Fullborn vs. 5th ideal windrunner 2.0
Frustration replied to MangoBoi101's topic in Cosmere Discussion
It's melted into the suit, you would need to sand it off, just hitting it with a rock won't work. As stated above you can leave the bottom of the boot without aluminum so you can still reverse lash. You're welcome to it, but it makes them significantly worse as they can't push or pull on anything, it would probably mess with A-electrum too, and probably several other things I'm not thinking of. -

Soulcasting works in an aluminum box. That's still less effective than atium was. It would be basically aluminum foil that they saudered to the plate. And shardhammers can still break aluminum, so it really does not help the Fullborn, and in fact would be a massive detriment as they wouldn't be able to use steel/iron. That's like saying that just because you can't see aluminum with steel lines doesn't mean you can't push on things behind it, which you can't. -
Shed tail just got banned. I'm a little sad as I really like the concept, and I'm generally against banning non OHKO moves, but I guess it makes sense.

It would, but that's not what it's for, shardplate is already immune to that. It's blocking Atium. -

They might be able to see where you stand, or move, but swings, punches, and such would go unnoticed. That's true. -

You only really want to lash yourself. Reverse lashings maybe, but you can leave the bottom of your boot free for that and still get the benefits. -

Atium can be completely countered by coating shardplate in a layer of aluminum -
What makes a shardblade a shardblade?
Frustration replied to Tamriel Wolfsbaine's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Not having a spren and not having a cognitive representation are not the same. It is technically possible to soulcast aluminum if you have enough power, so it has to have cognitive and spiritual representations. -
Good question. Freedom of speech(including both online and in print), religion(both in choice and practice), assembly, travel, privacy, Labor(meaning I can choose who I work for and for what), protest, self defense(Including the use of lethal force, and using it in defense of others), Property, the right to defend said property, life, courtship(meaning I choose who I marry), and several more that's just all that's coming to mind at the moment. Voting Abortion. What about you Cheeseman?

The doner has to have a lot of trauma in order to adopt the mindset needed to survive hemalurgy.
-
You know when did Channelknight Fadran enter the story? The in universe character, you showed at least one chapter about him in draft sixteen.

Yes they do.
-
The only known way to survive hemalurgy being used on you is to either have tons of healing already on you and then instntly use them, or to have been tortured first. Neither option is desireable, and it gets you no benefits.
-
You would also die as you just shoved an aluminum spike into your heart.

What makes a shardblade a shardblade?
Frustration replied to Tamriel Wolfsbaine's topic in Cosmere Discussion
That is not true. Everything has a spiritual and cognitive presence, nothing exists on just one realm. -

The Atium retcon actually dates back to before HoA, and the Atium mistings there were actually electrum mistings Brandon has just been playing us for fools for over twelve years. -
Is that a racial feature? Also I have a story, I gave my level 2 party downtime, and one of my players decided to go pay tithes, which I was okay with, then he almost instantly said, "I want to steal the Pope's hat." Me: Are you sure? Him: Is he a spellcaster? Me: He's a high level cleric and you can tell there is at least 1 paladin nearby. He then proceeded to spend the rest of the session thinking of ways to steal the Popes hat including using a grappling hook he had bought earlier. DM.EXE has stopped responding.

Steel causes the spores to grow away from it, Iron causes them to grow towards it, bendalloy should cause spores to react faster, and duralumin should cause them to all react together in one massive burst. I'm not sure what fabrials have to do with it.
-
I'm afraid I do not understan what you are trying to say.
-
I have never heard about anything like this, however there are a lot of features that change based on the character's level, so what you are proposing isn't that unusual.

So, Lumar has spore guns that are capable of quite a lot, but I thought I would try and make them better. Starting off we need to make the barrel gun out of steel, this will force the zephyr spores to generate air pushing the bullet out exclusively. Next, unless you want to make the bullet out of aluminum to kill people with invested defenses, or a spore bullet for any sort of purpose. you want to make the bullet out of iron, increasing the effectiveness of the propellent as it would apply more force directly to the bullet. Next you want to make the hammer out of bendalloy and duralumin to force the reaction to take place even faster. This would have force the entire reaction to occur in an incredible short space of time, meaning no force is wasted. Finally instead of just zephyr spores, add sunlight spores as well, increasing the temperature of the air, and increasing the rate at which it expands, further increasing the velocity at which a bullet would leave the gun. Can you think of any other ways various metals and spores could be used to increase the effectiveness of spore guns?

Who LOVES The Legend of Zelda!

That doesn't even seem like the same game anymore. I love it.
