  1. I think his precog ability is largely based on someone deciding to do something. David thought Fortuity's danger sense would kick in as soon as he decided to shoot him. My guess is that Megan did not decide to shoot until he was in mid jump and she saw an opportunity, and so he could not predict her shots until he was already committed,.
  2. I read it as the Aimians having that ability, which isn't too far removed from Axies' abilities.
  3. I'm thinking 10 for Bondsmiths...but who knows. And who is the in world writer of this back end matter? Could be Hoid, I guess, or possibly a 17th sharder.
  4. I'm reading Steelheart now, and just read this quote that almost made me shoot Cherry Coke from my nose: "I hadn't thought there was a flaw in my plan. I'd worked all those out, smoothing them away like cleanser removing the pimples from a teenager's chin." Another bad metaphor, Dave.
  5. Do we know of any cosmere words that use y as a vowel? Edit: Rysn and Ym Another edit: But the other letters aren't right.
  6. Maybe it's two words: frail dygggk
  7. Gaz is not a herald. If he were, would he be using "Stormfather" as a curse in his own head?
  8. Fanfic! Unless I am wrong, there is a rule against using Sanderson fanfic for profit, and so you can not accept this in lieu of anything with a monetary value. Unless she pays in some other fanfic world where the copyright holder has allowed this...
  9. She included the link with the pictures.
  10. Really? We need something better than that! Although I do think zucchini is truly horrendeous.
  11. The shard of Revelry.
  12. Sell. The last 5 books of the SA is when the Cosmere will start to have a bigger role in the main plot.
  13. Oh so now we skipped over my idea because I got ninja'd? Boo.
  14. I'm pretty sure. It looks like a fourth dot is awarded at 500 posts from what I'm seeing.
  15. I'll buy that, since the previous poster didn't have anything to buy/sell. Danlan is actually a spy or agent for the Ghostbloods.
  16. The dots indicate your post count. 3 means alot of posts, maybe more than 100. Members means you are a member, not an admin or whatever.
  17. You rotting chull carcass you!
  18. Good catch, yes I agree that it disappears when the bonded herald dies. I guess I was assuming that the blades wouldn't bond with a non-herald in my earlier post.
  19. I think it is fairly safe to assume that honorblades disappear when the people bound to them die until we see evidence that this is not true.
  20. Yay. What do I win?
  21. WeiryWriter
  22. What if the crem exists as a very find dust in the air that basically stays afloat for a long time and only comes down when weighed down by the rain in the highstorms? Then again, how would the dust get there in the first place? And how would it effect visibility? They don't seem to have trouble seeing the stars at night or anything like that. So it's almost definitely something in the highstorms that isn't in the rest of the air. What if there's a giant spren at the Origin that spews all that underground water into the atmosphere at an angle that makes it go from east to west in a big storm?
  23. My understanding is that there are 10 shardworlds, period. If Brandon calls a shardworld "minor" it's because it doesn't have a huge role in the greater story being told. There are also other worlds that are shardless but have sentient life, which we may get to vist.
