  1. Happy birthday Tesh! 🎂🎁🎉

      Tesh

      Happy belated April fools!

      (But thanks anyways. :p)

  2. “Why do you ask?” Was Ed planning on doing something really high up? They couldn’t go on any planes; Zeus would blast them out of the sky. Was there a tall building he wanted to stand on, or maybe a giant tree? Perhaps he randomly felt like rock climbing.
  3. “Not great.” Jenny was fine with climbing trees, but anything more than that put her on edge. She could probably survive a fall from a tree, but she couldn’t survive a fall from a tall building or airplane. Her dad’s realm was the underground, not the sky. She was perfectly fine with that and had no intentions of trying to act otherwise.
  4. The ghanderflaffling did a backflip in assertion.
  5. Jenny nodded, still rather concerned. She broke off a chunk of her ambrosia and ate it. She was now down to half a square, but it was worth it. She felt the wound in her side finally heal completely. Now she could actually be useful in fights again. That was one thing she knew she could help with. Well, so long as there wasn’t any friendly fire on her part.
  6. No comment. Are you good at playing Uno?
  7. An Italian restaurant. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your likelihood to resist the temptation to steal candy from baby?
  8. A baby ghanderflaffle (a ghanderflaffling, if you will) approached Butt Venture and asked him where the pineapples had gone.
  9. Just like you all will be when my domination over this thread inevitably outlives your will to fight!
  10. “I’m not sure we should separate…” Jenny voiced her protest as she stepped off of the train, but didn’t do so very forcefully. She still didn’t trust herself to know how best to help people. Splitting up in a large city while actively being pursued by monsters and the police really didn’t seem like a very good idea, though. Or maybe splitting up would make them draw less attention. Now Jenny was split on what they should do. @Weaver of Lights
  11. Halt! City's closed with the dragons about. Official business only. Not anymore!
  12. Ed was smiling, so maybe he was still happy. That was good enough for now. She leaned against him back. Jenny wasn’t sure what else to do. She wanted to start attempting to carve something into the table, but that would probably get her in trouble. It was made of plastic, anyways.
  13. Jenny stowed her mirror back in her bag, her face falling. Arguing didn’t seem to be doing much good. She knew exactly how Ed was feeling. It was a miserable way of thinking. She still thought that way sometimes, but was slowly learning to like how she looked.
  14. “Nah, I think I see you right. I guess this stuff can be subjective. I’m still pretty sure you’re wrong, though.” Ed didn’t seem to have very good taste. That could explain why he liked how Jenny looked so much.
  15. “Right. Your poor vision’s the problem.” Did camp have an eye doctor? The Apollo kids could probably figure something out. They’d have to get this fixed as soon as they returned. Ed couldn’t keep inaccurately thinking that he was ugly.
  16. “Maybe you need to get glasses.” Jenny was completely serious. There had to be something wrong with Ed’s vision. She lowered her head until she was looking at his face again. It made her feel awful that he felt this way, particularly because it was a completely inaccurate view.
  17. Jenny tilted her head. That was strange. ”Why not?” Did Ed find making eye contact with himself to be weird? Now she’d overthink it next time she looked in the mirror, too.
  18. Jenny was a bit puzzled. ”You gotta open your eyes if you want to look at them. I really am not lying about them being pretty. They’re definitely worth looking at. I like doing that.” She considered prying one of his eyelids open so he’d look, but determined that that was way too much.
  19. Jenny dug through her bag and produced a small hand mirror, then turned Ed’s head back towards her again. She held up the mirror so that his face reflected back at him. ”See?” This would clear up his confusion. It was really obvious that his eyes were pretty if you looked at them.
  20. Jenny gently placed her hand under Ed’s chin, raising his face back up. ”I’m serious. They’re beautiful.” Did he not know that? Maybe the Hephaestus cabin didn’t have enough mirrors. ”I’ve got a mirror in my bag if you wanna see.”
  21. Hopefully Ed believed what she said. He was smiling, so he might. Jenny really did think he was handsome. “I like your eyes.” They were a beautiful amber color. It sounded a bit silly when she said it out loud, but she wanted him to know it.
  22. Jenny grinned, both at the compliment and seeing how pretty Gift looked in her hair. She felt beautiful. She didn’t feel like that too often. She kept her braid hanging over the front of her shoulder. ”You look really great too.” It wasn’t a particularly eloquent compliment, but it was sincere.
  23. “No, I really like it!” Jenny held the end of the braid up in front of her face, admiring it. While it wasn’t perfect, it was likely better than anything she could do. She fixed Ed’s hair, untangling the tiny half-braid.
