...Conveniently, my character is an Edgedancer. Actually, both of my characters are Edgedancers.
-
My character, Tena, worked all during the Sixteen Year Peace, and got a load of money. She works a lot.
-
Most of the characters die, especially powerful ones, and we do a small timeskip, introducing new characters (with lower power levels) and players.
-
He wants for his Investiture to be gone, since he’s spiked himself a ridiculous amount of times, and doesn’t want to die when the Era ends in the Alleyverse RP.
-
They die. Well, their character dies.

Oh, funny, everyone. Ark, I told you that the Nightwatcher is convenient for these sorts of things.
-
Great, let’s do it. PM me.

Because I’m atheist! Feel the power of no religious restraints, mortals! Also, having Tena marry Hellbent would be awesome. Can we do that, @Ark1002?
-
That’s fine by me, actually.

I feel like we’ve wrapped up the discussion as far as we can without a poll. Potential option: Points system- yes or no.
-
I call it. Tena and Seom both need their stories set in stone. Because, really, Tena’s story is long where no one could have guessed. I just need Mace to die.
-
Hey, when the Era ends, could I be the first to post an Interval thread? It’s really required for Tena specifically, but other characters might want to show how they changed as well.
-
Chasmfiend. Appropriate. It’s pretty normal for people to wait until the next Era before putting their character into the action. Also, we’re starting the Era with a low power-level, so if you wanted to make a Kandra, you should probably start with only one Hemalurgic spike.

My first female character killed Gancho’s first female character.

Everybody else: Only one Investiture, like being a Mistborn or an Elantrian, is weak. Me: *is gold Ferring* Having actual skills is cool.

alleyverse Alleyverse Space Travel Corporation
Sherlock Holmes replied to Spaceferring's topic in The Alleyverse
Lenare smiled at his great-grandson. This is not exactly where I thought I’d be a thousand years ago, shaking hands with my great-grandson, happy. His early years had been spent Worldhopping to avoid the being made into a Steel Inquisitor, going to Roshar first and meeting his spren. Cici sat on his shoulder, wearing a business-like pantsuit and looking at Silas balefully, her expression unreadable. Oh, don’t tell me you think you think he’s a spy or something, Lenare thought to her. He doesn’t look right, Lenny, she told him warningly. You said the same thing about Kezeras when you met her. Anyway, which one of us is the logic-spren? I am not a logic-spren! She paused. Okay, maybe I am a logic-spren. But my judgement stands. He was raised by that crazy granddaughter of yours. She is not crazy. The granddaughter in question stood with her hands on her hips, lips pursed with a decidedly-not-pleased expression on her face. She was so serious, always oppressing her emotions. But Lenare knew her well, and saw the way she was glancing at the tall half-Koloss half-Terris man standing nearby. Oh, child, Lenare thought. He’s too self-centered for you. It was obviously from the man’s posture that that was true. She’s been crazy about this one for a while, Cici observed. Coming from her, that had to mean at least ten years, since she’d been bonded with Lenare for over a thousand years. Yes, she has. But things were brewing of late. Something would happen soon, Lenare was sure of it. Many powerful people were going to be brought to their knees by what would happen soon, and Lenare suspected many would bite the dust by the time that was over. And this man, Mace, was a Fullborn. He’d be dead soon. “Not long for this world,” he muttered unconsciously as he looked at Mace. *** Tena was mortified. Was Lenare saying that Mace was going to die? She shivered. Get over yourself, he doesn’t care. It was clear. It was true. She just had to convince herself to stop caring about people so much. Transfer that energy to something important. Or take a break. Think about things. “Sorry, everyone,” she said, surprising herself. “I’m going to go home. Bye.” Even Lenare looked surprised, and he was over a thousand years old. “Bye,” she repeated. Then, she waved to Silas, Lenare, and Mace, at that last her heart fluttered. That was annoying. She winced, and dropped a coin, Steelpushing on it and sending herself flying in the direction of her house. Many plates of metal were set on the tops of houses as a highway for Steelpushers, and she used those until she landed on the balcony of her house. -
My Era 3 characters: Tena I’d appreciate it if y’alls didn’t read this one, but I’m putting it here anyway. Seom Making her debut as my second female character. Yes, Tena is Seom’s mother. Keep in mind that neither of my characters know this, and so do none of yours. Also keep in mind that Tena’s past makes her a little emotionally unstable.

So, everyone, you know how the Alleycity is divided by what guild holds those parts of land? Or maybe it isn’t, but still, I think that having different laws among the guilds is impossible, especially in such a small area. As a wise person once told me, “If weed was legal in Wisconsin, then I could drive over there, buy some, then drive back into Minnesota with legally obtained weed (paraphrased) (for the record, this was a hypothetical conversation).” This can’t possibly work, since differing laws among states in the US, which is way, way bigger than the Alleycity, are hard to enforce, so enforcing differing laws among a single city would be nay impossible. So, I come to the conclusion that the Great Guilds have to decide a set of laws that works for everyone, and can be enforced by everyone. I think it’s safe to use the US Constitution (Amendments included) as a starting point. Actually, I haven’t seen all the Amendments, so maybe not.

Wait, nevermind.
-
I already did that! In the future, I mean.

Actually, if Tena heard Mace say that, she’d have her worst fear confirmed: that she’s not worthy of being loved. That’s irrational, probably, since her son, dog, and grandfather all care for her, but still... Making my characters miserable appears to be my forte.

*is a grizzly bear*

*grumbles* Tena would punch Mace real bad if she heard him say that, then heal him out of guilt.
