The other shards felt Butt Ascend again. They didn't like this at all. "I'm way more intelligent than Butt! The only word he knows to make him smart is irrelevant and he gains access to the fifth ceiling!" grumbled Conflict. "Something has to be done!" said Autonomy. "Let's make him irrelevant and join forces!" said Odium.

So with that in mind, he decided to do what he did best. He tried to Fartomancy his way through with some brandy/vodka rain sprinkled on top. Praxton was not amused.

@ArgentI wonder if the ten names of the Almighty and Honor's purposes are related to the ideals of the ten orders of Knights Radiant. I would imagine maybe Tanavast would've planned ahead his demise, so perhaps he had clues for this hidden or not in the number 10, which seems to be everywhere on Roshar. Important things seem to be associated with 10, much like 16 on Scadrial?

"The 5th ceiling, could it be!? Have I finally got there!?" thought Butt. A stern man, by the name of Praxton guarded the door. To gain this legendary awareness there were 2 requirements: become at least a tri-shard and to be able to answer the riddles. This was a problem, as Butt wasn't too bright. But perhaps with the help of Arnold and the ghanderflaffle...

As the tri-shard formed, it started to rain vodka and brandy onto Scadrial. People started to get drunk, chaos ensued. The Butt/Arnold/ghanderflaffle being looked at the chaos amusingly and thought it was wonderfully irrelevant.

Butt than decided to counteract Brandy with a piece of buttered toast. You see it had the splintered soul of a Fused. The buttered toast took the brandy and attacked Brandy.

You see this muffin was made of the tortured souls of rejected muffins brought back to life. Elend recoiled back in horror. "Lord Ruler, woman! What have you done!" yelled Elend.

"Oh, er, that's neat. Got any muffins on you then? For the road?" asked Elend.

"Where have you been!?" cried Elend. "We need to go! Conflict is driving me crazy; he keeps complaining about the smell of the cosmere. We need to find the Dull Shard. That should take care of Conflict's sense of smell at least. Kelsier should be able to help too. You in?" Khriss stared at Elend; her nose pinched.

The Cosmere somehow coalesced back together and the Butt and Arnold shard formed and everyone in it. Khriss stood in amazement and furiously wrote down the creation of the new shard she called, Fart Shard. She observed that its investiture on the planet Scadrial. It was very smelly. She turned to go and bumped into someone. "You!" She yelled.

Hello again guys! As always great podcast! I'm glad you guys were thinking some of the things I thought while reading Oathbringer! And neat to hear new thoughts as well. Dalinar is storming awesome and the part where he restores Honor's perpendicularity gives me chills Everytime! A couple thoughts: Honor clearly wasn't in his right frame of mind before he dies. I first thought "Unite them" meant Dalinar or whomever the Bondsmith was to be was supposed to unite all people's of Roshar and defeat Odium. That seems the obvious interpretation. What if perhaps he wanted the shards Honor, Cultivation, and Odium to be combined? This maybe could/would temper Odium as the shard wouldn't be it's own. Maybe he thought that as the only way to stop Odium from shattering the rest of the shards on Roshar and eventually the other shards in the greater cosmere. Dalinar would be the obvious candidate right now that could unite the 3 shards; Sazed did it with Preservation and Ruin. It's not entirely implausible. Also, Dalinar's interpretation of Honor is interesting I think as at some point in his life he has always been trying to unify something or someone. I.e. Alethkar for Gavilar, than the Vengeance Pact, his family, although that was more him trying to become a better family man, unifying himself? My point is with Dalinar being a Bondsmith and his past, perhaps he views Unity as Honor. Is the Honor in Unity and vice versa? I can definitely see Dalinar taking Honor's shard but not until if/when Navani passes or she somehow is able to join him. Which I have absolutely no idea how that would happen unless Cultivation somehow get splintered and Navani somehow gets the shard back and joins Dalinar. This seems very unlikely, but the romantic in me would love that. Also, super glad it was Dalinar and not Gavilar who became a Bondsmith. For all his faults, I can't imagine Dalinar ever condoning bringing about the apocalypse to unite people. That's just straight up stupid! Dalinar is more compelling of a character to me as well. I could be biased. Excellent podcast again guys, you are the only one I consistently listen too. #DadShard!

Butt didn't like this forging with Arnold business, until he realized with Arnold's fart powers and his combined he became not only the most powerful Fartomancer; but also the smelliest. The ghanderflaffle loved Butt's new smell. Butt decided to run away and ran into Khriss. She took one whiff of Butt and puked.

Butt and ghanderflaffle became Buttflaffle. As they merged together they gained total understanding of each other. They gathered as many pieces of shards as they could and recreated the Fartsmere and it's peoples. It was beautiful and irrelevant.

This is beautiful guys. Butt exploded into tiny pieces and thought about his dear Pineapple. Then pieces of ghanderflaffle came soaring towards particles of Butt.

@Jorr That's ok, I still.get overwhelmed by the Cosmere! I also have a terrible habit of trying to read and figure out everything before/while finishing a story!

Hey all, So I have not read the graphic novel yet. Taldain is my last stop in my first read through the Cosmere. That just means I get to read again. Anyways, I read the White Sand graphic novel excerpt and the 1999 novel version in Arcanum Unbound. The graphic novel excerpt was good, but the novel excerpt was more compelling? If only because you got more detail throughout with words instead of pictures. My question is, do we know if Brandon will ever write or release a White Sand novel or are the graphic novels like it? Don't get me wrong I enjoy graphic novels, but after reading both excerpts I fear that it might not work as well as it should? Khriss pops up everywhere and I guess my fear is that things will be lost in the graphic novel that maybe wouldn't have been if it was a novel instead. I'm still going to enjoy it of course. I guess I was also wondering does anyone else feel this way about White Sand or am I just being super picky?

Sobbing the second time around was a bit painful for Butt as he still hadn't replenished his body fluids. It was also a bit painful because a pencil grazed his face. You see, upon hearing about the ghanderflaffle, Nazh stood up suddenly and threw his pencil. Nazh and the ghanderflaffle had had a falling out not to recently and was embarrassed.

They both looked at each other confused. "The things I put up with to please Khriss." Nazh said. "If you don't know what it is you're drawing; how did you know to draw it in the first place?" asked Butt. "Dammed if I know. You look like rust, by the way. What happened to you?" said Nazh. Butt tried to explain, but couldn't remember. "Oh no!" thought Butt.

I don't get the reference either. Butt's face hurt pretty bad, but he finally decided to pick himself up. Unfortunately, his legs turned to jelly from laying in his sorrow for so many years. He managed to immobilize the ghanderflaffle for enough time to use it as a sled. Somehow, it worked and on the way he bumped into Nazh, who was busy frantically drawing a map.

A seon tsum tsum. That would be adorable. I'd buy an Ashe plush. Brandon! That would be sweet!

Thanks guys for the update on Dark One. It popped up on my feed a couple of weeks ago and it is intriguing. I agree with @Chaos, I don't have a lot of time and when I do have time I prefer to read a book over listening to a podcast. This is one of the only ones I enjoy listening too. I think because it's Cosmere. I'll check it out because it's a Brandon project. I am cautiously optimistic. I hope it works out for him so maybe we can get Cosmere adaptions. Even with that though, I'm hesitant to get excited about. The books are great, I hope that it translates well to TV. I'll have to get into watching TV again, I guess. Thanks again guys, great!

This art looks pretty sweet. I'm excited for the graphic novel than the show as I don't watch much TV. I'll check it out cause it's Brandon though. I have to do something while I wait for more cosmere!

I think Ingenuity is an awesome name for a shard and fits with the theme of the other shards. I am excited to explore the world where Ingenuity resides! I really don't mind the name Shadesmar. I think it's not a super big deal. Cognitive Realm is just to wordy for everyday people to use. I think that's just being nitpicky. I also thought that fire behaving oddly on Roshar was due to the high oxygen environment. Is it possible that fire reacts strongly with stormlight? Does stormlight have combustion properties? Maybe that's why stormlight was used instead of oil or maybe stormlight was easier /safer to "tame" than fire was, so they went with stormlight as their source of light? Interesting thoughts on Scadrian mists. I always thought of the mists to be a benevolent force that became perverted when Ruin was released from the Well. Guys, interesting podcast, loved it. As always, thanks for your effort into making them. I always look forward to them!

Luckily, Butt wasn't thinking those thoughts at all just Tresting. Dilaf decided that Butt's Cosmere should have but one religion and one color for clothing Shu-Dorath and the color red. Scruple looked at Dilaf askance.
