  1. Favorite Movie: Bumblebee Favorite Game: Celeste Favorite Book: Skyward(This seems to be a popular one) Favorite Hero: Kimmalyn from Skyward Favorite Villain: Shrike from Mortal Engines(He's mostly a villain, more an antagonist)
  2. The scary thing is I actually remember a lot of them.
  3. A lot of people seem to have found Sanderson through WoT, but it was the opposite for me. I read multiple series at a time, so I usually don't get burned out on big series like this. My favorite part was how real it seemed, and Jordan's worldbuilding just absolutely sucked me in. I absolutely hated book 10, but somehow made it through, and I just loved the rest to death. Especially when Sanderson took over; the prose got way tighter and more interesting, and I even warmed up to Elayne(ELAYNE of all people) by the last book.
  4. Yeah, I knew they were the same universe. It was just a little connection I saw.
  5. I can imagine Dr. Frankenstein as a Nalthian. A Christmas Carol with the ghosts being Honor as Past, Cultivation as Present, and Odium as Future.
  6. You’re probably right. Worldhopping is great for sightseeing, but I guess it’s a little dangerous. I tried to check out Sel the other day; it’ll be a few weeks(or months) before I recover. Both mentally and physically.
  7. Ah, good to know. How would I stop Nightblood from taking it though?
  8. But what if someone wants to give me their breath? I hope I do too...
  9. So, I just read Defending Elysium, and I noticed a parallel between Gran-Gran and Jason Write. Both characters are blind. Is Gran-Gran able to Sense like Jason could? From what I remember--though it's been a while since I read it--Gran-Gran knows when Spensa's approaching, before Spensa even says anything. Anyway, just a thought I had.
  10. I ignored all those bad reviews and went to see it. It's definitely a flawed movie...but I loved it! Shrike and Hester's relationship made me tear up--I thought the flashbacks were used amazingly--and the worldbuilding was great. I just read the book about a week ago. There are some things I prefer in the movie, such as Shrike's character and Hester's arc, but the book was really good. The worldbuilding was just as good, characters got more screen time(such as Katherine), and there were other cool aspects such as the deeper dive into London's guilds.
  11. I'm new to the Shard--though I've browsed as a guest for about 6 months. Let's see here...Been reading Sanderson for four years, started with Final Empire, Favorite Sanderson book(and favorite cosmere book) is Hero of Ages), and favorite Non-Cosmere book is Skyward(Unless TGS counts). So...yeah. Hi!
