Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
Feruchemist replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Granted, but the wishes all carry individual curses from the Nightwatcher. I wish for an Investiture-powered quantum computer. -
I personally believe that The Sibling is connected to Odium as well.

Is that information about herdazians in OB? If so, my failure to have read it by now would explain my ignorance. -

Trapper name: First of the Evening. Vorin Name: Peayaeh (Based off of my first name). Unkulaki: Ynterakili'tunistakani. Korathi: Iensao (Ien (wisdom) and Sao (intelligence), both of which are qualities I identify with). Returned: Tomescourer (I am a voracious reader, scholar, and researcher). True, but one must wonder why they eat shells. Are they the only available food source? Are their teeth stronger than those of most humans? -

How and why do herdazians have "crystalline" black fingernails? How and why can horneaters digest shells? If an investiture-powered eternal motion machine was constructed, what could one do with it? Can investiture move faster than the speed of light? -

Controversial Opinions

The Phantom Menace is the best Star Wars film of all time. First person shooter games are generally idiotic. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an excellent game. -
Parshendi Development (for a Bio project!)
Feruchemist replied to LilacFire's question in Cosmere Q&A
I know a fair bit about biology, so I feel that I can suggest answers adequately. I would describe their gemheart as a useless bit of "left over" material in their body that is created as a result of accrued minerals. Alternatively, one could say that the gemheart is a sort of useless "bone", such as the tailbone, found in humans, that serves little purpose. However, offering a satisfying explanation for the existence of the gemheart (why it evolved in the Parshendi and how it channels Investiture) seems challenging. As the poster before me said, I would instead delve into how they use a specialized form of communication, and how they can pupate into new forms if the community needs them to do so. Furthermore, one can surmise (from evidence on Roshar) that organisms (including Parshendi) evolved gemhearts in order to facilitate the storing and tapping of investiture. This cannot be explained satisfactorily through the use of non-Cosmere, real-world science without utilizing speculation and adaptation that replaces Investiture with electromagnetic force or something else. And even that is stretching the science a bit. I apologize, but I cannot offer insight on how Parshendi are born. Best of luck with your project!- 3 replies

I would choose Elantrian and Fifth Heightening: Being an immortal, god-like being able to draw Aons and use BioChromatic breath would be pretty amazing.

Although I would be prodigiously pleased if such a relationship arc manifested itself, I do not think it is likely.
