Though i'm currently running ubuntu relatively well on some ANCIENT hardware.

Well, my hope with this awesome award idea is to inspire an army of Eerongal impersonators on a quest to attain an award. Then, once my army of internet clones is complete, i can step in and assume control.

Sounds like someone has been setting alight the grail-shaped beacon. Though, i agree, Egwene being spanked was a high part of recent books for me. Egwene and Elayne are two of my most hated characters (but the other two wonder girls, Aviendha and nynaeve are two of my favorites. And, funny enough, originally when i started the series I started completely opposite, preferred Egwene and Elayne, but couldnt stand the other two.) I also would not like to see the series star wars-ized.

You could refund yourself the cost, if you want, and not worry about them. Unless you want to keep track of them, and like craft your own or something in the dungeon. In my opinion, its just easiest to hand wave away the basic stuff and let your characters do what they're built for

yup, beguiler can do traps. Also, if you want, i could roll up a beguiler for you. I'm quite familiar with the system, and i can roll up character pretty quick. If so, anything in particular you want him to be able to do/flavored like? any particular races?

Abandoned Shop -Alleyway Striax, Umieri, & Seynir As the three of you begin to move down the alleyway to make your escape, you hear the scrape to right of stone-on-stone. As you glance over, you notice a barely visible slit in the wall, with an eye peeking out at you. You hear a hushed voice call out "Psst! Hey! Over here! Hurry!" The eye then moves away from the slit as the small gap begins to grow quickly wider, opening up into a small doorway. The portal itself is a head or so too small, and you will have to duck down to enter it.

Well, of generic ammo, i'm gonna go ahead and say to not worry about it. It would be a detriment to any who decide to focus on ranged weapons to have to keep track of all the arrows they use (ive never been a fan of keeping track of all of them, and going about rolling for and collecting "unbroken" ammo is just a huge pain in the rear), and running out essentially makes them useless. I wouldn't even worry about them for encumbrance purposes. But if its special ammo in any capacity (+1 ammo, etc.) then yeah, keep track of it until you run out.

well, there's plenty of things an internet connection is useful for when driving. Streaming music via internet radio/cloud music players/such things, getting alerts of speed traps via an app like trapster, live traffic updates, navigation/directions (with a GPS, of course), and probably other things i cant think of off hand Granted, if the majority of your driving is basically "5-10 minutes in the car" type of driving, these things may not seem important, but back when i was driving an hour to and from work every day, the above things helped me out quite often.

To be fair (and i believe i brought this up at last years' when i think rand/vin matchups were mentioned), based on the power set, the one power is far more powerful than a mistborn's powers. It would realistically be a non-contest. That's because the one power is pretty much infinite in what it can do, where as allomancy is limited to its particular tricks, and follows a strict set of rules. The one power is basically as instant as thought to anyone channeling it, and has no real way for a non-channeler to stop/combat them. Even with Atium, they still wouldn't really hold an edge against the one power. Sure, they could dodge anything thrown at them and all that, but there's no possible way for someone to "dodge" the air solidifying around them, or having their head exploded because that so fit the enemy's whim. (though, of course we all know that cage matches are really more just popularity contests than anything else)

Do the nook tablets have 3G? i thought only the older e-ink ones had 3G service in them, like the older kindles did.

On the toolbar, there's an "insert media" button. In the window, it might show up like [ media]<link>[ /media], but if you hit preview, it should show you if it embedded correctly. It doesn't always work, and sometimes you have to play with the link (for example, with a youtube video, it has to be directly to the video, and can't have any parameters on it for it to work, which usually are after a # sign in the link)

I have a stand-in NPC in mind in case we don't have a trapper by the time you guys are ready for the dungeon, who can die/disappear mysteriously as soon as you actually get a PC trapper. As for characters, i would say that, for now, we stick with 1 character per person until we get a feel for how much time is involved in keeping up with a character, since we haven't actually gotten into applying the mechanics yet.

Yeah, this right here is an awesome part of having a smartphone.

The thing that, honestly, got me hooked on smart phones was the fact that my phone was with me at all times (because i always carry it around) and i swapped from using a pen-and-paper check register to record my finances, to an application on a smart phone back in...oh...2001 i think? Since then, the utility of having a phone with me all sorts of various tasks has been something I couldn't live without. It's one of those things that before i actually HAD it, i didnt know what i was missing out on, and after having used it for so long, i cant imagine living without it.
