Or just that they are the same approximate size and shape meaning a casual observer won't be able to tell the difference. Not everyone can write either. In fact most people can't. The ones that can seem to be have access to spanreeds when needed.

Why? Given how common spanreeds are it makes sense that they would become standard writing utensils. Using a turned of spanreed to write normal notes make sense.

An important stage in real DID seems to be co-con or co-consciousness where two or more personalities both share the diver's seat. This is NOT the same as integration. Both personalities are in fact separate they are simply cooperating at a very high level(like two very well trained dancers). Additional alters can't be created. People will often discover them but they were there the entire time. You can't make them on demand.

I am still not sure this question has a meaningful answer. The spiritual realm is a place of absolute truth. I don't think time space, motion or investiture work the same way there.

Shallan was still opening her perpendicularity so stormlight was used then. She could not figure out how to give it to stick so nothing happened there. The lurcher is still outputting force though. It is like throwing a punch at the air. Nothing is absorbing it but a seeker can still pick up on the investiture. Something noticeable is happening.

It was a thought experiment. However lets keep going. If it is out of range and the spren is trying to attract then what happens? Does the fabrail not consume stormlight? I have a hard time believing that. The way Kaladin describes it stormlight "wants" to be used. Does it "try" to pull only to fail? What does that trying consist of?

Isn't it shown pretty clearly though? The whole vault of easter eggs? The Aviar? The masked woman? Comments like "not of the local species of human."

But cognitively diamonds and coal have nothing to do with each other. Otherwise you could soulcast with charcoal. In that case what will happen? Lets say the someone wants to protect their home from lightning so they make a fabrail that will draw it away from their home to a safe area. If they leave it on what will happen? You say nothing as there is no lightning in the area. However heat lightning should be attracted. So should static electrisity. No one actually knows where either of those come from. Also if it is a cloudy day couldn't lightning be pulled from the clouds even if no storm is going on? Presumably the reed was made of metal. Great job. Make sure those go to the arcanum!

We can write a fanfic. So for context if you were Kaladin what would you suggest? If you were Syl what standards would you have for your radiant "Should I dab say YEET and then fight him?" "Of course not! Kaladin I expect better from my human!" "Is taunting the assassin in white dishonorable?" "No Kaladin. Far worse! It is tacky. A radiant must exude poise and style even when speaking to unspeakably evil assassins! Especially then!" Anyone else?

Kaladin is now establishing a surrender mechanic allowing both sides to be defeated without death. This increases survival odds markedly. Also shardblades are really hard to beet and the Windrunners are only going to get better while their opponents are going to be stuck at around the same.

She has probably spent several years away from her homeland. As such she starts using their terminology. Plenty of non Jews say Kosher because it is a useful word rather then because they are a member of the faith.

Um wow. You would need to do some pretty severe stuff for that to work but It should work. I don't know if it would alter their forms although now that you mention it I think it odd that singers drink water that has metals in it without harm.

Physically lightning is called a discharge. It happens when too many electrons are concentrated in one place. An attractor should cause electrons to move to one place creating lightning.

Oh I did not even consider that step necessary(or safe really). Attraction will draw lightning out of the area around it. Aim correctly and you have a fairly good short range blast as it will move through whoever is right in front of you. However if you release it the lightning could be drawn to almost anything in the area.
