  1. Jenny continued to hold Ed’s hand tightly. The urge to peek was strong, but she resisted it for the moment. ”What’s it look like?” She hadn’t been this high up before. Oh gosh, she was really high up. It was getting harder to not think about that.
  2. “I’d rather you please not tell me where we are.” Ed probably would want to be by a window. That couldn’t upset Jenny if she didn’t know about it. The reason she agreed to come up here was so that everyone else could enjoy the view, and the last thing she wanted to do was ruin that.
  3. “Nope. I’m fine.” Jenny’s words were rather clipped. Physically, she was perfectly fine. She was trying her best to be in denial about her less-than-fine mental state. As if in an attempt to prove her claim, she started to blindly walk out of the elevator. The sooner she could get this over with, the better.
  4. Jenny had her eyes tightly squeezed shut. She was tightly squeezing Ed’s hand as well. She wasn’t panicking quite yet, although she still needed to step out of the elevator. She’d let Ed lead her along so she didn’t bump into anyone.
  5. I don’t have a metal detector on hand, so I will refrain from accepting it.
  6. The extent of my Pokémon experience is watching the show when my little brother did and Pokémon Go. I just really like Eevee. TPBM prefers ice cream cake to regular cake.
  7. Indeed. Y’all gotta bribe me if you wanna win.
  8. They’re really good, I’d recommend trying them! I have, I used to do dressage. It was fun! TPBM thinks that Eevee is the best pokemon.
  9. @The Aspiring Archivist @Weaver of Lights @Random Bystander @The Clarinetist @Scars of Hathsin @whoever else I probably missed
  10. I hire a snake charmer to charm the rope and get it to give the sandwich to me.
  11. Shed a tear at the loss of a perfectly good breakfast item. WWYDIYF a cloud in your pocket?
  12. Granted. The wind seems to hate you in particular. I wish for my laptop's battery to last longer.
  13. Probably, but I can reasonably put it off until tomorrow. TPBM likes Oreos.
  14. Figures. Jenny managed to hide her sadness at that; it wasn't like it was at all unexpected. She was supposed to be used to this sort of treatment, anyways. But somehow, after only a few days of having friends, she'd almost seemed to forget what it was like. Jenny refrained from looking at anything indicating how high they were getting. If she didn't see it, then she couldn't be freaked out by it.
  15. Both Ed and Elsie were smiling. This was great! Elsie seemed like she wanted to be friends with Ed. Jenny decided to smile at Terrance and wave. Maybe she could get him to smile too, since Elsie was smiling. It was probably a futile effort, but she wanted to try anyways. It made her sad to see someone who never smiled. @The Aspiring Archivist
  16. "Yay!" Jenny did a hop of excitement, then realized they were in an elevator. Remembering said fact made her nervous, so she backed up against the wall. It felt safer like that. "I think you'd like Tucana too. It's a toucan." The name wasn't very difficult to remember. @Weaver of Lights
  17. "I like Corvus. It's supposed to be a crow. It's hard to see the shapes of constellations, though. I just take astronomers' word for it." It looked a bit like a bird if she squinted. It wasn't like any other constellation was clearer, though. Vaguely bird shaped was probably the best one could do.
  18. "I really like that too. I should eat it more often." Having run out of her standard set of questions, Jenny wasn't sure what to talk about. She needed more practice with having conversations, but that was hard when you were pretty terrible at maintaining them. She could talk with Ed just fine, but he was Ed. He was different from everyone else.
  19. That was exactly the question Jenny had been planning to ask. She grinned back. "I really like pomegranates. How about you?" Ambrosia was a nifty way to tell exactly what your favorite food was if you were having trouble figuring that out. She'd certainly had enough of it recently to confirm her tastes.
  20. Distant
  21. "No, that's really interesting!" Crows were quickly becoming Jenny's second favorite animal. Holding funerals meant they had a deeper understanding of death than most other animals. Plus, Jenny just really liked funerals. Too bad cats tended to try to eat crows. "I hope to befriend a crow some day." They were one of the few types of animals that wasn't instinctively repulsed by her, probably because they were scavengers. Stumbling upon death was a good turn of fortune for them.
  22. SOHCAHTOA, SOHCAHTOA, SOH-CAH-TO-A… TPBM now has that stuck in their head.
  23. Flatulence is a pretty fun word.
