Yeddaw, I would say. That's just my view of it, though. And all the radiation has been cleansed. I have no answer for the wall, though. I don't think we ever discussed that. Probably.

Alive and thriving. It's built on the nuked-out ruins of the old city, with a few areas (like the Canton of Combat) on raised plateaus. Those places were shielded during the bombardment. Think lots of canyons, craters, and bridges.

Meanwhile, Grey Knight was beaming with joy. Somehow, his half-baked, utterly random Warhammer 40k concepts were being actually taken seriously. It had come a long way from a single character with Shardplate and a bolt rifle, Grey Knight reflected. Then he ate another kernel of popcorn, and sat back to enjoy the fight.

"I dinnae know muuch mor than yu," the space marine said, dropping down to eye level with Damaya. She pressed a hand to her bloody side, wincing. "The old drake assigned me tae track yu after the saecond Chaos incursion," she continued. "I detected a telepaert haeppening, and warped tae the homin' beacon. Yu can see hae well thaet turned oot." She looked around at the blood-splattered room, then back to the group. "Alright," she said, sounding tired. "Ahm' no expehrt in human architecture, but heretics always seem tae find the deepest hole thaey caen. If we wahnt answers, they'll be oonderground somewhere. Ahnyone have this hoose's schematics?" @Sorana @Cyanic @Silva

Black blood still dripped from the gaping wound in the space marine's side, if more slowly. The immunizer didn't seem to be working. "Ach, crivens," the space marine muttered. "If that's what I think it is, it wud'a been awfy helpful." She sighed, gingerly rising from the floor. "I'm juust tae magic foor this world, lassie. Yer 'Investiture' slides right off me. I cannae be healed, which is a right pain in tae butt sometimes, let mae tell yu." She glanced at Damaya. "How yu holding up, lassie? See any daemons? Unearthly Horrors tryin' to rip yer soul oot?" @Sorana @Cyanic @Silva

The space marine's head shot up, and a hand the size of a dinner plate grabbed Damaya's arm, just before the towel pressed against the wound. "Ah' wud not doo that, if ah weer you," the space marine said, in a surprisingly feminine voice. "Tae blood's toxic, ya see. Bite through yer hand ina matter of seconds." @Sorana

"Well," the Chaos marine said, reaching out towards Damaya, "That depends on what you do ne-" A blazing blade erupted through the Chaos marine's chest, killing him before he could even scream. The blade drew back, leaving burning wound behind, and the Chaos marine dropped silently to the ground. Behind him stood a giant in resplendent, almost glowing, grey armor. The room was filled with the bodies of Chaos space marines, all covered in the same burn marks. The space marine lowered its blazing sword, staring down at Damaya. Then, without warning, it dropped its sword. Its knees buckled, and it dropped to the ground face first with a quiet thud. Thick, black blood began dripping from the space marine's motionless side. @Sorana

A black-armored Chaos marine flashed in and of existence in front of Damaya, disappearing faster than a human eye could see. Damaya disappeared with it. Where the woman had once stood, only silence was left- that, and a small pile of paper, neatly stacked in the dust of her footprints. @Sorana

The shape finally coalesced, a huge, repulsively beautiful being stepping from the pillar of red light. It was pale, almost purple, with exquisitely sculpted muscles and an ornate broadsword. Its head didn't have eyes or a nose, only a smooth, glossy surface where they should have been. It licked its delicate incisors with a long, lashing tongue, and stepped forward- Only to be hit by the tree Deras had thrown and sent flying to the side with an incoherent shriek of rage. It rolled to its feet, hissing at the Lifeless that had dared strike it. @Cyanic

The broken body of the devil suddenly shifted into mist, streaming around the dragon towards the Perpendicularity. A beam of psychic light lanced out of the column, hitting the dragon right in the head. The pillar of light shuddered again, and another shape began coalescing inside of it. The misty remains of the devil flowed into the Perpendicularity, somehow restoring the energy it had been steadily loosing ever since it manifested.

The massive demon shuddered under the barrage of fire, stumbling back with a roar of anger. Deras's Shardblade went into its leg, dropping it to its knees. The devile raised its bat-like wings, using them to cover itself from further attacks. The column of light shuddered again, and disgorged another shape in a burst of baleful energy. This one turned into a withered, blue-skinned humanoid with avian features, carrying a twisted staff made of unidentifiable bones. The avian demon launched into the air, borne on withered wings sprouting from its back, and pointed the twisted staff at the turrets. Lightning burst from the bone tip, smashing the turrets to pieces with a thunderous boom. The red-skinned devil lowered its wings, no longer pinned down, and stood up. The Shardblade was gone from its leg, leaving no noticeable wound. It roared at the small group of Homeless, then turned to Deras as it unlimbered its axes. "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" it said, charging the Lifeless. @Cyanic, @Sorana, @Ark1002

Sparks suddenly erupted around Tarsaan as a squad of Blood Angels fired down the hallway. The ceiling lights went red, then died, plunging the Canton into complete darkness. An armored hand hauled Klasten to his feet and pushed him back. "Welcome to the club," it grumbled. Two glowing eyes turned to face Klasten, even as the space marine kept up a steady stream of shells aimed at Tarsaan.

The sorcerer considered the proposition. He weighed it out, looked at both sides. He sifted through what little evidence he had about the Cosmere, and compared it to the stories of Terra. Then he tossed all that to the side, because storm it, it was Earth. The place didn't even exist in this abominable universe! "I shall join you in your quest, o' mighty one," he said. "We shall journey to Holy Terra, rescue the volleyball, and kick the Corpse Emperor off his Golden Throne! It shall be a glorious- OH FRAAAAAAaaaaakkkkkk..." The voice of the sorcerer faded away as a blue-skinned claw tore through reality and grabbed him, yanking him into a swirling maelstrom of unholy energy. @Gancho Libre

"I, uh..." The sorcerer got an idea. An awful idea. The sorcerer got a wonderful, awful idea. "I think," he said slowly, "I know where your volleyball is. Yes, now I remember! I saw it in the east, being held captive by the uh, Raven Guard! Yes, the Raven Guard are holding it captive in their super-fortress. You should go attack there, and get the poor thing back. I'd help you of course, but I have a... different mission! Yes, I, too, have a great quest to complete. So, you should go and save the volleyball, and I'll go... finish my quest of great importance." @Gancho Libre
