    Nightblood is a shardblade. I did not think about the Honorblades, that is a good counterpoint.

    Dalinar trusted his wife, and got betrayed almost died and lost a lot of men because of it. So he burned an entire city to the ground because of it, yet that is demonstrably evil. It doesn't matter that Lin was in a bad spot, he chose his actions, he knew what he was doing, and chose to do it anyway.

    Fans have long theorised on the way to make Scadrian shardblades, and I have found an oft forgoten Word of Brandon that might be good to note So Shardblades have to be sentient, which mean we need a LOT more investiture than we previously thougt, and probably need a completly different method than past attempts.

    There are more, Shallan is the only one in book one that gets a lot of focus, there is another with some focus but not much, it isn't until book three that more start showing up, but they are are very cool. I already answered there, but if you want I can move it back here.

    I can't tell you how many times I've thought something along the lines of "I hate my life, it's so boring, why can't it be like [insert fantasy novel here]"

    I would say no, as that's kind of like asking if multiple people can bond the same spren. And while you can, it just can't be at the same time

    Mistborn is probably what you want given your intrests, personally I like Stormlight more, but if you want something dark with mystery and multiple differnet people using their skills to the best of their abilites probably start there.

    any particular reason for that or do you like the way it works? both are fine, jusr wondering I find it really funny and potatoes deserve more love in fantasy, rice and wheat get all the attention, potatoes get Sam and Gollum talking about them, the potatoes need more. So yes I really would like that, and as long as it's not treated like a meme it should work well. Or I'm really tired and not making any sense, that could be it to.

    What happens if someone acsends, changes in ohysical form, but then decides they don't like it. Say they had a big nose all their life, and it shrinks to normal sizes, but now they keep looking at where their nose use to be and thinking how weird it is, would that heal back or would that require blessed sleep? I would say keep the numbers out of the story, as specific numbers wmay bog down your writing. Also definetly keep the potato weakness.

    Point of clairification, Odium's goal was always the Splintering of Honor and Cultivation, he came to the Rosharan system specifically for that purpose. More likely than not he was quite pleased with the human exodus, and he was the one who came to the souls that he would make the Fused.
