Very nice. This would also minimize weight. A strong wire net would be very nasty if it was both sticky and pulling on you.

What about when she stops listening to pattern in WoR? Also how would she know about any recent memory gaps?

Yellow is what thinking of. Shallan does have memory gaps for her past I don't know if she has them for her present.

I disagree very strongly with that statistic. Enemies to friends to lovers is a thing but honestly fandom will ship just about anything. I personally hope Kaladin just stays single.

She is not necessarily teaching Kaladin what Kaladin wants to know she is teaching him what she wants to know. Fused do have some understanding of combat ethics. We don't always agree with other fused. Causing pain is often pointless. Here are some good flying tips but also I think she might be getting in his head and not in a good way.

Nothing has been done yet... Radiants came after fused. Depending on the skill of the commander it is possible for individuals with different ideologies to work well together. I am assuming that back in the day the different groups of fused all were singers with different kinds of ethics. As soldiers the heavenly ones have a battlefield ethic left over. However the teleporter was probably not a soldier so his ethics might be based on something else. We have actually seen Truthwatchers since book one. I think it is just that because the type of people that those spren bond tend to be the ones people don't pay attention to that it is taking a while to find them all. Spiritual realm manifestations? Dalinar is the first to bond the stormfather in his current state. Doing so would be awesome. Yes but I am not sure they are entirely the right lessons. Mot of what she teaches him is good but I think a few points are also pretty bad.

They can but not from shots to the head or spine. Additionally I was thinking they could be used right before you closed in combat. A radiant would grab a dart or two in one hand and do a multiple lashing. The fused would probably have to remove the dart before they could really heal so damage to a limb would render them a fairly easy target that you could finish off with you spear. Alternatively a shot to the torso would be an constant expense to the fused. They would have to remove it during a fight with a skilled opponent or fall out of the sky. I think that sounds a bit dangerous. True the fused might not be able to get away but you are basically turning a freeform into a cage match. A better solution to the problems you identified might be to carry a weighted net that could be lashed. Kind of like a small fighter craft? Worst case scenario prep is a good idea but I worry that a parachute might be kind of bulky. Still it should absolutely be given thought. An alternative might be just an extra sphere with enough stormlight to survive a catastrophic fall. Barbing the dart might also work. True but they might also be dangerous in close combat. I wonder if we could find some kind of balance. Maybe an easily discardable one?

Normies can't manifest plate so if Nale did that everyone would know something was up. As to floating above the battlefield he may have summoned plate when everything was happening and dismissed it later. Either way he was at a safe distance.

So far I have been less then impressed by our Windrunner's getups. The pouches of spheres inside the uniform makes sense but other then that none of them seem to have weapons or items specifically designed to take advantage of their powers. We have not seen their full capabilities yet but I think we should be able to equip them much better then they are currently. To start with. INVEST IN SOME DARTS. I can't believe no one has thought of this. We see Kaladin lash a spear and he has to pick one up specifically for the purpose but why not just carry a couple dozen heavy darts? In short to mid range those would be deadly. Also they would quickly deplete enemy fused's voidlight and be hard to remove once in. Face masks? Windrunners should have eye protection so that they can travel at high speeds without closing their eyes. This might be problematic for peripheral vision but someone should look into this. Fabrail tec communications. We recently learned a bit more about fabrails. While it is impossible to make a spanreed work while moving we do know that you can send flashes of light down one. We also know about a fabrail type that buzzes. Assuming those flashes of light are stormlight you could move stormlight between gemstones across distances. We also know that stormlight moves into smaller stones from larger ones so you could probably use this to send patterns of buzzes for communication. Kaladin does this with his spear and shield during WoKs banging them in patterns to tell his forces what formation he wants them in. Imagine how hard it would be force the fused to fight a force that across great distances and at high speeds knew when to break off, when to regroup, and would change tactics frequently. It would be a nightmare. Anyone else have good ideas?

Because it makes more sense? This way you have to actually do the work before you get the reward. Also only getting plate when you figure out the meaning behind your crusade or understand the right way to finish it makes a lot more sense. Szeth has already sworn oath four by your logic. I see it as Gaz being a cog in the machine of hatred. Yeah if he had been a better person to begin with he could have at least made things slightly better then they were but he was also in a position where they only pleasures he could take part in were the destruction of others. You could do a lot with him just going to bridge four, apologizing for his actions and telling them that they inspire him and he wants to be a better person.

I really do want to see his on screen progress. Maybe just this once one of the people Moash and Kaladin both hated could actually redeem themselves.

The Skybreakers say that you have to complete your crusade to your spren's satisfaction.

OB is a stoneward unfortunately. I think most of them will have plate by book five although Szeth won't(he will have to finish his crusade first and I don't see that happening).

It could also be just a learned skill. Something he has figured out with a great deal of time and practice.
