  1. Lena quietly reached into her bag and her fingers closed around a small pouch. She observed the fight and waited for Seb to answer.
  2. Althea turned around and looked at the man claiming to be Hellbent. "Can you proove it?" She asked him. "You were gone for over a year."
  3. Lena followed Seb down the stairs. A visitor was interesting as well. When the stranger flew up the stairs she waved at him. "Hello. I'm Lena." @Ax is NOT Sherlock
  4. "Bottom to top." Lena replied, followed his exchange with the butler. This life of his, it was strange, like she had stumbled into the wrong movie. She felt wrong, like she didn't fit into this world of butlers and manors.
  5. Althea nodded. "It's been a good year. I married, rebuilt Oasis. It's good to see you here." She looked over at Benson. "This is worrying." @Life&Death
  6. "Gladly. Thanks." Lena emptied her glass and put it aside. "Do you have the time to show me around?"
  7. Althea walked over to him. "Hello. It's been a while. I hope you have been fine."
  8. Althea and Max arrived in Oasis. "I used a halberd, yes. But more because I thought it looked scary, than because I know how to wield it." Althea replied and looked around. Lusk and Benson. Interesting. And the man, Max had talked to earlier was here as well. This was prone to get ... exciting. @I think I am here.
  9. "That's good to hear." She smiled at him. "If we have the time, could you maybe help me learn how to wield a weapon? It's not urgent." Althea breathed in stormlight and elsecalled them away.
  10. Althea hugged him, pulled him close. "That's great news." She smiled and then turned earnest. Devaan alive. That meant, she hadn't expected, "Do you think he will like me?" She blurted out and then shook her head. That wasn't really fitting. Not if she looked at his expression regarding Oasis. "Sorry." She said softly. "It's not as bad when you are there. There are almost no signs left of what happened. I try to pretend it's a new city." "Let's go?"
  11. Althea returned to the wedding, looking for Max. Thankfully he was still there and she walked over to him, smiling. "Hey." Apologetically she continued. "I need to go to Oasis, but as we agreed to meet here, I ..." "You wanted to tell me something?" @I think I am here.
  12. "Tacos?" Lena asked, as that was the first that came to her mind. She wasn't really hungry, but it never hurtto have some food close by. "Can I come to the meeting?"

  14. Damaya screamed when she suddenly flew upwards and tightened her grip on Nogard and the bag. When she opened her eyes she saw Araha, heard her laugh. Hopefully Araha had a plan.

  16. Lena followed them and stood by the side of the room, waited. =============== Mira entered the room after a short while, her apron had bloddy splatches on it, but her arms were clean. She was a portly, older woman and nodded shortly at Lena, then stepped up to Nekorb. She quickly looked him over and then gave a series of instructions to one of the sisters. "Tell me what happened." She asked Lena and then listened to the story. "The Tia card didn't work..." She muttered. "Call Kera, she has some experience with this." Then she looked at Nogard again. "And prepare him for an extensive surgery."
  17. Damaya let the glove fall to the floor, when she saw what was beneath it. Rotcennoc vanished and suddenly a lot of things seemed to happen at the same time. Lightning struck again, then the gemheart exploded. She was thrown backwards through the cave, painfully hit a wall, before falling to the ground. For a long moment she simply lay there, her body using the remaining stormlight to heal at least a part of her injuries. Then she slowly got to her feet, leaned against the wall for support. Her eyes fell on a bag on the floor and she recognized it as Klasten's. Picking it up she looked around. She didn't see Araha, but Nogard wasn't too far away and so she limped over to him, sat down next to him. He was still breathing, and so she simply sat there, tried to understand what had happened. The place where her eye had been hurt, and when she lifted her fingers, they came away bloody. She stared at the blood, unable to really grasp what it meant. Exhaustion pressed down on her, heavy and almost irresistable. Closing her eye she rested a hand on Nogard's shoulder to feel if he stired and leaned her head back against the wall. Hopefully Araha was alright. She should look for her, but she couldn't imagine getting back on her feet right now. "Keep watch Coru." She asked her spren and he buzzed in reply, before leaving her arm.
  18. A woman observed the meeting, sitting in the Ghostblood's section. She didn't act, for the moment she only wanted to get a feeling for those who formed the senat. Now and then she took some notes, so that she would be able to write an accurate report later and otherwise mostly kept to herself.
  19. Reassured by his reply Althea returned to their home to change her cloths.
  20. Wait, what do you ... Max reply was cut off and she reached out for him, only partially listened to Lusk anymore. He was still there. Torn between searching for him, or preparing she watched Lusk walk away. With a final wave to Tena and Anthony she left their wedding as well. Max was able to look after himself, she needed to trust him. If he needed help he'd have told her. I'll be in Shadesmar for a while. Do you need help? She couldn't resist asking.
  21. Shadesmar. Well at least she knew her way around there. "Sure. In an hour, we met at the lab? I'd like to change out of my dress." Althea softly reached out for Max. I need to leave the wedding. I'm sorry, I might have done something stupid. But don't worry, I'll find a way.
