  1. First of the Sun isn't part of Autonomy's empire yet, even if she has an avatar there. Now if it were part of the empire fully then yes I would, but as of now no.
  2. I'm not saying that they did, just that we cannot assume that they didn't. Now, I feel it would be best to explain my full reasoning for including them. The purpose of the Index is to give as comprehensive an analysis of each world as far we we know about them. While true the men of Gold and Red are first intorduced over a thousand years after the graphic novels, I feel that excluding them would be less helpful to analysing the combat capabilities of Taldain than including them.
  3. The under six minutes was just holding stormlight. That's less effective than just droping coins and jumping. You can't pull on something directly behind someone anymore than you can pull on it inside somone, their investiture will interfere with it. With duralumin you could probably do it, but on it's own no. Now if the steel line doesn't have to go through them than sure you could pull on it, but then it won't go through them. Smaller objects have less matter to push through. They can use full lashings with their feet, so I don't know why not. And why does the Mistborn get coins if they can't get rocks? What they were aiming for or not the end ressult is an increase in acceleration. There is no point at which air resistance would prevent an increase in gravity from increasing speed.
  4. Do we know when the men of Gold and Red were formed?
  5. It never says that they are better fliers.
  6. Shardplate is basically immune to lightning
  7. A Squire isn't a Radiant yet.
  8. Division wouldn't work on Shardplate, so until you brealk the plate apart Division won't work. And as Windrunners are more maneuverable they can break the plate apart first. Squires are part of the magic.
  9. I don;t know if cars have enough mass to anchor your bubble to.
  10. I don't think it has been. I've never even noticed that, there could be something increadible there, good find.
  11. I'd say Windrunner because they have more squires. Other than that, they're probably about equal, maybe still Windrunner, because they can manipulate the wind to move faster and more maneuverably.
  12. There appears to be a fundemental asymetry in the Cosmre(Just like our universe) there isn't any naturally occuring anti-investiture.
  13. Well, yes, but are there any that will die when exposed to the low amounts of salt that the spores do?
  14. If it weren't for the fact that the bolt was in her brain it wouldn't have mattered, Kaladin had his spine severed several times, but still had stormlight.
  15. Yep, thank you, that's my bad.
  16. They do exist Personally I've posited the name of Halfborn for these types of individuals. I'd go with a coinshot+Feruchemist myself.
  17. You can just stop the reverse lashing when you move forawrd. We do see it. WoK: Szeth has to use multiple lashings to move the stone he cut out of the wall, to break down the balcony while fighting Gavilar, etc. WoR: Szeth used them multiple times in the fight with King Havavanar, Kaladin burned through all of his stormlight making lashings for a singe kick etc. I can go on, but we have dozens of examples of multiple lashings making you go faster. F=MA, small rocks with more lashings would hit just as hard as larger ones. And what advantages does that give you? You can push on it, great. How does that help you as that won't push the radiant back, and when they are coming towards you they won't be holding the reverse lashing. Why go with the bridge runs? In OB Chapter 48 someone holding stormlight can run over a Rosharan mile while carrying full gear and rations in under six minutes(OB 465 & 466). That's over 10 mph, while carrying around 68 pounds(given modern military equipment and ration weight, so it's probably more than that, but under Rosharan gravity it should work out the same). Using the military's formula, and assuming that Dehry weighs 175 pounds, he could do it in a little under 4 minutes, or over 15 mph at the slowest. Now the truely increadible thing is there's no downsides, and you can just keep going forever. On page 348 of TFE Vin says that they were slower than a gallpping horse, even when flaring pewter, so I guess pewter would be faster. Radiants fell the 100-200 feet into the chasms without trouble, and Windrunners will routinely drop tens of feet to the ground. Traveling faster doesn't mitigate it, it changes terminal veliocity entirely. Terminal velocity is really complex, taking into account mass, surface area, acceleration, etc. Even changing from falling on your stomach, to feet first will change your terminal velocity. When you can increase you speed terminal velocity changes as well. Stormlight usage depends on the mass off the object, so probably not a lot.
  18. Not really, because it can touch regular sand without turning it black, it's only when the sand is being mastered that it has an effect.
  19. We don't know yet if that's all Investiture, or if it's just Snadmastery. Unless the Omnibus said something Huh, interesting. I don't tend to go in depth on magic systems when doing the world page, through I will eventually to a Sand Mastery page. No idea. The only thing we really know about their origins is that they use a magic system we know about, and are from a world we know.
  20. RoW confirmed that you can't lash shardblades, even your own.
  21. Honorblades are sentient.
  22. Isek watched the flying nightmare fuel land on the outcropping above him, completely negating the trap he'd been planning. Inconsiderate. Exerting his will Isek pulled the metal in, reshaping it into a massive hammer, it took far longer than he would have liked, but the others did an excellent job distracting the beast. With the strange creature holding still Isek brought the hammer down.
  23. ... I realize you can't see this, but Microkenisis allows you to split an atom, and Cohesion could probably do the same thing.
