We might get introduced to one or two Shards when Aether of Night gets reworked but currently (Brandon might decide to put in a book or a novella) we're slated to meet the other Shards in the late Cosmere crossover books.

Welcome to the Shard, @Destrus yeah, I had much the same experience getting into the Cosmere. I didn't read Warbreaker before Stormlight either. I went into Mistborn and Stormlight blind (and it was epic) See you around on the forums!

Don't worry! Plenty of us have bad English. Welcome!

Storming welcome to the Shard! Kalak's breath, how in Damnation was that username not already taken! Nice grab!

Welcome to the Shard! We're all very hyped too! Thankfully it's not too far!

I like his character and have defended him the last few times topics like this cropped up but Kelsier is quite a bit morally dubious. He strong-arms people into rebel groups with high chance of failure and execution, the entire rebellion was less about freeing the skaa and more about Kelsier's own state-of-mind, he was okay with himself as long as he tried. He took a long shot which only worked through sheer dumb luck, though to be fair, he wasn't working with a lot of information and as mentioned before, was still emotionally distraught over Mare. His "plan" was just: unknown metal, if it works he'll try to kill the Lord Ruler, if it doesn't, the Kandra will use his body and trick the Skaa into believing in a miracle, he just started a cult in the hope that he'd become a symbol for the Skaa to fight against the Nobility and maybe eventually kill the Lord Ruler. He was okay, because as far he was concerned, he'd done his part. He was incredibly charismatic and manipulative, we see that in his interaction with the crew (it wasn't his plan that convinced them to join up, they didn't even know his plan, but his charisma) and even more with the Skaa rebels (with Demoux and Bilg in particular). So, he's not a bad guy but he's not all that great either.

Oh my, the idea of Unsealed Metalminds businesses never even occurred to me, with all the discussions on the mechanics and Invested Arts crossovers! Copperminds (not the wiki) might be used for legal purposes perhaps? Bronzemind (wakefulness) would probably be a booming business as Scadrial gets more and more modern. There would be a (and no "probably" about it) morally dubious Goldmind business too. Pewterminds (strength) might also have a similar market as gold. Electrum-minds (determination) for the depressed could also be a thing. Iron and steelminds have so many uses, in so many fields that any Ferring with those powers could probably get very rich and live a very comfortable life off of their power. Brassminds (heat) might be an important export from Northern Scadrial to Southern Scadrial.

Granted, you are now a Steel Inquisitor in the Final Empire and you hear Ruin's voice in your head all the time. I wish for the ability to go wherever I wish to go without having to pay for it -
That wasn't for you, Llstml but for the OP's benefit, that is what they created the thread for after all.

Yeah, how the magic system works usually has more to do with the Shardworld than the Shard. The Shard's Intent shows itself in how you acquire said Investiture for eg: oaths & growth for Honor and Cultivation. Scadrian Shards have more influence on the magic, swapping out metals, because they created the planet itself. We don't know the identity of the Shard attacking Scadrial for sure btw, most people speculate it's either Odium or Autonomy. If Odium were on Scadrial... we don't know a lot about what would happen if a new Shard visited a Shardworld but it takes more than just their presence to create a new magic system or add their own element to the existing magic system. Odium would actually have to Invest himself to get his own godmetal on Scadrial.

Radiant Orders that people have so far put forward Adolin as a candidate for: Edgedancer, Stoneward, Willshaper, Dustbringer. He does fit within the worldview of several Orders, after the official Radiant quiz, Adolin is also fit for becoming an Elsecaller. Hey, Lightweaver's also available as an option. So, which Order do you think fits him the best?

29- What happened to Eshonai's shardblade which Venli took from the chasm Given to the Fused, I'd assume 30- When Kaladin sees the Fused for the first time in Revolar, he thinks they are the same as the Parshendi that Bridge Four fought in Narak. Is this correct? He probably recognized some of the bodies the Fused were using at the time, since those belonged to the Listeners of Narak 31- What is the difference between the Parshendi who killed Gavilar, the Parshendi after the Everstorm, the regular parshmen after the Everstorm and the Fused? A) The Parshendi, which is an exonym aka what others called them, they called themselves the Listeners, were a group/race of Singers living on the Shattered Plains. They escaped their gods during a prior Desolation (possibly the False Desolation, where Odium and the Fused weren't actually active but Ba-Ado-Mishram was supplying Voidlight to the Singers). Afterwards, Ba-Ado-Mishram was imprisoned by Melishi, her Connection to the Singers at the time of her imprisonment caused them to loose their Connection and Identity, causing a blockage in their Cognitive self. These are the Singers who came to be called the Parshmen and they were bred & used as slaves by the Rosharans till today. The Listeners escaped this fate by running away before the Unmade's capture. B ) The Parshendi after the Everstorm were influenced by Odium via his Voidspren which left their souls open to him. Mistborn spoilers C) The newly awakened former Parshmen after the Everstorm had their Connections and Identity restored and regained their full cognitive faculties. 32- Shallan theorizes that Re-Shephir might have been human in ancient times. Why does she say that? Because Re-Shephir appeared curious about humanity, the Unmade felt to Shallan like she was missing something crucial to herself. This makes Shallan wonder if the Unmade were spren or humans before being Unmade. Sja-Anat does confirm that "they were made, then unmade" 33- Puuli mentions the Secret Island of the Origin. Does he mean Aimia? And why does he think Kelek lives in the Storm? Which religion teaches this? Island of the Origin is theorized to be a land in the far west, in the Ocean of Origins, from where the Highstorm supposedly originates. This was the subject of the story called Wandersail that Hoid told Kaladin. Jezrien and Kalak appear to be the most pertinently revered Heralds and were often conflated with the Stormfather. It's just things being forgotten and myths getting mixed up with time. The Natan people apparently chiefly revere Kalak, many Makabaki do the same for Jezrien. Here you go. I feel like we're spoiling the joy of discovering hidden things in Sanderson's works.

Lightweavers are still my favourite Order. Soulcasting and the Surge of waveforms are powerful abilities. Their Ideals of being honest with oneself, the focus on arts, the idea of inspiring others to be better. There's a lot there I really like.

@Justice, I've read Claincy's letter as he's posted it on the Shard as well and liked what they had to say. I probably wouldn't have found out about Brandon's response on Reddit until it had become very old news, so thank you for cross-posting it here

So, from the information we currently have on Dawnshard from the released prologue makes it seem that Rysn and Lopen will be at the helm of the journey to Aimia. Until recently, they had something in common, disability. Rysn lost use of her legs in the Reshi Isles in Words of Radiance, Lopen was one-handed till he became a Radiant. Despite Lopen's injuries being much older he never viewed himself as a cripple and constantly cracked one-armed Herdazian jokes. Rysn, on the other hand, started seeing herself differently after the incident, to the point that Renarin couldn't heal her with Regrowth. There could be another journey that the characters make, Lopen might teach Rysn to view herself differently, possibly enough for her to deal or maybe even enough for her to heal.
