  2. I have several times today received a notification, but when I go to check nothing is there.

Please tell me this sometimes happens to you and I'm not losing my mind.

@Ookla the platypus no, I mean I'll get a notification, like the bar at the bottom pops up, and a one appears next to the bell, but when I open up the notification menu there aren't any new ones.

Sometimes it notifies me of the same thing multiple times...could this be it?

Like, today I checked one of Thaidakar's responses to an SU, but even after I checked it I was notified of it as if I hadn't checked it yet.

what bookwyrm said happens to me sometimes. it could definitely be that.

  3. This one actually makes sense given his physiology. Inquisitors by their nature have to rest for long periods of time, and they need to rest more the longer they are inquisitors.(FE 518) But let's not forget that the Bands of Mourning were also mysteriously drained... because. I did notice this, Marsh even showing up in the first place caused a lot of problems for me, because he came out of nowhere, solved the problem and disappeared, though it makes sense why he had to leave it was still a poor decision. I would like to think that Brandon will either get better at this, or otherwise as magic crossovers become more common, and our superpowered immortals move more openly that the issue will resolve itself.
  4. Savantism is permanent, baring resetting the spiritweb, via means only shards currently have. So Nalthinians are not savants, they just have lower natural investiture than other Cosmere worlds, unless they have their breath.
  5. I'll do you one better who is Perry? Why is Perry?
  6. The "survival" shard is Invention.
  7. It just means that their savantism manifests differently.
  8. Handle could be wood.
  9. "That would be our most optimal course of action, I do believe," Isek said, forming a long pole of iron in his hand to use as a walking stick.
  10. It's not that kills instantly when partially drawn. When the latch is open but he hasn't been removed from his sheath he does more damage than a normal sword would, like breaking a man's neck with only a mildly powerful swing. It isn't until he's removed from the sheath that he kills anything he touches. There's actually a WoB on this I have no idea if Nightblood broken backs are harder to heal.
  11. Please, everyone knows their a bean. Bread is good to eat at 3 am.
  12. Well lets see, a shameless plug, not bad, and a decent roleplay at that. A list of shardbuddies, I've never understood the tradition, but that's no reason to dock you. Oh, and a magic trick what is...... Bwahahahahahaha. Oh that was worth it. Normally I'd give you a 17/20, but it would be a crime to rank that magic trick anything below 21/20
  13. I don't think either the suit or Nightblood would draw on the gems, at least not without modification. And how long the suit would last depends on the gems. Vasher burnt through a decent amount in under a minute at the end of Warbreaker.
  14. "Nothing would please me more," Isek said, giving a formal bow.
  15. The culture of the Wheel of Time fandom and ours are basically identical, or at least they became so after Brandon finished WoT, so be prepared.
  16. "Happy to be of assistance," Isek said, stepping off of the corpse. He gave a quick assessment of the two other acolytes, a human and an elf, he was certain he had seen them before, but the only thing he could remember was that the elf was an accomplished healer.
  17. Peter's username on the time wasters guide was Ookla
  18. TLM spoilers aren't allowed outside the specific boards.
  19. Ah, first taste of the wheel of time fandom?
  20. Not a cult. It's tradition to celebrate Peter Alhstrom and Brandon Sanderson's Birthdays. We'll all go back to our normal names in about a week.
  21. ... I do not have notes about doing this exact thing dating back to January 5th.
  22. A heating cloak would use friction, unless you know how to do some other things. What that is, we don't know.
  23. There might have been pre-shattering magics that allowed people to make perpendicularities.
