The same types of things would be happening, I think. Maybe with too much bendalloy you can do awesome time things, but you're permanently a bit set off from everyone else in the time stream. The enhancement metals (duralumin, nicrosil, aluminum, chromium) might not have many harsh effects. Here's what Brandon's told us: I'm betting that you'd be able to apply the above to electrum, gold, and malatium as well.

I've approved you now. The current places where I believe you could interact with people are the Trader's Heaven and the Metallurgic Emporium, they're most active. The former is burning and the latter is a shop with some people inside.

*leans over table* so I'm playing Pokemon, right, starting a new game in Alola, and on a whim I decide to play as a boy because why not.
I'm only like halfway through the game and the 'he's and 'young man/boy's are annoying the heck out of me, like no, I'm a she, thanks, and sometimes I'm just straight-up surprised that I'm a guy in the game because I've just been imposing my own thoughts onto this kid.
I imagine this happening for my entire life.

I am here for any and all adorable 'gang-supports-Rlainarin' stuff! About the main discussion that's been going on, I don't think Danex meant to convey that people with more than one minority status don't exist or are crowding things in general (because obviously that's not true; I don't think anyone on here believes that). I think he was specifically worried about these two characters, and while I don't agree with Renarin, I do agree about Rlain. I love him, but his arc over the past books has been pretty much entirely about being an outcast - which isn't really a bad thing, but I can definitely see it starting to grate. I'm betting we'll get better characterization in the back half.

Explanation time!
I like writing stuff like that, but I hate reading it. (Usually).
Also, tKotC was actually a complete accident. (There is a story behind this, but it's back from when I was in maybe sixth or seventh grade, and I had no idea how anything on here worked, so it's a bit embarrassing. If you're interested.) And it also didn't directly interfere with any important plots or characters, so that was part of it.
Basically, I generally prefer sticking to the books.
I am surprised it lasted so long, though. Hopefully we start it up again at some point in the future.

SALAD I AM HEREBY PUSHING YOUR ANXIETY DOWN A RAINBOW, THAT WAS LOVELY. A story doesn't need to be perfect to be awesome - it's definitely better than what I was writing in 2018 I'm cackling. That's so absolutely them! All the characterization and humor was spot-on, and that ending was great. I know you're not going to continue it for a long time, if ever, but if you ever feel the pull to come back to it, I'll be reading it!

In Chapter 61, Navani sees a warform wielding Elhokar's Blade attempt to carve away the Sibling's shield. Her pain at seeing the warform is a good moment, but not what this thread is about. Instead, I want to talk about how Navani never once referred to that warform as anything other than a warform, singer, or creature. No pronouns, only the species/form. At first I just chalked it up to a mildly rough patch of editing, but then I remembered that there exist people who use no pronouns and go only by name, at which point I decided that this warform is unofficial rep for those people. ...Yeah, there's nothing else to this, just a headcanon of mine.

I know him online, I'd say, but I've never met him in person or spoken over vc with him. I don't have the clearance to answer whether or not he's a bot. I am the youngest mod. I have not been on Shardcast yet. It varies, basically just be a nice, responsible, active member of the community who we think will be good staff.

So, you know what asexuality is. Panromantic is like pansexual, but romantically instead of sexually. I can be romantically interested in someone of any gender. ...Depends on how you're defining subdivisions. People can be ace, they can be the opposite (sometimes called allo in the community), and they can be lots of stuff in between, which is commonly called "gray-asexuality". For example, someone who only feels sexual attraction in certain situations; there are a lot of these and frankly I don't have them all memorized but one of the more well-known ones is demisexual, someone who can only feel sexual attraction to someone they have a strong emotional bond with. (There's also demiromantic, which is the same thing but for romantic attraction.) As for what they all mean, they're just labels for a certain way of feeling attracted to people.
