  1. I like it a lot! If mystery was what you were going for, you nailed that aspect. There were just a few small nitpicks, such as lack of punctuation and contrived dialogue in a couple places, but other than that I’m impressed.
  2. I have beaten the Watcher Knights!
  3. According to the taste testers, whose taste buds had melted off long ago.
  4. Nikon's fingers danced across the fabric, weaving thread over and under. The coat was finally coming together--it would hopefully make the exoskeleton more comfortable to wear. Moving to the shoulders, he stitched a complex pattern across the back: a shape--an emblem--he'd adopted as his own. It appeared on almost everything he made, sometimes stitched, other times engraved. Normally he put function over form, but why not add a bit of style from time to time? The door creaked open behind him. "You got the goods?" Nikon didn't look up. "You have my payment?" he replied, turning over the coat so that the inner skeleton faced out. He picked up the strips of fabric laid out on the table next to him and began laying them over the thin metal bars inside the coat. "Oh, the, uh...payment, yeah." Taydel scratched his head, chuckling nervously. "Didn't we agree you'd just get the larger cut after tonight?" Nikon picked up the needle and thread again, starting to run the thread through the strips. "I need a little upfront, just in case things get dicey." "Hey, it'll be fine," Taydel said. "With your equipment--" "That's just it," Nikon interrupted. "It's my equipment." Taydel was silent for a moment, which was just fine by Nikon. It was much easier to focus without his yapping. "Give me a pass this time," Taydel finally said. "I'll make it up to you next time." Nikon turned to look at the boy. "Fine," he sighed. "But you're paying me back for any lost or damaged equipment." "Of course." Taydel looked at him expectedly, as if waiting for something. Nikon went back to the coat, accidentally pricking himself with the needle. He swore under his breath. It was almost as bad as a paper cut. "Weapons are on the rack in the closet," he said between gritted teeth. "Grapple's by the door--still experimental, but it should do the trick. Think of yourself as the test audience." "Alrighty!" Taydel went to gather equipment, leaving Nikon to his work. He finished the final stitch on the coat just as Taydel opened the door to leave. "See you tonight," the boy called. "You can count on it."
  5. But to invoke disgust, the Chinese food was covered by a layer of Walmart cake frosting.
  6. I have mixed feelings, but I like it for the most part. It’s very experimental, letting each band member kind of do their own thing, which has mixed results sometimes(not a huge fan of Under A Dome), but works for the most part. I think this isn’t their best album—I prefer the other two—but it sets up a very interesting fourth album, which I eagerly anticipate.
  7. And could only be used when he felt strong emotions, such as disgust.
  8. One dragon, a runt from birth, was allergic to Mexican food.
  9. The less scales you had, the more enchiladas you were given.
  10. There was still a dragon class system, however.
  11. Yeah, I have both. In other news, I now have enough Pale Ore for the last nail upgrade! I beat the second challenge in the Colosseum earlier today, and I just beat Nosk. Edit: But I don’t have the Geo for the upgrade. Time to go farm the Colosseum some more. *sigh*
  12. The first option is what I had to go with. The most terrifying monsters are the ones who resemble something you’re familiar with, but there’s something...not right about them.
  13. That’s my goal...haha...ha... *dies*
  14. The newest emperors were named Fred and George.
  15. Because the ghanderflaffle empire was rising.
  16. Why is the second Colosseum of Fools trial so long...?
  17. Of Monsters and Men, my personal favorite band, released their new album today. It’s called Fever Dream!
  18. I think I might start with Black Eagles myself.
  19. I loved Celeste! Such a great game!
  20. That’s my problem. I likely won’t be getting the game for another month, at least.
