Recently finished watching Buffy and Angel, and a part of me died at the cancellation of Stargate Universe, which finished recently. It was like Firefly all over again... and have decided to move onto Lost and Chevalier d'Eon.
Also, How To Train Your Dragon is pretty much wonderful, and also an excellent date movie.
Black Powder War is book 3 of Temeraire. I just finished the fifth book, and can't wait to get the final book. Then, it's back to Malazan Book of the Fallen.
I was in marching band as well.
So, I randomly found a video of me failing at doing Footloose. One of the most fun experiences of my life, but I definitely cannot dance...

Clarinet and voice. Yes, voice is considered an instrument. I used to be an excellent clarinetist for my age, but I haven't played in several years, so I doubt I'm that good anymore.
I am currently playing Knights of the Old Republic. In other news, today I am going to a birthday party that will involve Munchkin, Game of Thrones card game, and some Battlestar Galactica game. So. Excited.
I would also check out Questionable Content, if you're into more romantic comedy stuff. Oddly, I'm not usually into that stuff, but apparently, QC is that good.
Looking for Group is definitely the best, though, shortly followed by xkcd.
Nope, just found it in the not extended edition. The scene starts at about 2:25:19, and you can check it on Netflix if you want. I think it's the only one of the movies that you can stream. The line is different than in the extended version I think, though.
I'm guessing this would include Lashing? Like, if Szeth went against Vasher, he wouldn't be able to Lash Nightblood directly, similar to how he can't Lash Shardplate directly?
As I said before, Galadrial's gift to Frodo IS in the non extended version of the movies. None of the other gifts are, but his is. It's done in a flashback, though, while they are leaving Lothlorien.
