    I used to place him as my second favorite character of all time, but as I reread, I find myself liking him less.

    Stormlight does give strength, such as when Shallan was able to pull Kaladin into the cleft she carved in the cliff, or when Kaladin couldn't lift Hobber without stormlight, but could with it(WoR 384)

    Um, no. Hoid went out of his way to get it as right as he could, anywhere that he isn't obviously doing storytelling is true.

    But he did show regret, like when he told Sadeas to pull the archers back, or when he speaks to Eshonai at the shattered plains in the RoW flashbacks. Moash does not regret his actions.

    Well during www2 entire villages threw themselves off cliff to avoid surrendering. And given how regals can be "persuaded" to give themselves up they probably offer singers regal forms first, and then pick from that pool of candidates.

    He tried to become an elantrian in the epilogue of the 10th anniversary of Elantris, though he failed, but it is something he tried/is trying to do.

    Well, Taldain and Sel both have large amounts of free Investiture, and given some comments one of the older Elantrians makes about "Pulse length" I think it's safe to say the IRE at least theorizes that it's possible.

    Old posts do be like that. I found an argument I was apart of in like 2019 I think, and oh my I regret almost everything there, even if I did predict a few things in RoW correctly.
