed Wizard, and Emma used the Nethergrim's power to defeat them. The second, they had a guy called Lark's help. He got ahold of the Clinic treaty and put himself in control, then made a deal with the chickens to kill Calano, Emma, and the others who would have challenged him. They killed Calano, and would've stolen Emma's power and killed her, but I managed to save her." Nameless clenched his fists, visibly furious. "I hate them. Those monsters have tried to take everything from me time and again, and one of these days they'll succeed. Unl-" Nameless cut off, breathing deeply and forcibly adopting calm. Throughout his explanation, and in fact throughout his entire conversation with Joe, not a hint of emotion passed through the bond. @Aes Sedai -

Insanity Clinic For The Moderately Brandofandonitis Afflicted

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "I understand. Stay strong, Calano." Nameless sighed, standing up. Storms. What am I supposed to do? Not even the Dragon Reborn could solve this mess. Well, maybe he could. Kaos seems a lot like the Dark One. Leaving Calano with Insa, Nameless walked over to Joe. "So, where exactly did you come from? And what are your goals?" @Shining Silhouette -
Klave snorted. "I doubt it. They don't appear to have any predators here, and unless I'm very wrong about their natural place in the food chain they'll reproduce like rabbits. Maybe faster, since there's magic involved. Unless we kill all of them, their population will regrow faster than you'd think possible. I've seen it before."

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless set Calano down next to the others. "Are you okay? We need to be ready to move, and maybe fight. I don't know what Emma's doing, but I'm sure it's not good." @CalanoCorvus -

Ravelast "Of course. No random stranger I've met has ever turned out to be an evil person intent on killing my friends. I'm sure that's impossible." There's definitely something strange about this guy. @Shining Silhouette -

Ravelast "So, you want to come with us? Feel free to. Just don't try to kill anyone or eat our power or anything like that." Nameless stepped through the gateway, entering the camp. @InfiniteInsanity @Shining Silhouette -

Ravelast Nameless nodded through the gateway. "That's where we're going. Back to camp. As soon as they wake up, we'll get out of here." He hesitated, uncertain. "I don't know where we'll go. The clinic might not be safe anymore, if Emma's turned." "What do you mean how is that possible? It's just a name." Nameless' voice had a hint of defensiveness. "A totally normal, not-at-all strange name." @InfiniteInsanity -

Ravelast "Right." Nameless picked Calano up with weaves of air and moved to step through the gateway. he froze when he saw Joe. Something about that guy feels... off. "Hello stranger. I'm Nameless. Good to meet you. Rue, Insa, you guys coming?" @InfiniteInsanity @Aes Sedai @Shining Silhouette -
Yeah, I see your point. I will say that we haven't seen too much steel compounding yet, and no one's seemed to be pushing the limits of what it can do, so it's possible that Brandon just hasn't spent too much time thinking about the limiting factors.

Ravelast Nameless took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "You're right. We should get back to camp, get ready to retreat." Another gateway split the air, leading back to the camp. "Calano's fine physically. Insa, are you hurt?" @InfiniteInsanity @Aes Sedai -

Ravelast "I don't think so. We couldn't even break that barrier while Emma was asleep. How are we supposed to do anything now that she's awake?" @Aes Sedai
