If I were Odium I would actually make sure that my spren were unintelligent if at all possible. The only actually intelligent one we have seen is currently planing on double crossing him.

I hope you don't find this in poor taste but I think it is important to give critical feedback on theories. I expect sharders to do the same thing to my theories so that I can make better ones in the future. That being said I think I may have found a couple mistakes or at least problems with your theory. Oaths are very important to Vorins. Think about their marriage customs. The greater Rosharan system had at least two shards on it. This may have been enough. The oathpact trapped the fused not Odium. He never claimed to like them only that they were useful and perhaps vital for human survival. It would be poetic justice if Odum's defeat came at the hands of his own creation. That may be a sentiment on Roshar but I don't really think it is one on the shard considering the number of Cultivation based theories I have seen around.

Shallan clearly can make solid illusions. We do not yet know how she does it.

Future sight is limited especially if you only have one PoV and a number of individuals are working against you also have it. However you have two PoVs and can compare notes you might be getting somewhere.

I don't have the ebook right now but Marsh did have a much different attitude after becoming spiked and we know that inquisitors are not exactly human. What if said noble's friends or family caught on to the marked change in behavior. Also puppets have limited effectiveness. A reliable puppet has to be stupid or weak willed. First of all avoiding all the guards would have been difficult and dangerous. Kelsier could not afford to die before his plan was accomplished. Second of all it would have taken a lot of time. Thirdly it is much scarier that someone is strong enough to punch through your security without planing or subtlety and Kel needed them scared for his plan to work. Lighteyes(even teners) are payed based on their rank same as darkeyes. The Vorin legal code establishes clearly how much each group makes and what kind of work they can be expected to do while employed. They have one or two culture specific laws but other then that can you point to any actually weird ones?

Maybe. From the language Brandon uses to talk about Bondsmiths I am fairly certain all three Bondsmiths do swear oaths with identical generic forms. However I do very much agree that Bondsmith oaths are the ones that very much tend to go outside of the simply generic.
