I guess the benefit of losing the radio officer is that we didn't lose a different beneficial role like the action scan (Watch officer) or the alignment scan (Research officer) The problem is that the research officer isn't really that beneficial knowing that the infiltrator can just target the sanitation officer changing their alignment scan to village. Then they both read as village, just like everyone else would. I just had a realization that if the Lieutenant is in play, their win condition isn't really that conducive to the village rn. Because if they meet their win con, we lose an extra potential villager. So the elims would have an interest in keeping the people in that group alive. at least until N2, because then we lose the lieutenant plus their kill in a single hit. But a lieutenant in play makes 4B a bit more village conducive at least until someone in that group dies. So a few worst case scenarios: I think if the Lieutenant is in the game, it's in the best interest of the village to know who they are. But before sharing, if anyone else has a different position, that would be great to discuss. Computer's about to involuntarily reboot. So I'll stop typing now.

Well. That hurts. I had decided to start PMing people today. Guess I won't do that anymore.

I just re read the bulletin from D1. So it suggests the Lieutenant might be in play. Have to rethink a few mechanical things here. I'll get back to you at the day cycle if I'm still alive

Are we moving slow this game or what? It's definitely the slowest moving game since I've rejoined. Alright, let's start with Mechanical thoughts: I agree with drake, we probably don't have much time to get this right, so let's pool our resources. My guess is that we have 2 saboteurs and one fourth Bridge (Spren) on board. @Kasimir If the Fourth Bridge is dead, but we still make it to the day their win condition is met, do they still win? Or must they be alive? Don't know how important the answer is right now, but could be good to know later on. Going with my assumption of 2 Saboteurs, my guess is one sanitation officer and one Infiltrator. Assuming the infiltrator is there, No alignment scan can be trusted fully. Parity would be 4 players left, which if we lose one person per cycle, is 4 turns from now. Night, Day, Night, Day. That means there are 6 villagers. We know the Intelligence officer was one. I know another (mine), and someone is the Radio officer (because we are able to PM). My guess for the other three (four including my own)(And this is entirely meta) would be Station captian, medical, research, and watch officers. ----- Reads: (All soft and nearly neutral for now) Aeo: village for now. I think Aeoryi sounds like a spren-ey name. So Probably spren (Jokes) Coffee: No read (My fault. I don't remember any of your posts at the moment. I'll look back later) Ash: No read (My fault. I don't remember any of your posts at the moment. I'll look back later) Drake: Elim read for now. What were the contents of the DM with Aet? Just you asking for a claim, and them denying? Xino: Elim Read. Explained in my vote yesterday. RBM: Didn't vote. One of most likely candidates for Station captain, or elim. TUO: Also didn't vote. One of most likely canditates for Station capain or elim. CadCom: Always a good guy. Ignore that my name means Cadmium Compounder, which means I'm from Scadrial. My loyalty is to Roshar.

I think Drake is under the impression that the evils were voting for one of the side trains, and/or not the main vote victims. TUA was one of the main trains, so I think that's why he is clearing them. Doesn't really make sense to me beyond going off his own gut. I'll try to add more of my own thoughts instead of guessing someone else's thoughts after I sleep

Alright, so I just reread the rules more thoroughly, and unless I missed something, only the station captain can actually affect the vote, and they wouldn't have been able to do so D1, as they need to not vote to have an ability to do so. In that case, my reasoning of allowing possible vote manipulation to get information was kind of pointless. ---- I'd like to get more info from Drake about the contents of their PM that made you so suspicious of Aet, as I'm now a bit disappointed we lost that role. (Oh and aet too. Sorry we lost you too). I'll also go back and reread that interaction too.

So a quick summary of important details: Aet votes TUO About 12 hours later (if I math correctly) Xino votes RBM Coffee finds that suspicious. Doubles on TUO Ash follows Xino onto RBM Drake votes for Aeternum, noting reasons including PMs. Aeo follows suit, voting Aet Aet swaps to Ash - Requesting they do something noteworthy. Aet and Ash have a discussion about noteworthiness of Ash's vote Aet removes his vote from Ash Kas Posts this updated vote count While I'm typing this, Xino retracts from RBM and moves over to Coffee so now we have a 4 way vote, all within one vote of each other, with only about an hour left. , I honestly thought coffee's vote was kind-of soft village vibes. So with that, And the fact that I think more potential for vote manipulation allows the village to gain more information: I'll just add a new name to the pot Xinoehp215. Sorry for those in the camp of trying to avoid vote manipulation. Sometimes I do feel that way, but that's not the side of the bed I woke up on today. If I have time to reread the rules in the next hour, that could change, but I'm very busy at work, so it's unlikely. If I end up regretting it, I'll let you know in the night cycle.

Ok so catching up.... From my memory, it's always pretty hard to read into any D1 action on D1. (Especially when you rarely start PMs like me)There's just too much randomness, and too much the elims know compared to the village. IRL I should be able to wake up before rollover, so when I wake up, I'll catch up on votes, depending on which side of the bed I wake up on ill see if we need a vote to prevent vote manipulation from happening, or to allow it to happen, and try to vote accordingly. Here's to me not sleeping in.

I also had this thought mid game. Regardless, I think it's a good base to build off of if anyone else wants to run a future ONUW game here, with their own flavor, which I would happily join as a player, even if I'm busy (as long as I'm told about it)

Alright, a few thoughts. I'm trying to decide if I liked not having the elims share their targets, and close the doc at the end of the night cycle. I think in future iterations I would either allow actions to be shared or the doc to stay open throughout the day. Edit: I accidentally hit submit: continuing @LightRinger, I think this was your first game, hope it wasn't too crazy. I don't think I've ever seen a game with 12 pages in just 48 hours, so I think you can usually expect less craziness. If you've ever played Mafia at a party (or murder in the dark or one of many other names for it) I recommend trying out a future game. Normal Sanderson Elimination games are generally less claim crazy, but the intention of this game is to be a bit more crazy. Also, I always struggle to keep up on abbreviations too, so I get that. Regarding role distribution, I did just do one RNG, and I was overall happy that I had 2 of the 3 elim wincon roles, so I went with it. I think I was generally happy with it but could have been fun to see a different distribution. One benefit of ONUW tabletop, is that a game takes like 10 minutes, so you can mix up roles several times and play around in it and learn strategies. In a forum setting, you only have one shot at it for the next 3-4 days. Regarding Lerasium spiked, I though about having a scan of that role come up as Lerasium spiked, but the person who had the role would still be able to complete the New action. (Basically make it as if it were a real card in front of you, as that's the tabletop mechanic) Overall I was happy to see the discussion switching a bit from several players at different times. Don't know if the village just got lucky or if it was stacked in their favor. Would love to hear thoughts. Thanks again for playing. See you in a week. (PS. My neighbors said they lovedtheir adventure hunt race I had built for them, but I thought I bombed it)

The Rebels had shown remarkable coordination across several underground groups. Something never before seen in all of Scadrial. Under the leadership of Kelsier, one little band of skaa was able to make remarkable change in Luthadel. They crippled a ministry that hadn't fallen in over 1000 years. ----- QF 72 is over. The Rebels have won, because they have killed a member of the ministry. Then I'll be Out of coverage for a week, so additional thoughts will be later. Thank you all for joining me in is SE experiment of ONUW games!

Game is over. I'll need 15 minutes to get to a laptop to effectively count votes, then I'll get a follow-up thread posted.

Vote Count: TUO (2): Stick, Kas, Coffee (1): TUO, Please @ me if I missed your vote. Also, this afternoon, I'll be hosting a rather complicated scavenger hunt race for a neighbors family reunion, so if you're gonna have any mechanical questions, ask before noon Mountain time, or expect your answer after 8:30 or 9 Mountain Time at the earliest. If I find a break, I'll check up, but no promises. Edit: guys 9 pages is so many comments. It's fun, but exhausting to keep up on.

The sun rose again. Curfew was lifted. Most people didn't keep it unless an inquisitor was near anyways. Chaos reigned overnight, and into the morning. The question remained. Did the inquisitors squash the rebellion? or would the Skaa rebels ultimately win? And what about the noble families. What would their role be in the rebellion? What about in the aftermath? It was time to Find out. ----- The day phase has begun. A reminder that many role shenanigans took place last night. Even though your actions were all successful, you may not be the same role you were at the beginning of the night. It is your job to find out, in thread if you now have a new role, and determine who are the rebels and who are the ministry workers. Feel free to ask here or in your PMs if you have any clarifying questions. ----- This phase will end at approximately 8:00 AM Mountain time on Sunday, July 7th (I want to sleep in a bit on Sunday) Players Link to Post with Rules.

Night Phase is over. Please stay tuned for PMs, and a new thread for the day phase. .

------- Riots. Just as Kelsiers had planned, riots began suddenly across the city. At ports, at gates, in public squares and halls. Surely, with all the commotion, the Steel ministry would have to respond. And in fact they did. Inquisitors spread throughout the city like antibodies. Attempting to crush any rebellion and establish a strict curfew. Would it work? The steel ministry certainly hoped so. QF72 has begun: A few reminders: this first 48 hours is completely dark. No comments are allowed in thread. This cycle will end approximately 6:30 AM on Friday July 5th PMs are closed for the whole game. If you are Lerasium spiked, please attempt to submit your initial target promptly, so you can be informed of their new role, and submit another action, if the role allows you to do so. Feel free to reach out in your PM with me if you have any questions. You should all be receiving your role assignments shortly. Players: Roles in Play (In action Order)

Signups are closed. Stay tuned for role assignments and post

We currently have 8 players. I can run this with 8, but I would like 9 or 10 if possible. I will likely close this Wednesday 7/3 at 6 AM, instead of tomorrow 7/2 just to give a bit more time for people to join. If any of the current players oppose this due to their own schedules, then I will still close it tomorrow afternoon.

Had to zoom in on it to see what it was. Colors don't quite contrast enough. But then when I saw the girl wearing headphones I thought it was pretty cool. As long as it fits your personality.

Granted. Terrible flash floods occur I wish for these jobs I've applied for to get back to me. -
It would start on 7/2 or 7/3, and you will have 48 hours to submit an action, based on your role, which will be assigned by RNG. Then the next 48 hours, you will try to vote out a Steel ministry members. (Wolf or mafia member, if you're familiar with any of those party games.

Only 4.5 years later... Probably not. I don't have a lot of time for roleplaying anymore. I'm pursuing a masters program full time, working full time, have a child at home, and then 2 more on the way. If I do, it'll be at least a year or two out. I have actually deleted a lot of my really old PMs, so I might not be able to even find the information any more.(Of course, it's also fully possible this has already occurred, and if I tried to do it, I would be very late)
