  1. We might! It's not something we've started doing yet, too much else to do, but we've tossed around the idea.
  2. they just keep coming and they don't stop coming, something something what's the rest of the song Yeah, if there are posts reporting one of those is best.
  3. That image is actually a decent summary of (most of) the clues, but essentially, the number started popping up in the backgrounds of Brandon's YouTube videos and some other places, and people started noticing and theorizing on it. It ended up leading to the newest secret project's announcement, though there might be more to it considering the number is weirdly specific.
  4. Ooooh, keep us updated!
  5. As Faerie Braids said, there's no timeline, and experimenting with social transition or presenting as a girl in whatever ways feel good and safe can help you figure out where you're at. There's a reason the joke is cracking out of your trans egg - many trans people do not realize until later in their life, even if they know of transgender people conceptually, that they're trans. It often takes a lot of thought before suddenly you just realize and break out of that egg. There was a time in my life where I didn't think I was trans either. And know that you can examine doubts without letting them make you anxious or sad - if you want to wear feminine clothes, do it! You can keep thinking on it and giving it time while still doing things that make you happy now. Even if it turns out that you are a guy who wants to present femininely or crossdress, it's fine to take some time to figure that out and tentatively try out thinking of yourself as different things.
  6. I've seen more on Discord, that's where a lot of memeing (with, well, activity in general) has migrated these days. There are also some on Reddit. Here's a favorite of mine from AdoWillRemOurPlightEventually:
  7. It does take a mod to move threads. I don't mind pings and am always happy to help but as seen I don't check my notifications every day, so reporting it so all mods can see (by using the '...' at the top of a post) might get it taken care of faster in the future. I actually think in this case, with a member just starting to get into the books, I don't want to move it into Stormlight where they might get spoiled, so I am going to leave it in General Brandon for now as that forum is meant to be low spoilers. (Though I will also say to Beans, be careful, by coming on the forums at all you do risk seeing spoilers even in forums like General Brandon.) Shallan very well might! I could see her loving the idea even if she didn't have a practical use for it right away.
  8. Hey, happy birthday Sami, hope you're doing well in life :)

  9. That was a lot, sorry that no one saw them before now!
  10. I definitely feel like from how he talked around it in the launch livestream there's something more to it. It's a weirdly specific number, and they can arrange the number of videos to be anything, it wasn't preordained to be the 631st or anything. Gotta be a reason.
  11. Welcome out of lurking!
  12. There have been
  13. Welcome to the Shard, Brightlady! Are you caught up on Stormlight?
  14. Thanks! Don't worry about the mods viewing the page, you're not in trouble.
  15. He is! Even having known this for, idk, a year? Whenever he announced it, I've been hyped for ages. Can't wait for it to finally be out so we can talk about it. I've been so lonely with my trash fire book
  16. Yeah, I just don't follow that logic at all. We know for a fact it is far future cosmere. Regardless of whether or not it has dragons, these will be things Brandon considered. Dragons would only be one more element and not inherently more spoilery than anything else. If it was a discussion on whether or not the book is in the future or high connectivity, I could see this being a point, but it's not; we know it is those things. He already chose to write the "harder" story with more to think about. Dragons may or may not be involved, but their presence does not add complications that Brandon hasn't already accepted (maybe even been enthusiastic about) when writing the book. Sunlit Man I don't think Brandon went "I want to write about dragons, let's make this harder for myself". I think he went "I want to write this thing, and there are dragons in it". It could be that all the dragon talk is unrelated and he simply has them on the mind! But if they are in the secret project, I don't think that complicates it any more than he already inherently chose to deal with. He also has total control over what he writes. If he doesn't want to spoil something, he can find a million ways to do that. He can select the exact plot and characters he wants in order to release the information he wants to.
  17. Gotcha. Please take that stuff out of your profile or I can do it for you. Welcome to the Shard.
  18. Right, so I'm gonna need @SONONE to explain themself, and if anyone genuinely knows and can vouch for them, do that. Trolling is not okay here. Neither, obviously, are any of the things in your profile, if they are true.
  19. First - why would it mean that? The book is already high connectivity, whatever complication level it is is something Brandon chose. And I don't think he's shying away from things that have lots of moving pieces. Also, what does "gain" mean to you? Why wouldn't dragons be adding anything to the story (especially when we don't know how they'd be involved if they were)? Because he loves dragons. He's been talking about them a lot lately, but even before that, we knew he liked dragons and fully intended to write them into the cosmere more. Even if it was more trouble, I imagine he'd find it worth it because dragons. (Valid of him.)
  20. Not sure how that was relevant to what you were replying to? Dragons will presumably still be around in the space age. And yeah, if Brandon's writing something like this, I fully expect him to adhere to the timeline and things (though not to remember it himself lol).
  21. and it's up to me
  22. Yep, he's done it again! Today Brandon Sanderson announced he's written another book in secret and is releasing it with the Words of Radiance leatherbound BackerKit. For those keeping count, this makes eight secret books recently - Tress, Frugal Wizard, Yumi, and Sunlit Man released as part of the Year of Sanderson, Super Awesome Danger announced with those but still in production, Long Chills and Case Dough in the December Sanderson Fan box, and The Most Boring Book Ever illustrated by Kazu Kibuishi. We don't know much about it so far: just that it's in the far future of the cosmere and has "high connectivity". Also, that unlike in the pictures and video we have of the mockup, it won't be purple anymore. Sorry, purple lovers. We'll be getting more information about the book - a title and reading - on the 21st of this month. The book will be shipping sometime in 2025. The Words of Radiance Kickstarter...er, BackerKit...campaign, in addition to the leatherbound and new secret project, includes Dragonsteel Prime (soon we won't have to almost completely restrict discussion of that, so that's cool!) and a lot of cool swag. Those spren plushies? Adorable. We'll see you all in a few weeks with a podcast on this book! Until then, journey before destination.
  23. No problem!
