Sherlock Holmes replied to Spaceferring's topic in The Alleyverse
Tena sat down on the grass of the Canton of Combat, and pulled her laptop out her pack, setting it on her lap. She typed in her password, then waited for the homescreen to appear. When it did, she clicked on an Internet browser at random (Alleyweb was one of her favorites) and went to the Alleyzon website. She looked up Tia cards, then ordered three to her house. -
True, true. But Tena was the first actually used a lot.

I feel it's necessary to say that Tena was the first steel Compounder, so don't started chiding me for making her overpowered. She came in right at the Seven Day War, what else was I to do?

...I can recite the American Civil War month-by-month. Just saying. Maybe I'm smarter than I appear. Muahaha, you couldn't have seen me coming. That is, until I poisoned your drink.

I was correct.

I just kind of imagine you as the surprised Pikachu of the lot.

I think you're more prevalent than that. Just saying. You do practically run this subforum.

I'm screwed. My life is a lie.

I didn't mention this idea on the PM because I wanted it to be a surprise, just so everybody knew. So, the idea is that we all give ourselves, or others, classical places in a big ol' dysfunctional family. As Inklingspren once said: "We're all a big dysfunctional family here." I'm going to start with @Ookla the Meeker. This particular one occurred to me, I'm pretty sure, while I was walking home from school. He's that one uncle who everybody knows of, but only the oldest among us really know. That guy who disappears to California for a few years, then expects everyone to remember him when he comes back. Me: Everybody sees him. Everybody knows that he's there, watching, drawing furiously on a sketchbook with a Ticonderoga pencil (which is legit). Occasionally, he'll make a joke, and maybe three people will laugh. Some people feel uncomfortable about his lack of speech, his unending intense stares (also legit). People think he's disturbing, and that fact is, he is. For the record, everybody, say stuff entirely in jest. Don't be mean, please.

A Nightblood of your own!

To me, they look more like crabs. The parts on the back appear to be the shell, and the animal does have six legs. Anyway, it’s probably either a chasmfiend or an axehound, judging by the huge mouths and tails. No... it’s a Larkin.

@Ookla the Skeptical is correct. That quote is from Just Cause 3, after Mario has been injured, but still fights.

"If you're talking about dragging people," Tena said seriously to Zaphoid. "I happen to be an expert. If only because of my experience on the streets. Gangleaders become professionals at kicking people's teeth out as well, so I'm open for that, too. "That sounds complicated," Tena continued to Mace, "but I'm reasonably sure you're the smart one, so you can figure it out." -

"If I wanted to Steelpush something heavy, I'd need an unkeyed pewter metalmind, or something like that. The most I can Steelpush is about two hundred pounds with the right momentum, and if I'm above it. What I mean is that I could make myself go about, say, two hundred feet into the air." Tena cocked her head at Mace. "You could probably do better. You are a Lerasium Mistborn, aren't you?" @Ookla the Paragon -

So, the question is: am I a Ghostblood or a TUBA member?
-
That would be lovely. Having an over-powered character like him around is annoying.

I think a character like Mace is pushing the boundaries (as to how powerful a character should be) but a character like Hellbent is just straight-up insane. Literally and figuratively. Mace is a Fullborn, and has a powerful Amberite Bond. Granted, Archer never really uses most of Mace's powers, but still. Hellbent can just do whatever he wants at this point, can't he? He's a Voidbringer, a Lightweaver, something something etc. etc. Seriously, @Ookla the Dragon Reborn, why? Other thoughts: My Era 3 character is a gold Ferring. Yup, that's it. The nice thing about the Metallic Arts is that you can build off them; if I wanted to give Seom abilities as a Radiant, I could. She could be an Awakener or an Amberite Bond. I could get her one of those fancy magical birds, too.

Fangblade, Compounding pewter something fierce, and with a Shardblade in his mouth, sliced the Amberite and tried to stab the Shardblade into Kane’s gauntleted fist. -
A whole bunch of us are participating in the space guild. Me, Archer, Karnatheon, Spacefaring Ferring, Itiah, Claessen, etc.

“I just got accepted for a job. Something about building an Allomantic spaceship. Completed this here course,” she waved her hand at the trials, “and saved Fae here. Not that hard, I think.” -

Tena followed Fae, wondering how the noble would do.
