The first seems more likely. but how long would the left behind copper cloud last until the user stops burning the metal or last a set amount of time. The Bronze-Atium alloy could theoretically allow the burner to pick up on previously used alomantic pulses. Something akin to a bloodhound.

the most useless uses for useful powers
Tarontos replied to king of nowhere's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Lash your self weightless so that you can sleep on air Use duraluminum and tin to make yourself pass out Store breath with cadmium to the point where you passout -
Yeah that's from the RPG. Don't have said copy but if you incorperate lerasium you alredy have the most valibul single refluxed so I doubt its a valence issue. Also unless something is specificly mentioned to be noncannon I'm fairly sertain its cannon. Edit if you have lerasium you might as well become a mistborn
-
What actually happens is it over rights your current metal and replaces it wit the new one at the base Lerasium rating. unless you already burn what ever metal you have alloyed with then it will build up that ones level of power substantially.

Andonsolium is the original shard it existed on a planet where humans existed at some point it shattered into sixteen shards. These are taken up by various people from said world. These shards seperate. Later they make life based off the life forms from there original planet. Unique forms of life are either directly from the settled planet. Or in the case of mist wraiths were created by the lord ruler in his moments of shardic power.

Progress on Mistborn Movie, plus other things
Tarontos commented on Zas678's article in Brandon and Book News
the moon is not the only thing to cause tides. so does the sun. the moon is just exponentially closer to earth than the sun and there for has little influence over the tide. on scadrial preaccenssion would have had extremely high tides due to its closeness to the sun -
Sorry I meant cultivation

What would it make Shard plate=ranavast Blade=odium ?=rayisim

there is another possibility, gems they are the apparent power store for magic. On Scadrial metal is the power source or at least focus of the metallic arts.

So then what's number three

How to defend against shard plate, shard blades, wind runners, ect.
Tarontos replied to RJWB0mb's topic in Stormlight Archive
The thing about shardplate is that it can only take so many hits before shattering. It also has a very limited supply and is expensive to maintain. It has a tendancy to shatter the gems used to regrow it. -

Not what I meant the defensive qualities are what I was talking aboult -

Thanks I can't through stones tablets don't work so well either, I can't find any evidence in the book towards this but we will probobly find out in the next book, as of the testing. But that would also mean that that the faster something is going the more energy the storm light can exeret. Granted fantacy and sifi don't always follow physics so well. -

Idont quite understand "to work as agin toon of the speed" -
I just noticed there was no Forum for how the various manic systems may interact. A few ideas When you hold stormlight you don't need to breath so if you happened to be a cadmium ferring then would you be able to store as much breath as you want. Would night blood even work for some one without breath Can you give some one not from nalthis a breath. Any other ideas or theories or questions are welcome. Infact please include them.

Tarontos replied to RJWB0mb's topic in Stormlight Archive
Reverse lashings would lead to issues. But the fact is the stronger youmake the lashing the more stormlight you need. So what would they use to block something with that much velocity would likely shater what ever is being lashed spilling out the storm light instantaneously. Granted assuming that this is a higher level of technology he could just use a metal shield. That could also just shatter the bone. If they used that much stormlight they probobly wouldn't have stored storm light to protect their body. But I agree with it would be hard to hit the windrunner. Unless the wind runner used a fairly strong reverse lashing. -

Tarontos replied to RJWB0mb's topic in Stormlight Archive
It seems to me that shard plate becomes efectively useless when the higher levels of technology. Are reached. All you need are poison gasses or a gun I'd ont know how much fifty caliber Fidel shots a sharesrd plate could take same with wind runners just use something withe enough velosoty and a reverse lashing shouldn't. Make a difference swimming it still takes time trod a force to accelerait towards. An object. what becomes the issue is not how to take them out. not Bbut how to get enough force on them at once again the best way to conquer is blunt for e don't forget in shard plate youstill sort about head trauma just get a hammer er to the head -
As far as I can tell it is incredibly uncommon to become an elantrien. It would probobly be something like advancement points in the mistborn RPG. Mandy something akin to snapping.

This makes perfect sense. Fact 1 the highstorms are destructive as is hate Fact 2 the highstorms leave crem. Crem is fertile. Hate can be used to further a gole ,make it grow Fact 3 storm light perfects not creates. As a rule hate will drive some one to perfect their skills.

The issue with creating a chart or even knowing weather a metal exists. is how the different god metals once alloyed interact with each other. Such as what happens if you alloy the lerasium atium with the atium lerasium would there need to be a specific ratio that would Likely lean one way or another.or would it just be sazedium

I chose legion at first but then I realized it lacked immortality so I was going to delete and switch to being an weakener. The issue of course with being returned is that you can't get breaths from people not from the propose world so you would live a week

I was thinking along the line of pewter, zinc, Think about it you make your self light to move fast then tap zinc to add momentum to your attacks. Also you would be able to super jump ie make yourself light to gain speed then heavy to add momentum and light again to fall slowly. Not to mention the tuning speed and agility you could manage. Ninja Please note this has a key assumption that when you add weight that weight is moving with you. This would implies that energy can be created or destroyed as the equation for energy is E of k=1/2 (m)v squared a change in mass would either incessant your energetic or leave it the same. Granted this would make it easy to slow down, increase your mass as you come to a stop would slow you down quickly. Also this could be dangerous any where if there was a sudden shift in mass it could cause a massive speed increase or decrease. It seemed simpler to assume speed was constant than energy was constant. Along those lines one could also see how terrorifying Wax is he could speed up using steel then tap iron and become a cannon ball Cannon-ball steel, iron Zinc ferrings in and of them selves are dangerous mixed with any physical power, bronze, or bendaloy would make lethal combinations.

1:i thought of this mainly due to mist-born. how more of preservation is in a person than ruin. if there is always a sixteen percent ratio of mistings to non-mistings than as population increases would the total amount of preservation and ruin increase there for meaning that in theory preservation would eventually over take ruin in power. this is just the example this could work with any shard. but this is the only set i could think of where it is stated that there is a higher ratio of one shard than another. 2:another theory is that there is more power but it is trapped and inaccessible to the shards. 3:a final theory is that the power is given back upon death. his i see as unlikely because of the after life in the universe but in theory possible. 4:this theory may pertain but i am as of yet unsure is it possible that after the death of a person they are abel to lend power to a shard, please note this would probably be insignificant but with many generations behind a shard could make a difference if this has been discussed before i apologies ahead of time i am relatively new to the forums. So please hack away and discuss this
