Visitors to the site this morning may notice a few changes on the forum. Subtle changes, but ones in the works for some time now, to enhance the cosmetic appearance and, in general, make things look awesome. Because we are all about the awesome. For example, new posts will now be designated by a bright, glowing Aon Omi, while topics with no new posts will be a dull, gray Aon Omi. It looks really, really pretty. I can't wait to see it with lots of new posts. Other changes are more subtle, of course, but as a whole they make the entire place look snazzy. All of this is in conjunction with the changes made by Code Monkey Ryan (we have a navbar now! It's not the one we'll have later, of course, but we have one now and we love it!). Slowly but surely, 17th Shard is coming together in the way we, and hopefully you, want it. And once that is done... we shall have the means to RULE THE COSMERE! Our armies of super-intelligent Inquisitor Squirrels are already in place, and WE SHALL CONQUER! BOW, BOW BEFORE ME! *cough* Ahem. Yeah. But, as stated, that's a long-term goal. Short-term goals are the same as before - make the site look awesome, give the members a great experience, and create the most in-depth, detailed, un-crapflapnasti Wiki we can. The last one in particular is a community project, and everyone is welcome to contribute to The Coppermind. In fact, it's encouraged. We've had some amazing stuff done by members already (you guys know who you are. Fantastic work!) and we love seeing it grow. Stay tuned for further developments. Stuff is in the works, and we think you're gonna like it.

Rest assured, we are aware of that, and it is in the works. It's also a whole 'nother graphic to build, albeit an easy one. It probably would have been done tonight, except we need to sleep. Glad you like the new stuff! Those Aon's were difficult to make... and I did more than just Omi...

At the moment, the main page is unprotected so things like the navigation can be done to it. We originally protected it some time back, but right before we did someone had created the navigation, and we realized locking it would prevent cool stuff like that from happening. So while the Wiki is still being largely constructed, we're leaving it unprotected. Eventually, though, it will be protected. The wiki is in it's experimental stages right now, and people are able to do with the main page what they like. If we don't like it, however, we will crush it and them mercilessly. With squirrels.

You're all wrong. Kelsier should be played by Steve Buscemi, Vin by Miley Cyrus , and Sazed by Samuel L. Jackson. And clearly the only person fit to play the Lord Ruler is the adorable, doe-eyed Tobey Maguire.

Every time someone mentions Dragonsteel I curl up into a little ball and cry myself to sleep. Yes, I want to read it that badly I agree that it is Hoid. An interesting take on the epigraphs nonetheless, and we have been wrong before... Yeah, you guys who have read it suck. Some of you know who this is specifically directed at. -

I can't really think of a reason Raoden and Kula would be searching for Hoid, unless they were associated with Seventeenth Shard in some way. Hoid's cameo in Elantris was very small, and if I recall correctly, the only major character he interacted with was Sarene.

Heh. I send you an email and then discover this thread. And now I suddenly remember the last thing I was going to ask you in it. XD On topic, I'd buy them all. ^^ (Or maybe I'll design the ones you don't, and just make them for me.) If I had to pick, though, I'd go with #1.

What if he were to throw the midget off the cliff at you, then you punted him/her back at the cliff? See, those outside of the feud just don't get it. We tried that. The Midget-Chucking Expo of '04 is now never to be spoken of... I've got it. Get two cliffs facing each other. You throw the midget at the cliff so hard that he bounces off and up onto the opposite cliff, where he waits to throw him back down. Infinite fun! Hmmm.. you just might have something there!

I can tell we're going to be at odds. You like throwing midgets off cliffs, and I like throwing them AT cliffs. Our two sides have never gotten along....

I am officially vetoing the option of a sidebar. I hate sidebars, and it would make the site asymmetrical. And, since I am very OCD about symmetry where I can control it, I am vetoing it out of hand. Seriously. Don't bring it up again. As for the twitter feeds, those have been planned since the beginning for the main page of the site. We do not need them on the forums.
