    "Here we go again," Azrael said, putting on his winged helmet as wisps of light began to drift through the air. The chamber resonated with a flat, mechanical voice coming from a speaker. "TELEPORTARIUM ACTIVATION COMMENCING. MAY THE EMPEROR GUIDE YOUR-" The world vanished in a blaze of white light. @Sherlock Holmes @ShadowLord_Lith

    The space marine looked at two of the terminators, nodding at them. They stepped closer to Shae, grabbing the hospital bed with their massive fist-weapons. "Azrael," he said as wisps of light began to materialize in the air. "Call me-" Reality bRoKe IN TW@#%*!----- … … … The searing light faded, and sanity slowly regained control of the world. The room had changed. The hospital room was gone, replaced by a cavernous metal chamber filled to the brim with people. More space marines were present, most in bone-white armor, but there were far more normal humans rushing around them. The noise of grinding machinery and shouting serfs was deafening. Azrael, Shae, Dan, and Ambrosia were standing on a large circular platform that was currently venting Stormlight from its sides with a loud squeal. Azrael let out a breath, a trickle of too-bright blood running from his nose. He looked paler than before. "I'm sorry about that," he said, wiping the blood away. "Teleportation can be… unreliable, at times. Less so in this universe, but fluctuations still occur. Time is of the essence here, and I assume that your operation can be performed at your headquarters. That's why I brought us here." @Sherlock Holmes @ShadowLord_Lith @Element of Chaos

    “I can arrange teleportation to your church,” the space marine said. “We’ll route it through the Invincible Reason and join the Deathwing when they go there. It should be more efficient than what you’re planning.” He snorted. “That’s what they want you to think,” he said. “At the very least, safety is more important than bravado at the moment.” @Sherlock Holmes @ShadowLord_Lith

    The green-armored giant came to a halt. "I-" he said haltingly. "I have an Apothecary- storm it." He reached up for his helmet and took it off. The face underneath was scarred and twisted, but his eyes were clear, and frighteningly intense. "The assassins who did this are still at large," he said, the words spilling out in a rush. "You may not be safe here. The Dark Angels are offering you, and anyone affected by the attack, asylum, medical treatment, supplies, whatever you need." @Sherlock Holmes

    The space marine grunted. One of the mechanical arms protruding from his back twitched, almost as if in frustration. "We need to discuss what happens after the yetis are broken," he said. "They can't breach the walls, so it's only a matter of time before they retreat into the mountains. My Clan wants to follow them in, and purge the land of this infestation. Will your armies be strong enough to assist?" @Vargo Seldon

    “The government is a nightmarish tangle of red tape and petty lords,” Trajan growled. “Your request will never make it past the front door. Let the Crusade handle the logistics of food and water; it’ll give Guilliman’s boys something to fawn over.” @Vargo Seldon

    The black gunships suddenly swerved above Returned, the engines roaring as they strained to halt their momentum. They slammed into the ground with their landing gears extended, one gunship skidding across the ground before it came to a screeching halt. The front ramps dropped down. Space Marines charged out of the Thunderhawks in a wave of black and silver ceramite, rapidly forming a perimeter around Returned and his retinue. One Space Marine strode towards Returned. "Brother Trajan," he said, stamping his cog-toothed axe on the ground. The sounds of bolter fire began to crack through the air. "Where do the lines need reinforcing?" @Vargo Seldon

    A pair of dark shapes shot past the top of the fortress. They rapidly pulled upwards, firing missiles from their underbellies as they swerved. The ranks of the yetis blossomed into flames as the missiles hit their marks, throwing the entire horde into disarray and easing the pressure on Hasharan's elites. The black gunships circled back around, flying straight toward Returned.

    Belay that order, Captain, said a voice in Hasharan's head. It was deep and rough, and sounded strained. A demi-company of Clan Raukaan is inbound to reinforce you, but you must hold the field outside the walls in order for us to land. The Emperor prote-. The strange connection cut off, leaving Hasharan's mind. @beantheboy12

    I'd play in this, though my preferences lean more towards the thriller side of things. Would this be set in the Alleyverse? ('Cause if so, I could bring in some delightful horrors from 40k...)

    Alright! Let's see what we've got: Pair of Lightning Claws: Basically power swords strapped to your fists. They're "Invested" (read: arcane techno-sorcery that acts like Investiture) enough to block a Shardblade, and the blades are sheathed in a "disruptive energy force" that can rip through metal and stone. It's not quite a Shardblade, but it's pretty close. 25 points. Lightning bolt gun: This isn't a thing. Disqualified, and must be replaced with the following: Bolter: The standard weapon of Space Marines, this can do nasty things to you if it hits. 5 points. Kraken Penetrator Rounds: Restricted to the Deathwatch organization, unfortunately. Disqualified, and must be stricken from the records. Laspistol: A sidearm with the power of a modern-day handgun. Not overly-powerful in any way, shape, or form. 0 points. @MacThorstenson @Darth Woodrack Was that helpful?

    A Space Marine in black and silver stepped into the throne room from a side door. "Your Majesty," he said to Elsa, nodding respectfully, "the ventilation machine-spirits have been successfully cowed. You should see a 35.1265 percent..." His voice trailed off as he suddenly noticed the assembly. "What the devil...?" he muttered. "Queen, is this gathering authorized?" @Queen Elsa Steelheart
