Mac, all the way. As genuinely happy as Chaos is with Windows, I am happier with Apple. I find it easier to use, honestly more enjoyable to use, and it does everything I need it to do. Fun fact - the graphics on this site were made on a Mac. Because it does it better. And for the record, I have an Android phone, so I am not a complete and utter Mac fanboy, who will only own an Apple product.

Yes, this is not the place to discuss politics. Such things can too easily lead to unnecessary conflict, and this is meant to be a friendly community. We all have our views, and if you wish to discuss such things, I would recommend taking it to private messaging. Civil discourse, people. The only arguing should be about the Cosmere.

Thing is, such things would be subjective to the person. What defines honesty and bad? If an evil man is honest and true to his convictions, and honest to himself, does his power grow? Is what he is doing considered bad in the eyes of the magic? Besides, Integrity is basically Honor. And I think we have that one. Kind of important, in a way, in that one book, about the kings. Since everyone but Joe forgot my birthday a few weeks ago (my revenge is forthcoming, don't worry), I decided that we should have a thread for it. So they don't get forgotten. Like mine was. At the bottom of the forum page, underneath all the stuff, by the cbox, you can see what members have turned another year older. For example, on March 11th, the name "Shivertongue" was there with quite the prominence. If you would like to wish someone a happy birthday (or even a belated one, 16 days overdue) you can do it in this thread. And continue doing it in this thread, for everybody, so that new threads for a single person's birthday don't eventually clog up the board. And this way, we're not using "I Would Like To Announce" for everything. Make sense? I'm pinning this to the top, by the way, so you cannot ignore it. Or forget it. Ever. Edit: I'll start off. I just bought a camera exactly like that, with those same things in mind. I bought a Nikon Coolpix S9100 from Best Buy for my Digital Photography class. It's a good little camera, and fits most if not all of what you have in mind. I think I paid about $185 for it, but I can't recall exactly.

This. I have my own issues with Egwene, but this is the major one. What makes it even worse is that she always ends up on top in the end, despite the flaws in her thinking or what goes wrong, thus affirming her "I'm right" mindset. Basically, I feel as though she has not learned how to fail, and that's a lesson that every character has learned. Rand has definitely learned it. Nynaeve has definitely learned it. Perrin, Moiraine, Siuan, Mat, Thom, Lan, Aviendha, many of the Forsaken, even Elayne - all have had that experience with failure throughout the series, or before it, and it has made them a more complete character. Egwene hasn't had that. She hasn't had anything she's done go disastrously wrong - and before anyone mentions her getting kidnapped by the Tower, she turned that to her advantage. I'm talking about abject failure, where there is nothing you can do but move on and try to make things better, not turning a disadvantage to your favor. And because she has not experienced this, I feel she is an incomplete character. I first started noticing it in book 5, I think, when she got pissy at Nynaeve and Elayne for what they were doing in Tel'aran'rhiod, when she was doing the exact same stuff and taking the exact same risks, and getting chewed out by the Wise Ones. Somehow it's okay for her, but not for other people? I guess what I'm saying, is that I really want to see Egwene fail at something, and fail hard. I like the character, and because I like her, I want this failure. She's come close, but it hasn't happened yet.

All Admin are Staff, but not all Staff are Admin. Admin are, essentially, the people who have a hand in running the operations of the site- business, coding, graphics, promotions, logistics, contests, etc, etc, etc. The Core 5, as I like to call us because it makes us sound cool - Chaos, KChan, Rubix, firstRainbowRose and myself - started the site, and we have added more people to our roster since then. No one on the staff works for Brandon, however some of us know him on a more personal level. The rest of the staff are people we hand-picked to help the day-to-day running of the FORUM. With a few exceptions, that is generally where the moderator's power ends. And they have fewer spikes.

Now, I'll show you MY method of doing math. It has served me well, and I highly recommend everyone take this approach. Step One: Identify your problem. Step Two: Procrastinate (3-4 hours, usually playing WoW) Step Three: Make Eric do it while you go play WoW. Step Four: Make fun of Eric. It's a tried and true method!
