  1. A week before whenever you are.
  2. @AonEne
  3. "We need for the people in the slums to help us rebuild the houses." Lena tried to explain, turning away from the printing machine. She would ask about getting some ink later, then she could try a few concotions out. "We don't have too many volunteers at the forge, so we need them to help us." Slowly she walked over, stopped close to the stool where Alask was sitting. "We thought, that if they learn how to read and how to help themselves, maybe we can focus on infrastructural problems, and do more coordinating instead of spend our days carrying bricks around and setting up tents." And our nights killing. She added quietly felt a surge of excitement at the prospect. She had discovered hints at a smaller gang that was forming, they were pushing people out of their restored houses. Good enough reason for Alask to hunt them, and that meant they were game for her as well.
  4. Hero of ages was pretty good. They all are. Choosing is hard. I usually go with the Emperor's Soul (if it's counted as a book). Just a general note: please try to avoid posting twice in a row. You can quote multipe posts in one of your own and you can always edit new content it. It's not grave as you are new, but in general it's frowned upon and should be avoided.
  5. Mike yelped in surprise when the girl shouted and then killed herself. He stared at Mari who tried to do something, to save her, at Lusk who had threatened her. They had all threatened her. They had killed her. She had attacked them first. Tiredly he closed his eyes and then spoke. "Who are the Uninvested?" he let the words hang in the air, just like a petal slowly drifting down. Wes. He wished that Wes was here, that he would stay with them, that he had stayed with him. Wes had understood. He had even liked Porcupine. Feeling distracted he wondered if Wes would have made a difference. Maybe, maybe not. Some things were the way they were. He picked up another spike and lifted it into the air. "We should find the one who created them. It could be a clue where we can find them." ===== @Sherlock Holmes
  6. Sagitta felt Negation look at her. It was as if everything lost it's meaning, everything lost its purpose when for a moment she hung admist this powers. And then Negation was gone. Truth was gone. For the blink of an eye she knew that there were things that she should understand - then Zura jumped to her feet and brandished a knife at Price and she lost her trail of though completely. Instead she jumped to her feet as well, finally let go of Price' hand, slightly confused by the fact that she had held it, but then she remembered their conversation. Gods. They had talked about gods. There was a hole there, large enough to stumble and fall into it, but she instinctively focused on the situation at hand. Quickly she drew her own knife and straightened. "We fought once and you lost." Her voice was calm and cold when she concentrated on the impeding fight. "And if I remember correctly, you sat down in peace with us just a few minutes ago, talking about the stars." A trick. Maybe it all had been a trick and she had used them. Tried to lure Sagitta to sleep to kill them both. @Lunamor
  7. She nodded, excitedly waited for James to drive them home.
  8. Shana followed him with the flowers and helped him load the car. Finally she hopped into it and closed her seatbelt. "Do you think that they will like it?"
  9. Mean question... To GM it's Numenera, to play LARP and here on the shard the Alleyverse.
  10. Now I'm even more curious about her backstory. I'll take another truth, if someone has the time to come up with a question.
  11. Hello and welcome to the shard! It's great to have you here! Thanks for asking some questions Which is your favorite book of Brandon?
  12. Who is your most favourite rp character and why?
  13. Yes, exactly.
  14. Alright. I'll make one tomorrow and tag you.
  15. I edited him accordingly. Just a short note for the future. If you want to update your character sheet, you can always post in the Character thread. This one here is for discussing abilities or first idead around a character.
  16. Any wishes regarding a character?
  17. That is a difficult question. So I think I have to say yes, because my adulthood changes the way I interact with people in general. But it's not because some Sharders are younger, it's simply that I am who I am. And at one point I somehow reached an age that marks me as an adult.
  18. Shana nodded. "Sure. Let's take some of them as well." She asked an employee to pack the flowers together and paid. "Let's head back and decorate everything? They should be done soon."
  19. So, this is no drawing, because I can't draw. Therefore it basically has nothing to do with the Inktober, and the last thing I want to is steal the attention from all of our great artists. Still, when I drove home today there was a song in the radio, and I found myself changing the lyrics to fit all of you. What I am trying to say is thank you. For being here, for giving the Alleyverse it's soul. For giving me a place where I can just be for a while. You are great, never let yourself being told different, or think that you aren't worth everything this world can offer you.
  20. Shana followed him over, looked through the flowers. "What do you think of these sunflowers?" They weren't too large, like her palm, a beautiful yellow with bright green stems. "And these white roses?" She took one and held it next to the sunflower for him to see.
  21. Sagitta inclined her head at Price' words. "They are gods. If they want to keep their existence secret, they have the means to." "But yes, I agree. Maybe it is time to put away the lies and face the truth. They don't care about us, they don't even know if we pray to them." She looked at him, almost surprised by her words. She felt empty, that he was right, only hurt more. She had fought for them, had bled for them. Had risked everything for them. And they didn't even care. "Until today you never gave up your dream of being a soldier. You looked for a way how you can serve your country, but you never gave up. Maybe we need more people like that, and fewer that act like I do. Trusting someone who doesn't even care is a good way to die for nothing." She looked up when he did, saw someone else stumble towards them. For now she didn't move, but readied herself to get to her feet and defend them. @Lord Furret
  22. Shana nodded and walked over to the cashier. They waited for a while, but then she paid. "Sounds good." She replied after a while, her thoughts already at the house. "Let's just pick some yellow flowers and some evergreens. Maybe be can get some grasses as well, or some white ones. Roses maybe."
