  1. "Well aren't you luck- oh, really? You don't want to fight me?"
  2. A person walked up. "Hey, are you looking for a way to test that stick?"
  3. "I hope Inversion will help you. Thank you for giving me something to do." A door appears behind Everyone, leading out of the smithy. The hammer hit nothing. In the darkness, a small glowing red eye appeared.
  4. "There are two. The first is more of a tradeoff. In order to use that blade at its full potential you must put power into it. At full potential, this will make the blade incredibly powerful, surpassing even most Plotblades in strength, it will also leave you very vulnerable. You trade defense for offense, basically. The second consequence is more traditional. As I said you must put all your destructive energy into the Inversion in order to use it, which will have the side effect of putting all of your destructive, dark energy into it. Basically, the more power you put into it, the more empathetic you will become. At full power, it will consume every destructive impulse, every ounce of evil within you to power itself. Temporarily, of course." The clattering sound came from behind her again, louder this time.
  5. Nameless summoned his Narrationblade and blocked Platypus's Luxblade. "So, you think you're a Luxsprite? I can see why Subversion agreed to fight you."
  6. He would eventually realize who the voice belongs to. He's heard it once before. "Already? Darkness works fast. I... oh, that was a good move on his part. He is doing well for himself." The smoke cleared, revealing Nameless. The Narrator looked just as he had the last time Platypus had met him, save for a glowing point on his chest. "Now, onto business. Subversion wanted me to defeat you, and we never did finish our fight that one time."
  7. "I'd prefer to extract or expel TAAron's magic while leaving the weaves behind, but if that's not possible then yes, we pull both magic from the Rod and separate them."
  8. "Well it seems like the weaves are still perfectly intact. They're just hidden somehow, suppressed by TAAron's magic. If we could separate the two magics, then the Oath Rod should function again."
  9. Subversion didn’t reply, a cloud of smoke appearing as her form warped and twisted. From out of the smoke, a somewhat familiar voice spoke. “Hey Platypus. I have to warn you, there’s this guy called ‘Darkness’ giving Desolation orders. He wants Desolation to kill Thaidakar, and you shouldn’t let that happen.” I don’t think TLT should be moved to the RP forum. That would ruin it. We could move the plot to an RP forum though.
  10. “Could you… I don’t know, separate the Melodie’s somehow? Trying that here’s safer than the world of dreams.”
  11. "Not hear exactly. I can see saidin running through me, feel it. It enhances my senses, makes me... more alive. But it's dangerous. If I lose control for a moment, saidin will destroy me."
  12. "The war of the what?" Subversion's glow intensified, but the sphere continued to refuse her. "I feel like... ah, that's it. Of course. Can't force it to change." Subversion held the sphere tightly at arm's length, and smiled at Platypus in a slightly unhinged way. "Let's see how scared of the sphere you are." She plunged the sphere into her chest, and began to change.
  13. Nameless wove spirit around Pic. "Can you hear that?"
  14. Pretty sure it’s just Hoid’s Dawnshard that prevents killing.
  15. “Yes.” Nameless handed Pic the Oath Rod. “What do you make of this?”
  16. “You can do magic rhythm stuff, right?”
  17. An idea occurs to Nameless. "Hey Pic, could you help with the Oath Rod?" @Cash67
  18. "Have you heard of audiobooks?"
  19. "Before you use it, I should mention that wielding that blade at its full potential will have consequences." She heard the clattering sound of something moving that had many legs.
