    I remember reading that in Secret History, however, that almost confuses me more. I guess it is hard to wrap my mind around not just one, but a whole group of people for whatever reason to just take down some god-like being. Was Adonalsium always there? Was he the first god of the Cosmere? He wasn't infallible or should I say undefeatable. It just is one of a few things that boggle my mind.

    Some of this makes sense, some doesn't. I've gobbled up all of Stormlight, all of Mistborn, and Warbreaker. I read the Traveler and I've been a ghost on this site for a while trying to understand and figure things out. My goal, which I know is impossible to achieve at this point, is to figure out every secret in the Cosmere before the next Stormlight comes out. You can't blame a girl for trying. ;p

    Do we know why Adonalsium was shattered in the first place? Were people just greedy and wanted power for themselves? That's the only concievable reason I could think of. Side note, is there a shard/s on Yolen? If so, what Investiture is there? I can't find anything on Coppermind. If there is a story on Yolen, I haven't gotten there yet, I'm just starting Elantris and all of the "short" novels there. Brandon is certainly prolific.

    Turns out what Butt thought was a garbage smell vial was actually hallucinogenic smell mist, designed to befuddle even the best of Fartomancers.

    Luckily, there was a group of sentient Fartwraiths, who have spent generations perfecting the FartCloaks' near gaseous appearance and style. And the best part, one size fits all! Butt just needed to get some cash together. But how? A well made FartCloak wasn't cheap. He went to see his friend for some advice.

    Upon ingesting the vials, Butt realized, he needed to get a jazzy new FartCloak. If he was going to become a lawman, he needed to look the part.

    This sounds real neat, I, too, however worry that I won't live or Brandon won't live to finish Stormlight. He seems to do everything and always has another secret!

    Ok maybe I am confused, I need to read the Coppermind again! My head is filled with too many smells! I'm probably the blind one. I thought Bands of Mourning mentioned that there were some metals that still hadn't been discovered, so there could be more. Is there a WOB about this?

    No there is 16 total metals, 2 of them being god metals. This is as far as we know anyways.

    Ooh and the opposite of Constitution smell, Violation smell. It intensifies smells to a ridiculous amount.

    Yes I'm pretty sure. Ooh and the smell spikes for Fartalurgy would then I guess be Blessings of Garbage for example. Maybe there should be a constitution scent as one of the God smells. It makes you immune to all smells.

    I'll help you out, we have rotten eggs and garbage. Eggs emits a stink and garbage emits a stench? From what I understand. So we need 14 more. How about Stinky feet, sweaty cheese, vomit, extreme excrement, swamp arse, funky fungi. I'll think of more alliteral names.

    I'll be honest, I kinda forgot Butt Venture's actual name, so I imagined him as a guy who was born with an unfortunate name and changed it to something that flowed like Butt Venture. I was too focused on the smell aspect of the story. Much apologies!

    Now Butt had no recourse. It was time for him to be on his own to prove to everyone who doubted him, that he Buttlandrias Cadrian would become the most fearsome Buttomancer the Cosmere had ever seen. It was time to test his skills with lesser prey than Kelsier. First he stole the rest of Fart Master's vials and books.

    The Fart Master explained this to Butt and gave to him his first smell vial. As he inhaled his vial, he could feel his smell reservoir ignite with 8 of the smells. He became excited.

    It was in fact very pleasant as Butt's senses were all mixed up. The Fart Master took note of this and saw that Butt was indeed ready for his fartomancy training.

    Luckily, Butt had heard of a Fart Master somewhere in the Rosharan system. All he had to do to get accepted was to pass The Trials of Pain.

    "Kelsier!" thought Butt. "He's always rusting stealing my pancakes and my loves! It's time to pay him a visit and give him a taste of his own medicine! Survive my rusting butt! I'll show him!"

    Very interesting. See I took the personality traits of the different groups of spren to be related not just to their surges, but also as a quirk. For example, most of the spren that bonded with humanity after the Recreance were the boldest, the rebels if you will. And it is true we haven't seen a large group of particular spren together (except maybe more than a couple of honorspren), however the honorspren that we did see all tended to be almost arrogant? Headstrong, definitely. We see that with Syl; she is headstrong. Cryptics, and it's true we have only really gotten to know Pattern, (maybe we'll get to see more of the Cryptic Hoid picked up) they seem to be a scholarly, yet practical type. As far as Ivory and inkspren I always took their shadow as the direction of where they could go or had been, since they transport? Kinda like what @Nathrangking said. Cultivation spren, like Wyndle, for some reason remind me of Hobbits. They like to garden and create and grow beautiful things. When I think of them, they feel almost gentle, nurturing to me which would tie in with Edgedancer abilities. But again there are always outliers for any group. I'm excited to see more of some spren cities, like Celebrant and see how the spren act and are.

    Interesting, I guess I'll wait till Mistborn era 4 then. I thought it would be neat to map things out. I also had this thought that at one point, some planet will have had a star treky type spacecraft where anyone could travel between planets. I would think that that would be easier than traveling through perpendicularities, at least some of them anyways.

    True love to Butt was not only pancakes, but pancakes of the rarest kind only found on Taldain with maple syrup harvested from the Village trees found on Scadrial.

    Yeah the ending of SOS, poor Wax! I was angry at Harmony on his behalf!! That man did need so many hugs and cuddles!

    Perhaps Rand would be a better match, but Mat is so much more fun. Mat always has a trick or surprise up his sleeve. He survives. Out of the 3 ta'veren, Mat surprised me the most. That, in my opinion, is why Mat and Kelsier would be more "evenly" matched.
