NameIess replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
"A pity. I could have made quite the twists with another Narrator's character." Subversion nodded, making her move and standing up from the table. "Well then. This meeting with you has been productive. When you need me, feel free to call." She disappeared in a burst of smoke.- 111835 replies

"If you're sure. I did wonders with that old character of Nameless'. Poor thing was feeling quite down about himself before my help." Subversion studied the board critically. "If I like whoever you pick, I'll ally with them. I'd be more than happy to ally with Spook, but I won't make a promise on an unknown factor."- 111835 replies

"Hm." Subversion moved one of her own pieces carefully. "Perhaps I will. Do your plans for Spook require my assistance? I'd be more than happy to help." She smiled faintly. "I think Mythos plans to kill me, currently."- 111835 replies

Subversion winced, glancing towards Thaidakar's study door, which was hanging half off its hinges. "Yes. We have. Some atrocities are simply more personal than others. That's all that makes what I did any different from the average Narrator's crimes."- 111835 replies

Klave nodded, extending a hand to Galard. "Good to meet you. I'm Klave, ex-Hunstman of Aldwin. Dragons in my world, they don't really communicate. Not like humans do. They're... different. I used to think they were mindless, but more recently..." He shrugged. "Regardless, that's why I was surprised at your actions, Lightning. A dragon from my land wouldn't have bothered waiting around peacefully as you did. And they certainly wouldn't have made friends with a human."
-
Klave lay in his bed, head pounding as he gradually returned to consciousness. Eventually, he sat up on his bed, opening his eyes to his room. Darkformer below, what happened? Where am I? He tried to remember, thoughts feeling thick as lead. Slowly, memories began to trickle back to him. Memories of a desire for... for power. Yes, a need for it. He hadn't been strong enough. No, that wasn't quite right. He had the power. He needed skill. Mastery. That was why he'd sought the ancient magic, why he'd come to this inn. The rest of his memories came flooding back, his head clearing somewhat. I shouldn't have used that much Trueflame. Nightmares, but I hate how it affects me. Sighing, he got out of bed, looking down at his scaled hands, one red, one white-gold. Eventually, he stood up, following the sensation in his mind out of his room and through the inn. He walked for a time, eventually coming upon the man who claimed to be a dragon's friend. What had his name been again? The dragon was called Lightning, apparently. Klave hesitated briefly, then approached, watching the yellow dragon carefully. "Hello? I'm Klave. I've heard that dragons in other worlds are... different from my home, and I wanted to meet one." @Trutharchivist
