    Contrary to Sequence's expectations, the door opened to reveal a workshop. The Dreamsmith sat at one end of the room, fitting a gear onto a small model. "Depends. Can you survive outside of the world?"

    “Oh, that’s easy. I just use my powers and poke a hole in the world. Works in most places.”

    "Not terrible." Nameless moved his grip down to Platypus's hands. "Yes, I'm arrogant. I have to be. When I am weak, there are consequences. That pathetic version of me died because of weakness. More importantly, he still lives because of my weakness." Light spreads from Nameless into Platypus, and the Narrator shook his head. "Platypus, you are a fool." "Well, where's someone that's trapped?" The shadow remained on the edge of the light, but it did not appear to be able to enter it. The clockwork creature hurried quickly on, and soon they were at another door. The clockwork creature scratched at the door, then turned to Sequence expectantly.

    “What kind of evidence? Like, you want me to not kick a puppy or something?”

    "Who are you talking to?"

    "Keeps coming back from the dead? How DARE you!" Nameless threw his Narrationblade to the side and caught Platypus's Blades with his bare hands. "You tell me that after what Thaidakar did? After you treated him like a hero? He could've destroyed this entire thread with what he did, and yet you accuse ME of refusing to die?" Nameless's face twisted with rage, threads of plot stabbing towards Platypus from all sides. "I will not stand here and let you insult me like this!"

    "That's because it was before your time." "Well I've changed! That was all a very long time ago."

    "You don't even know what I did! For all you know, I could have just robbed people."

    "Just the power I used to have, actually. I don't want to be evil again." "This is her test. All who would seek the Dreamsmith must be tested."

    "Okay, okay. I get that you don't want to help me." The shadowed figure sighed. "I'm just a little tired of being laughed at."

    "You just said I count as Subversion, and now you're going back on it? I thought you wanted Darkness to die." Threads of plot began forming around Platypus as Nameless increased the speed and power of his attacks. "Oh, I wouldn't kill you if I regained my power. I didn't pay much attention to unimportant people." -- Omen glared at Abalodor. "Why did you try to interfere?"

    Instead of appearing in front of Sequence, Abalodor appears in front of a very angry-looking Omen.

    Nameless looked at Platypus's blade with an expression of mild surprise. "What, you think I'll let you out of your agreement with Subversion? Not a chance. When I beat you, I'll take that Mordite blade and use it to kill Darkness. I can't afford to take the time to make another one." "I used to be, I suppose." The shadowed figure looked around. "You don't happen to know if there's anything around here that could restore me to my former glory, do you?" The figure did not move. The clockwork creature noticed that Sequence had stopped and scurried over to her, looking worried. As its center got closer to the figure, however, the circle of light's edge warped, refusing to illuminate the thing in the shadows.

    Well, I guess it could be possible to switch like that, but Platypus's personality would dramatically shift as his soul's nature shifted. Also, such a transformation would likely not be controllable for someone that is not Plot, if Plot could even have done it. And having a piece of his soul converted to Chaotic Light while the rest is Ordered Light would still have an effect, because the two powers cannot coexist. Nameless continued blocking Platypus's attacks. "Did you really fight Thaidakar to a draw? I can't imagine how, unless he was weaker than I thought." The shadowed figure held up his hands defensively. "Hey, I was just curious. I'm only here because one of my minions told me I should check it out." Crickets flapped his wings, shedding the webbing that had gotten stuck to him. I guess Xiahida is the one with the fire powers.

    The shadowed figure looked around. "Nope. Did you make it?"

    Yes, hopefully. Crickets eyed a spider nervously. Are you sure we shouldn't do something? One of them might jump at you from behind. "I'm... well, I don't really know." The shadowed figure looked up at the dull sky. "I know who I used to be. But it doesn't seem like I can ever be that person again." The Narrationblade reformed after every blow, Nameless smiling confidently. Platypus cannot be Order, Chaos, Light and Dark. Even if Plot was all four (which I don't think he was, it doesn't make sense) it wouldn't mean that Platypus could be that as well. And Nameless would definitely be able to tell the difference in Platypus's blade. He's seen Luxite, Nullite, Prismite, and Mordite, and has worked with them. He knows what they all are, better than almost anyone else still alive on TLT. He would see Platypus's blade for what it truly was.

    Oh, right. So I guess we'll let everyone else handle things.

    "So you know the truth. The story matters, and nothing else." He grinned, eyes filled with the light of chaos. "No one understands that anymore. They care about things that don't matter, they immerse themselves in the story and so become mere pawns when they should be so much more. I will fix that. And the path to fixing it starts with your death. So be prepared, Darkness. For once I am done with Platypus, you are next." Nameless spun around and walked out of the room before Darkness could make any reply, door dramatically slamming behind him. These next ones didn't burst into flames, for whatever reason. Odd. Well, you should probably hit these next ones with your weapon before they kill you.

    I wonder which of the others has fire powers. Do you know any of them?

    Nameless smiled. "Getting ready to end the fight? I approve." He gathered his own energy, switching out the medallion for his Narrationblade. By the way, Nameless used his medallion to convert a tiny piece of Platypus's soul back into Chaotic Light. Not very noticeable, but it might destabilize his big final attack "Because I knew the truth, I should not have allowed myself to die in that way. I must have lost my clarity of understanding. It happened before, with terrible consequences." Nameless shook his head. "I will be sure not to lose sight of the truth this time." The creature continued walking through the darkness, occasionally turning back to check that Sequence was still following. As they progressed, Sequence noticed that the light seemed to be centered around the clockwork creature, a ring of illumination perhaps five meters in diameter. Outside of the ring, Sequence thought she could see something. A figure so dark, that it stood out even against pitch blackness. A shadowed figure approached Jeremy. "Hello. How's it going?" -- The spider burst into flame for no apparent reason. @ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ @The Aspiring Archivist

    Nameless shoved the drink away. "I don't like alcohol. Gets in the way of narrative clarity. And I'm not back from the dead, I am a copy of Nameless. A perfect copy, mind you, made by my Author. Although he didn't intend to activate me just yet. Wanted to wait for an emergency." He gestured to his chest, which was glowing fiercely. "And just so you're aware, my Author didn't include any of those stupid regrets, or that ridiculous desire for a name." Nameless shook his head in disgust. "A name. Can you believe it? I just stood there and let Thaidakar kill me. I must've gone mad." Nameless downed the rest of his water. "Anyways, I didn't come here to kill you or see what kind of enemy you are. I am here to show you what kind of enemy you have to deal with. I am here now, and I will not allow you to win. I will see to it that you are utterly destroyed." He stood up and looked Darkness dead in the eyes. "You have never faced a Narrator like me. One who understands the truth." He spun around and began walking out of the bar. "That is I why I came. Oh, and Xyr? A word of advice. You'll need to figure out how to kill all the Narrators, if you want this place to stay dead after you kill it." @Xiahida Nameless adjusted his defense, continuing to withstand Platypus's attacks. "A good effort, but I'm afraid you're operating on a false premise. I can sense the energy in you, and in your Blade. More than that, I can see the Narrative of your attacks. This guides my instincts, although I guess you could call it cheating." He opened his eyes and stepped back. "Well, let's see how you handle this." He pulled the converter medallion out of his pocket again, wrapping the chain it was attached to around his wrist so that the medallion rested in his palm. "See, I think Subversion downplayed this thing's power. I didn't make it to concentrate energy, I made it so that I could create Luxite. It didn't end up working out like I hoped, but this thing does have its uses." Nameless thrust his hand towards Platypus, a line of light shooting from the medallion into Platypus's chest. It imparted chaos, tearing at the order that made up Platypus's soul. It's Nameless, for all intents and purposes. Not the Nameless that died, but a perfect copy of him from the time of his life when he was most useful for the purpose of correcting a wayward plot.

    Well I'll come too! You can tell them I'm your trained pet bird. Normal birds can be trained, right? "Yes, you're right." Nameless closed his eyes so that he could see the energy that made up Endings more clearly, continuing to block Platypus's attacks by instinct. "Moni's influence has done a number on this Blade." his hand glowed, and the rust flaked off of Endings as it expanded into a full sword with a razor edge. "Nothing that I can't deal with, of course." The clockwork creature spun around and skittered away from Sequence, then turned its head back to see if she was following. Nameless walked into the bar and sat down, helping himself to some water. "Hey Darkness. I thought I'd come say hello. I don't think we've met."
