    "Yes Falvan, I know. I was talking to Rirrom. You should stand right there in the center of the circle, inside that ring of flames." As he spoke, a ring of black fire appeared in the center of the ritual circle. "Hurry now, or it'll start to destabilize."

    The dark figure walks over to a convenient patch of perfectly circular stone inscribed with all the necessary arcane inscriptions and begins setting up candles. "That's fine Rirrom. Just don't step into the circle until I'm finished. You're lucky I wasn't very far along last time. If the ritual had been near-complete, the amount of dark energy released when it was broken could have seriously injured you."
