  1. Granted. You can now only eat green eggs and ham. I wish for seagulls to not be mean.
  2. Jenny nodded enthusiastically. Her attention was completely zeroed in on the game. Her face was rather obscured by her cards. ”This is already really fun!” She was excited by the fact that she was actually playing with other people more than anything.
  3. Jenny mulled over her options. Going for yellow would probably mean she didn’t have much risk of being hit with any of Ed’s special cards. That would be her new strategy. Peeking at cards turned out to be very helpful.
  4. Jenny smiled back, but continued to hold her cards extremely close to her face. Ed probably wasn’t trying to lull her into a false sense of security, but it couldn’t hurt to be prepared. She was now rather tempted to peek at Ed’s cards too, however. After all, it was only fair…
  5. Jenny noticed Ed trying to peek out of the corner of her eye, and held her cards even closer to her face. Unfortunately, this was also making them difficult for her to read. She shot him a stink eye. She couldn’t let anyone else beat her, especially if it was by cheating.
  6. Jenny took the opportunity to study her deck some more. She really, really wanted to win. She apparently seemed to have quite a bit of pent up competitiveness.
  7. “Hmm.” Jenny carefully placed down a yellow two. @.....
  8. Jenny squints at it for a bit, then puts down a red +2. @.....
  9. Jenny stares at her cards for a while, then puts down a red three.
  10. I'll let them into the house and, you know, show them where everything is...
  11. Jenny picked up her cards, then kept them extremely close to her face, trying her best to prevent them from being seen by anyone else. It was pretty overkill, but she wasn’t taking any chances.
  12. Jenny happily gave a double thumbs up. This sounded like it was going to be fun.
  13. Jenny nodded. Fortunately that seemed to have only minimal math involved. She probably wouldn’t humiliate herself too badly. ”That makes sense.”
  14. It took a while for Jenny to struggle through reading it, but she eventually thought that she mostly understood it. She was rather embarrassed by how long that took. She was looking forward to yelling uno, though. ”Ok, I think I got it.”
  15. Jenny cocked her head. ”What’s that?” She had already managed to become confused. Hopefully it didn’t involve lots of math. She was pretty bad at math.
  16. Jenny just shook her head. It wasn’t about her right now. Elsie was the one who needed help. She couldn’t let her own problems get in the way. Jenny jumped on the opportunity to change the subject and forced a smile. ”Yes please!” Hopefully it could distract them both.
  17. Jenny nodded silently. She didn’t trust herself to speak for fear that she would sound jealous of Elsie. And, to be perfectly honest, she was. She wished that she could be friends with him too, that he would like Jenny for the same reasons he liked Elsie.
  18. “Terrance is nervous around everyone, Elsie. You didn’t do anything wrong, he’s just not comfortable around other people. He’s been on his own for a long time, I think. Adjusting to interacting with people again can be difficult and scary.” This was bringing up bad memories, but Elsie needed her support. Jenny had to use everything she could to help her feel better. @Random Bystander
  19. I ought to get back to work before I'm missed, but... did anyone else escape? Did Ulfric...
  20. Jenny’s enthusiasm lessened, but she actively tried to maintain it. The dread didn’t seem to be from her worries about Ed, so she figured that it must be coming from Terrance. Was he upset for some reason? Maybe he really hated card games.
  21. “Nope!” Jenny didn’t play multiplayer card games, and single player ones weren’t very fun to her. She wasn’t even sure where to start when it came to shuffling.
  22. Jenny nodded happily. She hadn’t gotten to play a card game with someone since she’d first been alone. She dug out a few more flowers, quite pleased with her decision to bring them along. They’d come in handy more times than she had expected.
  23. We need to get word to Jarl Balgruuf in Whiterun to send whatever troops he can. If you'll do that for me, I'll be in your debt.
