Her sword looked fine. Sagitta smiled when she saw the polished steel and quickly slid it back into it's sheath, leaned over to the chest. The two saddlebags contained her armor, but she couldn't check it now, it would take too much time. Instead she reached for her bag and was delighted to see a bundle of cloths next to it. "Do you think you can help me carry the armor? Take one of the saddlebags?" she asked Tion and lifted them both out of the chest as well, set them down on the floor. “Hullo. Do you mind if I come in, mm?” Intensity. She left it to Tion to deal with the god, instead opened her bag and stuffed her own pants into it, changed from the slippers Intensity had given her to her own sturdy shoes. Only then did she look up to see if Tion would agree to carry some of her luggage and found him staring eyes wide at her, doing nothing. It took her a moment to understand that he was waiting for her to come up with a plan, with an idea and she made a clueless gesture with her hands. She didn't even know what the objective was - buy time. She could try to buy them some time. "Give me a second please?" She shouted and grabbed the hem of the thin tunic. Pulling it over her head she made sure she finished the gesture before she continued to speak. "I'm not fully dressed." Without a pause she reached for her own, and started to dress again. It was a little thicker, better to be worn beneath the padded vest that was still lying in the chest. So that one next. With one hand she pointed at the wall of the cabin and then made a kicking motion, as if breaking through the wall. She finished her unspoken question with a slight shrug and a gesture towards Tion, leaving the decision to him.

Shana nodded and turned around and shifted her weapon to her left hand. She watched the Voidbringer sitting there, restrained on the stool, eyes gleaming with hate. It would be easy, so incredibly easy to get rid of him. Walk over, place a hand on his flesh and rip him apart. Easy. He wouldn't be a threat anymore, he wouldn't fight them anymore, he would tell nobody where they lived. But they already knew. They knew about the house and those that were here. He didn't deserve to live, he had proven them that much, but to take that step, to slaughter a restrained prisoner. She wouldn't do it. Let him come at her, let him return with a weapon in his hand and fight her, then she would gladly use her weapon to slice him apart. But not like this. Not even a creature like him deserved to be butchered like a pig. She sighed, a deep, heartfelt sigh, when she walked over, opened the door leading to the outside, away from the house, away from anybody standing around and waiting. Then she switly cut through his bonds. "Go." She told him calmly, used her weapon to point at the door, her weight at her balls. She would watch him go, would make sure he was gone. And if he attacked - then it had been his decision to start a fight. If he attacked, she would fight, and she would try to kill. But for now, she couldn't quite hope that he would accept this gesture of peace, that he would go and leave them alone. And even if he didn't - at least she had tried. This was about her path, her way, as much as it was about him. @xinoehp512

"The hut!" she replied and without waiting for him started to run towards it. She had avoided the herd so far, their eyes and fallen in faces had appeared to be creepy. She was unsure how and why Intensity didn't do anything, but again who was she to understand a god. What she understood though, was the fact that Tion had set up the castles as some kind of defense, and now they were gone, destroyed. She was breathing hard, a stale taste in her mouth, but she forced her legs onward, wondered again just how many days she had spent lying in that bed. Her whole body was weak, she should have been able to run for hours, especially if she used her instinct to help her. Another step, and another one. Sagitta gritt her teeth, forced herself to go on. She hadn't survived by giving up the moment it became difficult. When she arrived at the hut, she reached out for the wall, leaned against it for a moment, tried to catch her breath. Dark spots danced in front of her eyes while she rang for air, her side aching. The chest. Slowly she stepped inside, sat down on the bed, glad for it's quiet, wordless support. She leaned over, reached out for it, and tried to open the lid. It moved a little, but she wasn't able to lift it all. "It's locked. Did you see a key around here?"

Shana gently shook her head. "I can take it from here." she said quietly to Everest, noticed how distressed he seemed to be. It was strange, the difference so easily visible compared to his former, calm self, to the way he professionally handeled the interrogation. Although maybe it was "I don't know what else to ask either." She looked back at the Voidbringer. "You can simply head back to the house and I will follow in a minute."

Hello everybody, as you might have noticed there have been some changes to the pinned topics. We now have a new guide. It is based on our two previous ones, but it combines their information in one place and I added information based on the questions our new players asked frequently. If you would like to add information to the guide please pm me. Secondly, I really liked the idea of having a place for announcements on our part (like the start of a new Era). As Mac already started to use one of the old guides for that purpose, I decided to rename the topic and put it solely to that purpose, as I am pretty sure that most didn't even know there were some announcements. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to me and ask them! Sorana

"I can't call them." She shook her head, stepped past him, back towards the shore. "There is no link, or signal or anything the like." Walking through the wood, she tried to remember where they had come from and in the end went with what was right. She should be able to see the shore soon, and if she couldn't - then she probably should turn around and change direction. "I don't think they marked me." but her voice wasn't sure of the fact. Maybe he had marked her and she hadn't noticed? She had no idea what kind of magic there was, if she was supposed to be able to sense it or not. "We shook hands and then they vanished again - that's it. Nothing else happened." And yet she found herself walking quickly, eyes searching for the beach. Marked by Last. The thought sent a shivver along her spine. Who was he? And why had she agreed so readily - angrily she shook her head. She knew why. Because he had appeared like a god and you didn't dismiss a god. You didn't even discuss with them. You did what they wanted you to do. That she'd even bargained, that she'd changed the words a little, it had felt daring at the time. "Do you think he marked me?" she asked, hand reaching out for a sword that wasn't there. She had left it in the chest, didn't want for her only good weapon to erode away, but now she regretted it deeply. Without her weapon she felt naked, helpless. Quickly she lowered her hand again. If it was magic, a sword wouldn't help her anyway. Against magic - looking over her shoulder to Tion she realized that he might be her only chance.

In that case consider him approved

"He -" she started and then fell silent, tried to remember details, how he had looked, his body and face. He. Was she so sure that it had been a man, and not a woman. Her brow furrowed when she tried to remember, realized that the whole figure was clad in fog and shadows. "I actually don't know." she finally stated and continued to frown. "They contacted me on our journey north. I kind of assumed they were a man, but thinking about it, I can't really pinpoint why." she watched him, squatted next to the feces and collecting them, using cloth to carry them somewhere else. "They asked about the gods I'd met, how they behaved, if they were able to use their powers. They told me, that they were trying to protect the world, to stop it from being destroyed." She made a vague gesture with one of her hands. "Asked me to help them, to tell them if something was off." Shrugging she leaned against a tree again. "I have no idea what they expect me to do." she elaborated honestly. "It's not as if I know how things are supposed to be, lest alone if something changed. I mean even I know, that this hole in the ground wasn't something natural - but then - if they were able to contact me while asleep I have a hard time to believe that they'll miss something as large, as violent as that earthquake?" "I'm sorry. I just thought you would know who they are."

Character is approved and added to the character list. Regarding the epic, you'll have to wait for Voidus. I don't have access to his epic rating system. Sorry!

I like the idea with the bonfire. I can do a corresponding writeup and post it on the 15th, so that we have something to start.

She's approved! I'll add her to the character list tomorrow. Welcome to the Alleyverse!

Shana turned her head at the new voice and suppressed a groan. Where did all the new people come from? They hadn't set out an announce telling everybody to drop by. Not that she minded, but this was about the worst possible moment. And yet, even this annoyance didn't manage to penetrate her calm. "Hello." She greeted her, moved a little, to make sure Sheln didn't get a direct line of attack on her. "He and those like him tried to kill us yesterday." she summed the situation up, her eyes immediatly moving back to the Voidbringer. "We are trying to find out why." "Better stay a little back, despite the restraints he is still dangerous." ==============

Sagitta followed him throug hthe undergrowth, eyes sweeping left and right when she looked for little black pellets. "Over there." she pointed slightly to their left and changed course, headed over to a smaller tree. Next to it on the ground, was a mound of little black pellets. She kept her distance, only gestured towards it. "Something like that?" she asked him and stepped a little aside so that he could pass her. Walk away. It was nearly sad how little he knew her. One moment her talked about her sense of duty and the next, he told her to simply walk away? She suppressed a short, misserable laugh. She wouldn't walk away. It wasn't an option for her. As she had told him before - she was who she was. And she had no intention to join a herd, and loose it all. She was going to fight, no matter how hard it was, how much she hated the feeling of blood on her hands. Because there were other ways to fight. Like Price who served and did it his way. "Who is Last?" She asked Tion, watched his face closely for any hints that he might keep the answer from her. "What do you know about him?"

*eyes Ene's rolls with a pleading look*

Calm spread over her at his words. Her stance remained ready, but she hadn't fight anymore to keep it relaxed. As easily as that, he had revoked all rights to live in her eyes. "I don't know if you realized," she said, her voice calm, but cold. Weird. She couldn't remember when she had been like that the last time. She felt oddly distached from her own body her own thoughts. There was nothing but calm and determination. "But when you attacked us yesterday, we were in the middle of a wedding celebration. And you simply stormed in there, weapons ready and started to fight. We didn't provoke you, we didn't even think of you. Because we were celebrating, that two of us had found love and decided to spend their lives together." She felt herself reach out for stormlight, tempting, waiting for her at her fingertips. "When I moved into this house years ago, things were calmer, quieter. We could live for weeks, partially months without seeing any sign of a threat. But it changed. At the moment, you guys attack us nearly daily." And she had felt bad about fighting, about killing them. Because they were human. "I don't care who you pray to." she said loudly, "I don't care if it's a spaghetti monster or god, I don't care who you love, who you decide to marry -" Her eyes focused on his, her voice still cold and calm. Add odd image about the center of a flame entered her mind. The invidisble, calm part that burnt the hottest. "But I do care, if you aim for nothing but destroying someone else. If you wanted to live, to survive, I would strongly advise to stop attacking children in wheelchairs, doing nothing but visiting a park. Were you present, when we had to rush there, to help our friend fight you off, because he was ambushed?" She didn't wait for a reply instead simply continued. "I can't remember a single time, when one of us living in this house landed the first blow, when we decided to head out and go to you, to launch an attack. Because we didn't do it. We were kidnapped," her voice shuddered at the word, "ambushed, attacked, spied upon, but we never, never ever attacked you first." Loosening her shoulders she gave a slight shrug. "If your plan is to survive, then I strongly suggest you change your methods, because at the moment you are like these birds wandering up to a cliff and jumping down to their death." @xinoehp512 @Lunamor @The_Archivist

Shana returned to keeping quiet, her eyes never quite leaving the Voidbringer. She admired Everet's way, how he remained silent despite the enfuriating way the Voidbringer spoke to them. It was playing with them, just like a cat might toy with a mouse before eating it. She forced herself to keep her body calm and relaxed, her stance ready to move. Tense muscles helped nobody, they would only hinder her if she needed to move quickly. Ready muscles yes, but holding her staff at a tight grip would only make things worse. She found herself smiling at the Voidbringer, pictured herself slamming a blade through its stomach, ripping its throat open, her anger and restlessness burning white hot inside of her. This would be over soon - one way or the other. Either he talked or she would end this. They could always capture another one to be questioned, if this one proved - difficult. "And tell us about your parents." she impulsively added another question, realizing too late that she had interrupted again. Oh well, now it was too late anyways. @The_Archivist @xinoehp512

Hey @Ark1002 thanks a lot for the feedback regarding the index. Actually revising that one is next on my list, as soon as I got some feedback from Voidus regarding some other mod stuff. I will copy it into my "editing the index" doc and I will question the points you adressed, but I won't, and can't promise you any changes. As @kenod already pointed out, being Returned adds several other benefits next to the ones you listed, and in the end, while I am aware that it is very difficult to achieve a 100% fair rating system, it is still our goal. In general, I would like everybody not to reply to this topic in this thread anymore, as it is for character submission only! Otherwise it is really easy for one of us to miss a submitted a character. Any further comments should please go in the character discussion thread instead. Thanks!
