Hmm... point That right there might be the difference between Lerasium alloyed with Edglium and Edglium alloyed with Lerasium, or the relative percentages of the two godmetals (kinda like all the different Shardblades of different Orders' spren)

Great! Look forward to it!

Aw, well, maybe next time Hey we've got a Who's that Cosmere character game going on the forums? Would you care to join? I think no one's hosting one at the moment, so it's the perfect time to join if you've got any more clues designed!

dawnshard Let's make groups of four, RoW edition
Honorless replied to mathiau's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Oof I totally forgot! What about Hoid's Dawnshard? Hosting which apparently made it impossible for him to engage in violence or eat meat, what Command could that Dawnshard have been? -
Well then, good eye, @Paintweaver!

In case anyone needs a refresher, a Seer is an Atium Misting. Yeah, I think we all assumed that but technically we've only seen people Snapping as Atium Mistings courtesy of Preservation's Mists

@KSub you could become very rich in Scadrial very fast! Hmm... having an extant irl metal be a godmetal seems weird. I think the eponymous Dragonsteel is the godmetal of Adonalsium.
-
lol, imagine mixing it with Raysium and boom, you're now a Fused. Jokes aside, I think in this case, maybe all the Investiture would get converted into Breaths Hey, maybe that's how they get Feruchemy! (Like Lerasium can give you Allomancy, there had to be a method to become a Feruchemist! Well, not had, but it's confirmed that there's a non-spiky way!)

Hmm... is the Dawnshard spoiler period over? Anyhoo, welcome to the Shard! As for your Who's that Cosmere character? I think it's (why are we answering this in spoiler boxes?)

"Adolin has two hands" But yeah, sure, Kadolin is a pretty good ship. As is Shakadolin. How about Nightblood x Vivenna's sword. When I realized what that sword was, I was like omg, Nightblood has a girlfriend. They should totally meet up, y'know like swords do, leaning against the wall or on the weapons rag, or touching hilts when their bearers walk side by side and see if they can hit it off. *musical notes* Two swords, chilling in the same weapons rack, five feet apart cuz they're not gay! Hmm... they don't have genders, is that gay? Some ppl call it gay, it's a big word now

Yes, but can a Dawnshard even die? What would it mean for a Dawnshard to die? It's a primal Command... wouldn't there be more of an effect? Like the Cosmere unraveling? But good point. This could be the Dawnshard that is different from the rest.

Good eye @Elegy! I was rather disappointed that I couldn't find anything with the polestone to connect to Hoid

Theory: Aimia and the Horneater Peaks [Discuss]
Honorless replied to NaturalNumbers's topic in Stormlight Archive
That's a good idea but there was talk of a fabrial being the reason behind the habitability of Aimia. There is one other place we know that should've been uninhabitable but is quite inhabitable and the reason behind that is fabrials: Urithiru. I think a unique spren, like the Sibling, manifested as a fabrial on Aimia and whatever Dai-Gonarthis did to them caused the Scouring of Aimia. Perhaps it was Cusicesh the Protector? -
dawnshard Let's make groups of four, RoW edition
Honorless replied to mathiau's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Good job, OP! I would agree on the Survival Dawnshard theory being very tenuous, but I think Unity Dawnshard theory is on less shakier ground. fyi: Wisdom/Prudence/hiding/Survival Shard might be the same, this part WoBs support, whether or not Invention is the one, we don't know I would say Odium should be in Change. That's what Odium does and it what fuels it. It seeks to change things, it encourages dissent, disagreement, differences and conflict, not inherently bad but easy to to corrupt. -
vessels Question concerning splinters and the 16 vessels:
Honorless replied to Levin's question in Cosmere Q&A
They probably did not know it could be done and I'm assuming there were agreements in place to prevent these kinds of attacks. Even Odium apparently learned to properly Splinter another Shard later on in his career. All the Shards had agreed, though not formally, to not interfere with one another and possibly to not stay behind on Yolen, infighting was probably also considered within this agreement. They probably also did not expect how strong the effect of holding a Shard and getting aligned with with its Intent would be. -
What's some interesting Lore surrounding The Well of Ascension?
Honorless replied to Cheyenne Sedai's topic in Mistborn
The Well of Ascension recharged every 1024 years, it's been implied Alendi and Rashek were not the first to seek the Well, others before them had used the Well how Preservation intended for it to be used- 12 replies

Something is Wrong with Odium's Forces
Honorless replied to Theoryspren's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well it has been implied pretty heavily, some would say confirmed even, that the Unmade were normal Rosharan spren who were all Corrupted by Odium's Investiture, willingly or unwillingly. Sja-Anat said in OB "we were made, then unmade". The Sibling said they'd become unmade if the Corruption of the Tower was completed. Raboniel concurred. As for what's going on with Odium's colours, who knows! Red isn't always a sign of Corruption, though it probably is, in this case.- 22 replies
